Chapter 419 Kill This Bastard
Just then, a middle-aged guy strolled into the sales office with two bodyguards in tow.
Everyone's jaws practically hit the floor when they saw him, including Pamela.
Why? Because this guy was none other than Marc's uncle, Cecil, the big shot VP of Harmony Realty Group.
James turned to Cecil, almost on instinct.
"Oh man, this kid is in deep trouble now. He even got Cecil to show up!"
"I heard Cecil's got a nasty rep in Lumina City. Now that he has messed up Marc, Cecil's definitely not gonna let this slide..."
"Yeah, let's see how he gets out of this one. Playing the hero ain't so easy!"
The room buzzed with whispers as Cecil made his entrance.
Marc, spotting his savior, shoved James aside and ran to Cecil, yelling, "Uncle Cecil, you're finally here! Look at what this guy did to me. You gotta help me out!"
Cecil took one look at Marc's swollen face, and anger flared up in his eyes.
Cecil didn't have kids of his own, so he spoiled Marc rotten.
Seeing Marc all beat up by James didn't sit well with him.
Cecil clenched his fists and marched over to James, teeth gritted. "Did you beat up my nephew?"
"Yes, it's me," James replied, cool as a cucumber.
Cecil couldn't help but smirk at James's cocky attitude. "I don't wanna waste my time with a kid like you. How about you call your parents and have them come talk to me?"
"I don't have any family. If you got something to say, say it to me," James said, still calm.
"Well, aren't you a tough one," Cecil sneered. He turned to his bodyguards. "What are you waiting for? Grab this kid. I wanna have a little chat with him somewhere private."
The room collectively gasped.
Everyone knew what Cecil meant by that.
Pamela's heart sank. She knew if Cecil took James away, things would get ugly.
She rushed over to Cecil, pleading, "Cecil, please, do me a favor. James is my friend. He didn't know any better and offended you. Can you let him off this time, for my sake?"
Cecil glanced at Pamela, his eyes lingering on her chest. He licked his lips and said, "Oh, it's you, Pamela."
"Cecil, my friend didn't know you were Marc's uncle. If he had, he wouldn't have touched Marc. Please, for my sake, let him go, okay?" Pamela ignored Cecil's creepy gaze and kept pleading.
Cecil hesitated for a moment, then said with a sleazy grin, "Since you asked, I gotta give you some face."
"Uncle Cecil!" Marc shouted, thinking Cecil was about to let James off the hook.
"Shut up!" Cecil snapped at Marc, then turned his lecherous gaze back to Pamela. "Pamela, if you want me to let your friend go, I have two conditions."
"What conditions?" Pamela asked, confused.
"First, this kid has to kneel and apologize to my nephew," Cecil said, eyeing Pamela up and down. "Second, you have to spend the night with me. What do you think?"
Pamela was stunned. She couldn't believe how gross Marc and Cecil both were.
"Pamela, what do you think? Can you agree to my two conditions?" Cecil asked, grinning like a creep.
"Cecil, please don't joke with me," Pamela said, biting her lip, feeling helpless.
"Do I look like I'm joking?" Cecil replied, reaching out to pull Pamela into his arms.
"Get your filthy hands off her!" James shouted, rushing over and kicking Cecil right in the butt.
Cecil, being in his fifties, couldn't handle the kick and went down hard, almost getting knocked out.
"You dare touch my uncle? You're asking for it!" Marc yelled, then turned to the bodyguards. "What are you two standing there for? Didn't you see my uncle get hit? Kill this bastard!"
The bodyguards snapped out of it and charged at James.
James, knowing he couldn't take on two professional bodyguards, quickly pulled out the keys to his Ferrari, slapped them on the table, and shouted to the security guards at the entrance, "Whoever takes these two down gets my car!"
The security guards were stunned.
"Kid, are you serious?" one of the security guards asked, skeptical.
"Of course I am. My car's parked right outside. Go see for yourself!" James replied.
The security guard looked outside and saw a red sports car parked there.
"How do we know that car is yours?" the security guard asked.
James pressed the car key, and the Ferrari beeped instantly.
The security guards saw the car was indeed James's but were still hesitant, considering the other party was Cecil's men.
"I bought that car for 18 million dollars. If the four of you take them down together, each of you will get at least 4 million dollars. That's enough money for a lifetime!" James shouted, trying to convince them.
