Chapter 61 Jennifer's Disturbance

"The girls from the University of Lumina wouldn't go on a date with James, but that doesn't mean girls from other schools wouldn't consider it!"

At that moment, Michael suddenly spoke in a cold tone.

Upon hearing Michael's words, everyone paused for a moment before quickly grasping the situation.

"James must have seduced girls from other schools here and pretended to be a wealthy playboy while wooing them!" David exclaimed hurriedly.

Michael couldn't help but smirk. For day, he had been contemplating how to get back at James, but had never found the right opportunity.

Now the chance had finally arrived, and Michael wasn't about to let James off the hook.

"Mr. Brown, I'm going to expose James' true colors right now!" David asked Michael excitedly.

"Don't rush; let's wait a bit more. I plan to confront James just when he thinks he's succeeding, and then reveal his true self. That's when it will be truly satisfying!" Michael cunningly smiled.

And everyone also understood Michael's sinister plan.

Meanwhile, at a nearby table, after a brief exchange with James, Sarah found his character rather pleasant and his appearance agreeable.

Most importantly, Sarah sensed that James didn't have the same ulterior motives as many other men who typically saw her as a conquest. James seemed genuinely disinterested in such intentions, which Sarah admired as a sigh of integrity.

While Sarah didn't develop feelings for James based on this encounter alone, she did feel more comfortable talking to him.

As they talked, Sarah maintained a gentle smile on her face.

James, on the other hand, had a positive impression of Sarah. However, he wasn't sure if Sarah would continue to converse with him in the same manner once she discovered his humble financial status.

Paul, watching James and Sarah getting along, felt immensely pleased. However, Evelyn's joy had faded.

She couldn't believe that Sarah was having such an amicable conversation with James, showing no signs of dislike towards him. Evelyn wrestled with her thoughts, debating whether to inform Sarah about James' true identity once they returned to her dorm.

Though Evelyn hesitated totell her roommates about her friendship with James, she couldn't bear the thought of her best friend being deceived by someone like James.

"Sarah, I've heard that you've never had a boyfriend, is that true?" Paul suddenly asked, smiling cheerfully as he addressed Sarah.

Upon hearing Paul's question, Sarah couldn't help but pause for a moment before softly responding, "Yes, I haven't found the right person, so I've remained single."

"You're so beautiful; there must be plenty of guys pursuing you," Paul grinned mischievously before adding, "James is one of my best buddies, and I know him pretty well. He recently became single again. Why don't you two give dating a shot?"

"Paul, don't be ridiculous. Sarah and James have only known each other for less than two hours!" Evelyn retorted, displeased with Paul's suggestion.

Paul turned to face Evelyn, a hint of resignation crossing his face as he hadn't expected Evelyn to disrupt his plan at that moment.

"I feel like James and I've just met. We should start as friends first," Sarah hesitated for a moment before softly stating.

"That's right, you two have just met today. It's better to start as friends first," Paul chuckled and playfully nudged James. "James, come on. Hurry up and add Sarah on Facebook so you can learn more about each other in the future."

Upon hearing Paul's words, Sarah didn't object. Instead, she elegantly took out her phone from her Gucci bag and opened Facebook.

Seeing Sarah's action, James hesitated for a moment before retrieving his phone.

At this point, James had a favorable impression of Sarah. After all, Sarah's figure and appearance far surpassed Jennifer's. She might not be on the level of Laura's extraordinary, but Laura showed no interest in James. Knowing this, James saw no the point in fixating on one woman. Therefore, he took out his phone to friend Sarah on Facebook.

After adding Sarah to Facebook, James planned to disclose his modest financial status to her and gauge her reaction. If Sarah still wanted to pursue a relationship, James wouldn't mind getting to know her better. On the other hand, if Sarah despised his humble status, James wouldn't waste his time on such a woman.

"James, what a surprise!" Just as James was about to add Sarah to Facebook, a girl suddenly approached him and sneered.

Startled by the mocking voice, James paused and turned to look behind him, where he spotted his ex-girlfriend Jennifer, accompanied by Michael, Ashley, Sandra, and others.

"Jennifer, what are you doing here?" Paul, realizing that something was amiss with Jennifer's sudden appearance, stepped forward quickly and called out.

"Paul, what do you mean? You can come here to have fun, and so can we." Jennifer sneered dismissively.

"This booth is ours, and we don't welcome you right now. Please leave immediately!" Understanding that Jennifer's presence was meant to disrupt his plan, Paul wanted to escort Jennifer away as soon as possible.

"Paul, we're all classmates. You don't have to be so petty," Michael spoke up with a smile.

"Yeah, why are you so eager to shoo us away? Do you feel guilty?" Sandra chimed in, standing up next to Michael.

Sarah, Evelyn, and Lori appeared puzzled by the sudden arrival of Jennifer and her group, unaware of their connection to James.
