Chapter 153 Isabella, Let's Settle Things at Home

Isabella glanced at the untouched glass in front of her and touched her nose. "Once we finish this, that's enough. Hangovers aren't pleasant, you know."

"Don't worry, I'm not drunk. A little bit of alcohol like this can't bring me down," Brittany replied confidently, pushing herself up from the table unsteadily.

"Come, let's go to the dance floor, let's go, go, go..."

Sebastian entered the bar with a strong presence. At first glance, he spotted Isabella swaying and dancing to the music, lost in her own world.

The overlapping lights illuminated her, adding a hint of ambiguity. With her messy hair, Isabella bounced and jumped along with the music, enjoying herself with Brittany.

Her seductive and sexy dance moves were one thing, but on such a large dance floor, it couldn't be just the two of them.

There were several other men nearby, eyeing them hungrily, with dyed colorful hair, occasionally getting closer, trying to make a move.

The DJ on stage shouted something, and everyone in the bar went wild.
Sebastian's face turned green. He walked straight towards them, cutting through the crowd and firmly grasping Isabella's wrist, grinding his teeth.

"Isabella!"

Isabella was enjoying herself, completely lost in the moment with Brittany. Suddenly, her wrist was grabbed, and she frowned in displeasure.

"Who..."

But when she saw Sebastian's face, she froze. The music was too loud for her to hear what Sebastian said, but his infuriated expression said it all.

Why did he come here?

Wasn't he supposed to be with Lynda tonight?

With just one phone call, he abandoned her in the car, disregarding his own words of wanting to reconcile, leaving her alone, heading straight for Lynda.

Sebastian held onto her wrist with force, almost crushing her bones, forcefully dragging her out of the bar.

Although Brittany was quite drunk, she still had some awareness left. She chased after them and grabbed Isabella's other hand.

"Hey... What are you doing? She's with me tonight, we're having fun together. Why... Why are you causing a scene?"

"You can never be alone with her again!"

"You really are just like Joshua, selfish, domineering, and unreasonable," Brittany pointed at him.

"We... We're just having a drink, dancing. What's wrong with that? It's reasonable and legal."

Sebastian gave her a cold glance. "Brittany, you're drunk."

"I'm not."

"Joshua will be here soon." He let go of Brittany's hand. "Just wait!"

But Brittany, like an octopus, quickly latched onto him. "No one can come between us! No one can take Isabella away! If she leaves, who will accompany me for drinks? Who... who will dance with me?"
Seeing Brittany like this, Sebastian sighed deeply.

He glanced at Isabella. But the lighting was dim, and he couldn't see anything.

Isabella felt that she should say something. After thinking for a moment, she took a breath and was about to speak when Joshua suddenly appeared out of nowhere and pulled Brittany to stand in front of him.

"Brittany," she could only say anxiously, "You... ah!"

Sebastian directly lifted Isabella away.

Her head down, feet up, and blood rushing, she couldn't see anything and could only scream uncontrollably.

With a loud smack, Sebastian heavily slapped her backside.

"Behave, Isabella. We'll settle things when we get home!"

Smelling the strong scent of alcohol from Brittany's mouth, instinctively, he also thought that Isabella had drunk a lot and was also intoxicated.

Isabella wanted to check on Brittany, but unfortunately, Sebastian carried her faster and faster.

As they walked out of the bar, a slightly warm summer breeze blew, making Isabella's head spin and her stomach churn, making her feel like throwing up.

"Sebastian, put me down... you... stop!" she pleaded.

Ignoring her completely, he walked straight to the car.

Someone was already there, opening the car door for him.

"Sebastian, you... ah!"

Isabella was thrown into the car, falling onto the seat in a mess, seeing stars before her eyes.

"Drinking?" Sebastian stood by the car door, looking at her sternly. "Very well!"

"I haven't..."

Isabella had intended to say that she hadn't had any alcohol, but as soon as she opened her mouth, her stomach churned, and she didn't have a chance to finish her sentence before she turned over and leaned over the edge of the seat and vomited.
Inside the luxurious car, a strong smell filled the air.

Sebastian's face turned as dark as ink.

In reality, Isabella was retching. She had already vomited most of the food she ate at Willow Brook Estate.

After coming to the bar, she hadn't even had anything to drink, just a few snacks.

"Is it nothing to you when you're this drunk?" Sebastian asked.

"Have you forgotten your identity?"

He slammed the car door heavily, got into the driver's seat, disregarding her entirely, and stepped on the gas.

Isabella almost tumbled out of the car.

She wanted to sit up, but Sebastian was driving the car recklessly, swerving, overtaking, honking the horn, and braking abruptly. As soon as she managed to sit up, she was thrown back heavily.

It was a luxury car, and no one dared to touch it casually, so the road was clear for Sebastian all the way.

But Isabella was the one suffering behind.

"Sebastian!" she yelled loudly in discomfort.

"Can't you be a bit more normal, listen to me finish what I have to say..."

The response she received was just two words --

"Shut up!"

It felt like an eternity to Isabella before the car finally came to a stop. Her head was spinning so much that even getting out of the car was difficult, let alone standing up.

This dizziness was not something an ordinary person could endure.

At that moment, Isabella couldn't care less about how Brittany was doing. She could barely take care of herself.

Sebastian forcefully slammed the car door shut before coming to find her in the back seat.

"Get out," he said. "Quickly!"

Isabella mustered the last of her strength and clumsily stepped out of the car.

Only when her feet touched the solid ground did she start to feel a little grounded. However, she still needed something to hold onto in order to steady herself.

In Sebastian's eyes, her appearance resembled that of a drunkard.

Flushed cheeks, messy hair, dazed eyes, stumbling and swaying, she looked like she had lost all sense of time and place... If not drunk, then what?

In reality, Isabella was just feeling dizzy and nauseous.

Just as Sebastian reached out to touch her, she avoided him, turned her body, bent over, and began retching beside the car.

The butler rushed over upon hearing the sound but didn't know what to say when he saw the situation.

"Th-this... M-Mr. Lawrence..."

"Go back," Sebastian crossed his arms and said coldly, "No matter what you hear, do not show yourself!"

The butler could only obey and leave.

Isabella retched for a while before finally stopping. She had no energy left in her body, so she simply sat down on the ground.
