Chapter 159 I Can Help You Deal with Lynda

"Don't get angry, you have a heart condition. If you have a heart attack later and can't catch your breath, leaving me with all the anger, I'll have to attend your funeral. Lynda, don't think you're invincible just because you saved Bob!"

"Fine, Isabella, I'll tell you today that you will never get Sebastian unless I die."

"I'm looking forward to it." Isabella not only wasn't angry but also laughed.

"Oh, by the way, I just remembered why you wanted to see me. It's because you feel uneasy, right?"

"What do I have to feel uneasy about? I am the one Sebastian loves the most!"

"Because last night, he came to me and left you, who had just had a panic attack. If he really loved you so firmly, why would he come to me? Besides, it wasn't a big deal for me to go out for a drink, yet he seemed so anxious."

As Isabella continued to smile, Lynda's face grew paler.

"Alright, I won't say more to avoid triggering your heart condition."

Isabella stood up, turned to leave, but then thought of something.

"Do you have your medicine? Or should I call an ambulance for you?"

Lynda swept everything off the table, making a mess with the sound of things shattering. "Isabella, just you wait!"

"I've been waiting all along. We've been at odds since you pretended to plead for Bob. And even if I don't confront you, sooner or later, you will come after me."

Lynda stared at her, her face pale, and her lips trembling.

"Tsk tsk, if Sebastian saw you like this, I wonder how heartbroken he would be." Isabella said.

"If he rushed over now, it would only take him ten minutes. Should I tell him that I bullied you?"

"Don't be too proud."

"You're not an easy target, but if I don't act arrogantly, I'll only be bullied by you."

Lynda replied, "I haven't done anything to you yet, saving Bob doesn't count as much."

"But you have declared war against me. Besides, the Watson family's situation has caused a lot of commotion in New York. You dared to show up and be so bold with your methods and courage. Quite impressive."
Saying that, Isabella turned her head and looked at the waiter. "How much for the broken items? I'll pay the full price."

"Alright..."

"Do I need to compensate you?" Lynda spoke up.

"Isabella, if you don't act so arrogantly towards me, maybe I'll let you live a good life. But now, it seems like you're asking for a death wish!"

"Don't be so arrogant. After all, you have this illness. What if one day you suddenly pass away? Meanwhile, I will live much longer than you."

The waiter pressed some buttons on the computer and finally said, "Including the cost of coffee and tea, the total is 5,637."

Isabella took out her wallet.

Lynda said, "This money...a black card?"

Her eyes blinked as she stared at Isabella's fingertips pinching the card.

"Interesting observation, Lynda," Isabella said. "You managed to recognize all the black cards that Sebastian gave me."

"He gave you all the black cards?" Lynda asked in surprise.

Isabella chuckled and covered her mouth.

"That's quite an assumption. He has given me many things, and you seem to have seen everything. Anyway, consider this my treat. Take care now."

Lynda slumped into her chair.

The waiter asked, "Miss, are you alright?"

Lynda picked up her bag and stormed out angrily.

It seemed that Isabella was proving to be more difficult to handle than Lynda had imagined.

Isabella walked towards the Lawrence Group, recalling Lynda's words and shaking her head in frustration.

As she was about to reach the Lawrence Group building, a wheelchair suddenly appeared in front of her.

"Anthony?" Isabella unconsciously called out his name, but then realized it wasn't appropriate.

She quickly corrected herself, "Brother-in-law, long time no see."

"It's working hours... why aren't you at the office?" Anthony asked.

"I... I went to buy something," Isabella calmly replied, "I was just about to go back to the company."

Anthony chuckled lightly, looking quite gentle. "Is that so?"

"Yes..." Isabella continued without batting an eye.

"And yet I saw those under my brother's command being so useless. They made you personally come for such a small matter," he commented.

"I... I prefer doing it myself," Isabella answered.

"But I just saw you coming out of the coffee shop," Anthony continued.

Isabella didn't need to lie anymore.

She remembered Sebastian's warning about him being seemingly low-key and indifferent but not to be underestimated.

"If you've seen it, then there's no need to ask. You're just trying to amuse yourself," Isabella said. "So, did you come here specifically to find me?"

"No, it was a coincidence," he replied.

Yeah, right.

Isabella realized that the Lawrence men were all quite inscrutable.

Anthony must have seen her and Lynda sitting face to face in the coffee shop, and who knows... he might have even overheard their conversation.

"Well, if there's nothing else, I should head back to work." Isabella smiled. "There's still a lot of that I have to do."

Anthony calmly sat in his wheelchair.

"I mean no harm, and I won't try to harm you or... use you."
"Of course, we're family, big brother."

"You're a smart person, Isabella," he said. "With Lynda's return, she poses a significant threat to you."

"No, not at all."

"Sebastian and I have a stable relationship, and we are now planning to have a child. As for Lynda... it's nothing, I'm already...”

"I am here to help you."

Anthony directly stated his intention, he probably couldn't stand listening to her lying here anymore.

Isabella's expression stiffened, but quickly returned to normal.

"What are you talking about? I don't quite understand."

"I can help you deal with Lynda," Anthony said, "prevent her from finding an opportunity to destroy your marriage with Sebastian."

When the conversation had come to this point, there was no point in pretending to be ignorant.

Isabella looked at him, "Why would you help me?"

"Because you are more suitable than Lynda."

"Just that?"

"Yes," Anthony nodded, "Sebastian is the pillar of the Lawrence family. He cannot marry Lynda, who has a congenital heart disease and is likely to pass it on to the next generation."

"In other words, you thinking of the Lawrence family and the Lawrence Group."

"Yes," he said, "and also for Sebastian and you."

Isabella paused for a few seconds and asked, "Is it really just like that?"

She always felt that Anthony had other motives.

Because Sebastian was guarded against him, and she was confident in her judgment of Sebastian, subconsciously putting Anthony in the position of an opponent.

Anthony smiled, "Otherwise, little sister-in-law, do you think I have any other motives?"
