Chapter 311 Try Spitting Again If You Dared
She wanted to ask him what he wanted to do.
The next second, Sebastian pushed her away and pinched her chin. His eyes locked onto hers, and his warm breath sprayed on her face.
Isabella wanted to escape desperately, but she heard him speak in a hushed tone, "I warned you, if you refuse to love me, I will tear out your heart. If you dare to flee from me, I will break your legs. Do you remember?"
As he spoke, his hand grazed Isabella's chest, from her chest to her legs.
Isabella trembled uncontrollably. She remembered those words and hadn't forgotten them.
Back then, she found it terrifying, and now, needless to say, it was even more dreadful.
"Of course, I can't dig out your heart, so I can only torment you." Sebastian caressed her chin. "I can't break your legs, so I'll find a way to make sure you can't run. Isabella, I've warned you, you must love me, but you defied me. You chose to deceive me."
Isabella wanted to retort.
But now, she was too tired and in pain and couldn't even say another word.
Looking at Isabella's pained expression, Sebastian, who had been tormented by her indifference finally found some relief.
However, another kind of pain emerged. He felt sorry for her.
He tortured her and made her share the pain with him, but now she was truly in pain, he felt sorry and reluctant.
Such a contradictory state of mind.
Sebastian let go of Isabella's chin, and looked away, no longer at her. "Get out of the car."
Without hesitation, Isabella pushed open the car door and got off quickly.
But as soon as she got out of the car, the nausea that she had been holding came back. She couldn't bear it for a moment, bent over, and retched repeatedly on the side of the road.
In the car, Sebastian's gaze followed her. Looking at her like this, his handsome face instantly turned sullen.
He grabbed a few tissues and walked quickly toward her.
Behind Isabella, he grabbed her collar, forcibly straightened her bent waist, and wiped away the dirt from the corner of her mouth with a frown.
"I'm clean, and I haven't done anything like cheating in the marriage," Sebastian said with a cold face as he cleaned up Isabella, "So, go ahead and try to vomit again, I don't mind cleaning you up properly after we return to Willowbrook Estate."
After hearing his words, Isabella timely vomited again.
But she couldn't vomit anything anymore. All that surged up in her stomach now was acid water.
Sebastian couldn't dodge it in time, and it splashed onto the back of his hand.
"Isabella!" His voice was full of anger.
Sebastian wasn't disgusted by the dirt. What annoyed him was Isabella's attitude.
The body's true reaction was something that could never deceived. Isabella thought him dirty and disgusting!
And she never believed his explanations or words.
He said he liked her, but she didn't believe it; he said he hadn't cheated in the marriage, and she still didn't believe it.
What did she believe? She believed that he loved Lynda and that he only used her to have children!
Sebastian's face was gloomy.
With a cold, mocking tone, he said, "I have told everything to you just now. Don't you know whether I have cheated or not?"
Upon Sebastian's words, Isabella paused in surprise.
"What... what?" She was a bit dozy, looked up, and met Sebastian's gaze.
This word seemed somewhat unfamiliar, yet strangely familiar!
Isabella pondered for a while before belatedly grasping its meaning.
She awkwardly lowered her head.
To be honest, Isabella believed it. Proven multiple times in the past, his words might be true
However, she felt repulsed!
If they hadn't made love last night, did Sebastian and Lynda spend the entire night merely conversing in a hotel room alone? Was Sebastian truly that naive? Was Lynda's heart condition so severe that nothing else could occur?
Isabella frowned. What was she thinking of?
Whether Sebastian was faithful or not, it mattered nothing to her!
Isabella once again covered her mouth, feeling the urge to vomit.
A surge of nameless fury rose in Sebastian's chest. He squinted his eyes and said, "Isabella, what I explained to you is the truth. Who gave you the audacity to behave recklessly in my presence?"
Isabella's stomach felt hollow, and her body was weak.
She remained speechless. She couldn't even control her urge to vomit!
She was having a double whammy of morning sickness and nausea.
Nevertheless, Isabella found the act of vomiting rather liberating.
As she observed Sebastian's annoyance at dirt, she felt a sense of satisfaction.
Of course, Isabella would not show it.
To conserve her energy, Isabella chose not to engage in a futile argument with Sebastian, because she knew that he would not listen no matter how much she said.
She truthfully replied, "Mr. Lawrence, the one behaving recklessly is not me, but your child. As for who let your child mistreat me, leading to me vomiting on you, that question should be directed at you."
"You truly remain as articulate as ever," Sebastian sneered coldly. "If you call me despicable, what does that make you, who served a despicable person?"
Isabella paused for a few seconds, earnestly considering the question. She chuckled self-deprecatingly and replied, "Perhaps, nothing at all."
Sebastian suddenly clasped his hands.
He couldn't deceive himself. He did not want to hear such a response that she depreciated herself.
After a brief pause, he brushed off his hands and sneered. "Should I say we are a perfect match? Or should I commend you for your self-awareness?"
"Your call." Isabella adjusted her breathing, meeting Sebastian's gaze head-on. "I have complied with your requests, so don't go back on your word. Don't lay a finger on Nancy. Furthermore, Sebastian, why did you take me to the nursing home?" Isabella looked at Sebastian warily.
Sebastian artfully arched the soiled tissue in his hand as he tossed it into the bin, then glanced at her. "I have mentioned before, it is to ensure that you dare not divorce, nor harbor thoughts of leaving."
He lightly tugged at the corner of his mouth. "Do you think I'm just talking?"
Isabella felt puzzled. Why didn't Sebastian agree to a divorce?
Wouldn't it be better for them to part ways?
She truly did not wish to continue this marriage any longer.
He already had the child he desired, and his initial objectives had been fulfilled.
"Why exactly are you refusing to divorce? Are you willing to let Lynda continue to be labeled as your mistress?" Isabella asked him wearily.
Sebastian's slightly subdued anger was instantly reignited.
The words "divorce" had now unmistakably become his no-go zone.
Did Isabella want to leave after toying with his emotions all along?
He pinched Isabella's cheek and tugged it twice. "I haven't done playing yet, so no divorce. Haven't I made that clear to you?"
Gazing into Isabella's fiery eyes, Sebastian smirked coldly, clasping her wrist firmly and pulling her closer. "Let's go. How could the joyous news of pregnancy be just for Edward to share? Nancy must be informed as well."
