Chapter 314 How about Getting Your Sister into the Wallace Group

Isabella's answer, of course, was no.
She replied, "Of course not. To ruin my whole life for someone irrelevant is not worth it."
Even though Sebastian was ruthless, he couldn't handle Isabella's declarations of not loving him, having no connection to him, and that he was not worth it.. His face turned gloomy, filled with a desire to tear Isabella apart. He even vaguely regretted exposing Isabella's disguise. Now, he was more displeased than watching her act.
The temperature in the carriage suddenly dropped.
Isabella knew Sebastian was angry, but what did that have to do with her?
She sneered, "By the way," Isabella's curled eyelashes trembled, and she turned to the side. "You violated our agreement, reducing me to your mere plaything. Don't you think I'm owed some compensation?"
During the red light, Sebastian's cold eyes swept over Isabella. "What do you want?"
Isabella didn't want anything from Sebastian. She wanted to leave him, to end this mistaken marriage, and no longer suffer the pain of love.
Unfortunately... she couldn't leave.
So, she had to plan for herself and make herself stronger.
"The Wallace family is mine. I don't want anyone else to take it. I want to get into the Wallace Group, and I want to take back everything that belongs to me," Isabella said clearly and concisely, stating her demands.
Seeing Isabella's desire and understanding her intentions, Sebastian mocked, "Sorry, the fact that you are my plaything is an order, not something for you to use as leverage."
"Thanks to your reminder, I've thought of a good way to punish you for deceiving me. Your unwillingness to divorce is one thing, but my punishment is another." Sebastian's slender fingers pointed at the steering wheel, and as soon as the red light passed, he accelerated.
Isabella's right eyelid twitched uneasily. "What... what do you want to do?"
"Get your sister into the Wallace Group. How about that?"
The tension in Isabella's mind completely snapped.
"Sebastian, how can there be such a despicable man like you in this world?" She clenched her hand tightly, her knuckles turning white. She kept breathing heavily, feeling the sorrow.
Isabella forced a smile and said, "It's up to you, but Sebastian, you will face retribution. Sooner or later, someone will make you feel the agony of having your heart torn apart."
"Retribution? Ridiculous." Sebastian suddenly slammed on the brakes, not looking at her. "Get out."
Perfect!
Isabella couldn't stand to stay a second longer. She opened the car door, got out immediately, and walked away without looking back.
Sebastian watched her figure through the rearview mirror. She was wearing a black dress, and the breeze blew her skirt, revealing her slender and beautiful legs. The force on her legs showed that she was definitely angry.
Sebastian's Adam's apple rolled up and down as he suppressed the urge to turn around and bring Isabella back. He drove in the opposite direction.
As if there was a telepathic connection, Isabella turned her head and looked back, but all she saw was the taillights of Sebastian's car.
Isabella's actions were beyond her control.
After turning her head, she smiled calmly and cursed, "Isabella, you are truly despicable. How dare you still have hope? You deserve to be bullied."
The passersby nearby looked at her as if she were a fool.
Isabella lowered her head and quickened her pace.
Her stomach growled, and Isabella looked around. There were no restaurants nearby, and she was incredibly hungry. She entered a coffee shop and ordered a cup of hot milk and a sandwich.
In the morning, the coffee shop was almost empty, with few staff, so the service was quick.
Isabella, who was famished, felt the warm milk flowing down her throat and gathering in her stomach, relieving the hunger pangs. Under the sunlight and the sound of music, she took a bite of the sandwich and a sip of milk, temporarily putting aside all the annoying disturbances and enjoying a moment of peace.
Isabella felt a bit tired from eating. She rested her arms on the table, propped her chin on her arms, and watched the constant flow of people and cars outside.
However, the brief moment of peace was quickly interrupted. A shadow fell over her as someone appeared in front of her. Then, the person bent down and tapped the table with their fingers, making a knocking sound.
Before Isabella could look up, a man's gentle voice sounded, "Isabella, let's talk."
"Jarod?" Isabella looked at him and sat up straight. At the same time, she looked puzzled at Jarod, who was sitting in a wheelchair opposite her. "What are you doing here?"
She sat upright, her back straight, her lips pressed tightly together, and her whole body exuded one word - vigilance.
Jarod calmly stated a fact, "I just got out of the sanatorium and happened to run into you."
So...
Isabella's face darkened, and she leaned back against the seat. "Were you stalking me?"
Instantly, a panic arose in Isabella's heart, and she instinctively wanted to keep her distance from him.
Jarod was never an ordinary person, even if he was disabled.
Jarod smiled faintly and said, "It's not really stalking. I just happened to come across your car, happened to take the same way, and coincidentally saw you and Sebastian having a conflict."
Was it that simple? Isabella didn't believe it.
Sebastian had told her too many times that Jarod was far from the calm and gentle man he appeared but a cunning and ruthless character.
She immediately remembered that not long ago, Jarod had even arranged for Joshua to bring her to the Lawrence family and fabricate a kidnapping incident!
Isabella would never believe Jarod's one-sided words. These two brothers from the Lawrence family were terrifying, and she didn't want to have anything to do with them.
Isabella's scalp tingled. "Jarod, your grievances with Sebastian have nothing to do with me. I don't understand anything about the Lawrence Group. Even if I divorce him, I will leave with nothing. There is nothing for us to talk about."
As she spoke, Isabella paused for a few seconds, then gestured to the waiter to settle the bill and leave.
But at that moment, she heard Jarod chuckle softly, and his deep voice followed, "Sis, let's talk about you and Sebastian, shall we?"
Isabella's body tensed, and her tone turned cold and indifferent as she said, "Then there's even less left to talk about."
She had completely fallen out with Sebastian, and she had to maintain her composure in front of Jarod.
At that moment, the waiter approached Isabella and scanned the payment code. The waiter scanned the code and flashed a sweet smile, "Welcome back next time."
Isabella took the receipt and nodded.
After the waiter left, Isabella, maintaining basic courtesy, smiled at Jarod, "Enjoy your meal, Jarod."
She propped her hands on the table, preparing to stand up.
"Let's sit down and talk. Both of you are hurting each other. When will it end?" Jarod didn't seem to mind Isabella's rudeness. He raised his head and locked eyes with her.
