Chapter 463 I need to go out now, move aside.

She cheated, and he was actually willing to forgive her.

"Sebastian, are you for real?" Isabella pushed him away, not even a bit moved, just finding it all ridiculous. "Stop lying to yourself."

"Lying to myself?" It felt like a crack opened in Sebastian's heart, letting in a cold wind. "Is that what you think?"

"Yes." Isabella nodded. "Handling Lynda by the law is the right thing to do. It should've been done from the start! I have nothing with Samuel. I've said it a million times, but you never believe me."

Isabella smiled. "We can't go back to how things were. I don't want to argue or fight with you. I want a divorce."

Did they ever have a past?

All the sweetness from before was built on lies, deceit, and her grievances and concessions!

"Divorce?" Sebastian couldn't believe that his concessions would lead to Isabella asking for a divorce.

There was no warmth left in his eyes.

At this moment, he was truly cold and heartless.

Enduring the tearing pain, he grabbed Isabella's chin, staring at her without blinking. "You cheated, and I have solid evidence. Can you deny it? A woman who cheats in marriage doesn't have right to ask for a divorce? Do you want to be with Samuel?"

Sebastian flung Isabella away. "Don't even think about it!"

He curled his lips, bent down, and whispered in Isabella's ear, "I've already conceded enough. Since you won't back down, fine. I'll save Lynda, and I'll slowly torment Samuel."

Sebastian's breath brushed against Isabella's ear, causing goosebumps to rise on half of her face.

Isabella loathed herself for her reflexive reaction to Sebastian.

She bit her lip as if punishing herself, then turned her face, gritting her teeth, and cursed, "Sebastian, how can there be such a terrifying and disgusting man like you in the world! You're so self-righteous! You probably will never self-reflect! You'll get your comeuppance!"

Sebastian's gaze was as cold as Isabella's. He sneered, "Just now, I reflected, I stepped back, what did I get?"

"Isabella," he called her name and continued, "Stop joking. I have power and influence; retribution won't come to me."

Isabella felt deeply powerless.

She gritted her teeth, wishing she could bite through Sebastian's carotid artery.

She thought, 'There truly is no one worse than Sebastian in this world!'

She closed her eyes and said indifferently, "Whether you release Lynda or not, it's up to you. Anyway, you don't really want to punish her; you just follow your own thoughts."

"But Samuel is innocent and got involved because of me. Please, Mr. Lawrence, show some mercy." Isabella changed her tone, took a deep breath, and met Sebastian's angry eyes. "Of course, if Mr. Lawrence likes to create trouble for yourself, go ahead."

Sebastian straightened up, withdrew his gaze coldly, and no longer responded to Isabella.

He strode away, leaving Isabella with a heartless back.

The door closed.

Isabella stared at the closed door, glaring fiercely.

In the bathroom, only Isabella was left.

Isabella no longer needed to pretend to be strong. She retracted her fierce gaze.

Her face was pale as she stood under the showerhead, tilting her head back, letting the water wash over her.

She thought, 'Sebastian, how can you be so bad?'

This time, Isabella really saw Sebastian for who he was.

She had to get a divorce and leave him.

No matter what it took.

Originally, Isabella wanted to tell Sebastian she knew the truth about that rainy night. Now, she thought, 'There's no point in letting him know. If Sebastian finds out, he'll definitely try to apologize and fight even harder against the divorce.'

Isabella didn't need an apology. She needed a divorce, desperately.

This marriage wasn't worth saving.

So, let Sebastian misunderstand. She was too tired to explain. If the misunderstanding made him uncomfortable, even better.

But the whole thing with Samuel couldn't be left to Sebastian's misunderstanding.

Dragging an innocent person into this made Isabella feel guilty.

She couldn't think of a good solution. After mulling it over, she decided she needed to contact Samuel.

She thought, 'There should be surveillance cameras in his hallway, right? Once the footage is out, the truth will come out.'

Isabella washed her face, turned off the shower, put on a robe, and went out to find her phone.

Looking around, she patted her head.

She suddenly remembered she had left her phone at Samuel's Victorian House in Starlight Ridge.

Isabella was both annoyed and anxious.

She hurried to the walk-in closet and quickly changed her clothes, having to go out.

But as soon as she opened the bedroom door, she was met by several female bodyguards walking towards her.

The lead bodyguard respectfully said, "Ma'am, Mr. Lawrence said you need to rest."

Isabella was filled with hatred, saying angrily, "I know my own body. I don't need to rest."

"Move." She pushed the person blocking her way aside.

The bodyguard stood firm, repeating herself, "Ma'am, Mr. Lawrence said you need to rest."

Isabella had dealt with Sebastian's bodyguards before, but she never thought that whether male or female, they all had the same temperament.

"I also said, my body is fine!" Isabella snapped. "I need to go out now. Move!"

No matter how fierce Isabella's tone and attitude were, it was no use.

There was no way; force wouldn't work, so she had to use her wits!

Isabella quickly darted past the bodyguard.

"Ma'am, please return." Another bodyguard stepped in, blocking her path.

Immediately, a row of people stood in front of Isabella, forming a wall.

Several people, expressionless, said in unison, "Ma'am, please go back. Don't make it difficult for us."

They were all emotionless.

If Isabella stayed at Willowbrook Estate any longer, she would truly be driven mad.

Everyone wanted to drive her mad. From Sebastian to his subordinates.

With her hand loosely clenched at her side, Isabella pressed her lips, taking a deep breath, exhaling heavily, and her shoulders rose and fell.

Feeling slightly better, she turned around and went back to the bedroom.

She opened the door, walked a few steps inside, then stopped and stepped back.

Then, Isabella stood still, looked up, and searched for the surveillance camera. Once she found it, she raised her hand high and gave it the middle finger.

"Bastard! Bastard!" Isabella slowed her speech to ensure that if anyone was watching the surveillance, they could clearly see what she was saying.

She knew this was childish.
