Chapter 427 Go Get the Serenity Way Video

After saying that, she laughed, "Samuel, you gotta be kidding me, right?"

She thought, 'If Sebastian's handing over this evidence, doesn't that mean he's ready to take on Lynda?

'Why am I still here wasting time with Samuel?'

"Just give it a shot," Samuel's heart softened, his voice dropping to a comforting tone, "Maybe it'll work?

"Check Sebastian's phone, computer, emails, whatever. But we're on a tight schedule. Lynda and I are getting engaged in three days, and the invites are already out to everyone in Maple Valley."

"Three days?"

"Yeah."

Suddenly, the phone rang, cutting off their chat.

It was Sebastian calling.

Isabella's phone was on the table, and Samuel saw it.

He gave a gentlemanly nod to Isabella, showing he didn't mind.

But Isabella didn't pick up.

She opened her mouth to keep talking with Samuel, but a Facebook notification interrupted her again.

Isabella glanced at it; it was still from Sebastian: [Where are you]

He didn't even use a question mark. Did Sebastian go to the hotel?'

Isabella turned off the screen and shoved the phone in her pocket. She looked up, "Samuel, I'll find the evidence. Thanks for the heads-up. It's about time I head out."

"Catch you later," Samuel smiled. "Remember to drink more water. If you don't trust me, buy it yourself."

Isabella gave a faint smile. "Thanks."

Samuel kept smiling. "No problem, mutual benefit."

Isabella didn't say anything else and got up to leave.

Leaving the corner, Isabella headed downstairs.

At the stairway, she felt a strong gaze on her back, making her super uncomfortable.

Her head buzzed, her vision blurred, and her body's discomfort tormented her.

Isabella didn't look back and quickened her pace.

After she left, Samuel took a call and also left the small shop.

By the window, Sebastian sat there.

His face was stern, silent, and his vibe totally clashed with the cozy tea shop.

In fact, Sebastian was fuming, wanting to flip the table, with a strong urge to destroy.

No one knew how much he had to hold back just now to not rush forward and drag Isabella away.

Their relationship was too strained now, and before everything was clear, if he showed up in front of Isabella suddenly, it would only make things worse.

Sebastian held back.

But the scenes just now made him feel unfamiliar, angry, and uneasy.

This panic raged in Sebastian's heart.

Isabella's closeness with Samuel, Isabella's slight smile to Samuel, Samuel's infatuation in his eyes.

And, when Isabella saw his call, her instinctive rejection in her eyes, and her decisiveness in hanging up.

All of this deeply rattled Sebastian.

Sebastian was pulled back to reality by a notification sound. He looked down at his phone.

Isabella replied: [Having dinner out.]

Sebastian's face was blank. He asked: [Alone]

Still no punctuation, as if using this way to show his unease.

Unfortunately, Isabella didn't catch on: [Yes.]

Sebastian kept rereading the words Isabella sent.

He thought, 'Great, half of what she says is BS.

'She's been lying to me from the get-go.

'Samuel? Why the hell was she sitting with Samuel?'

Their voices were super low, so Sebastian didn't catch what they were talking about.

What were they talking about?

Sebastian's chest felt like it was gonna explode, anger burning so hot it hurt.

Brittany's words echoed in his head, "Isabella won't let the culprit go. If you don't help her, she'll find a way to save herself. Maybe she'll get someone else to help, and by then, it'll be too late."

Right then, a murderous look flashed in Sebastian's eyes.

He gripped his phone so tight his wrist bones popped, veins bulging.

He thought, 'Someone else, like Samuel?

'Isn't Samuel already engaged to Lynda?

'Have Isabella and Samuel only met this once in the past few days?'

With a million questions swirling, Sebastian's face turned dark.

He got up and walked out, his face ice-cold, dialing a number, "Check who my wife's been in contact with these days."

"And check Samuel's recent schedule." He clenched his fist, his tone even colder.

Isabella got back to the hotel.

No one was in the room; Sebastian hadn't shown up.

While she was out, Brittany had come back once, and now all of Brittany's stuff was gone.

On the coffee table in the living room, there was a note with Brittany's neat handwriting: [Isabella, thank you. I will adjust my mood. Don't worry about me, and you should cheer up soon.]

Isabella smiled lightly, finally feeling a bit relieved.

She had a quick lunch, then lay on the bed, thinking about Samuel's words, 'The video on Serenity Way, how could I get it?'

Isabella closed her eyes in frustration, thinking over and over, but couldn't come up with any ideas, finally pulling her hair in annoyance.

This was urgent! Super urgent.

Even if she had thirty days, she might not be able to get the video from Sebastian.

Isabella sighed deeply.

Then she pursed her lips, her expression serious.

This chance to take down Lynda, no matter how tough, she wouldn't give up!

Because this might be her only shot.

Isabella's expression turned bleak, her lips pulling into a bitter smile.

Isabella sat on the edge of the bed, looking at the clock on the wall, it was noon.

At this time, Sebastian shouldn't be at Willowbrook Estate.

With a bit of hope and excitement, Isabella decided to go back. She had to check the study, maybe the video was on the computer there.

Or, even if the Serenity Way video wasn't there, she might find other evidence?

After all, Sebastian must have a ton of evidence.

Thinking this, Isabella's blood pumped, her heart raced, and her body felt less crappy.

She decided to go right away!

Hurriedly, she went downstairs, hailed a cab.

Isabella was so lost in her thoughts she didn't notice the car tailing her.

Willowbrook Estate was quiet, the large manor seemed to be asleep, silent.

Usually, at this time, there was no movement here either.
