Chapter 82 Disrespecting the Lady of the Lawrence Family!
Bob screamed in pain, clutching the area and howling in agony, unable to recover.
Without delay, Sebastian delivered a swift kick, knocking Bob to the ground and stomping on his chest relentlessly.
Upon witnessing this, Bob’s friends hesitated, considering intervening to help.
"Who dares?" Sebastian coldly raised his gaze. "You want to help him? Let's see if you have the guts to protect yourselves."
Saying so, he released Isabella from his embrace, instructing her to stand aside, then grabbed Bob by his clothes and exited the elevator, commanding, "Everyone, come out!"
Finally, the elevator doors closed.
Sebastian threw Bob onto the floor. With two more kicks, Bob was rendered defenseless.
These people didn't know him, but witnessing his fierce demeanor, they were afraid of stirring up trouble.
Sebastian turned around, embracing Isabella once again.
She had stopped crying, but her eyes were as red as a rabbit's, melting Sebastian's heart while igniting his desire to tear that man apart!
"What happened?" He gently wiped the corner of her eye and asked, "Stop crying, take your time, and tell me slowly."
Isabella's voice was soft, slightly nasal. "I was waiting for the elevator when this Bob happened to pass by. He saw me and started harassing me, using offensive language. So, I argued back with him."
"Then, he said he wanted to take me somewhere to play and warned me that if I resisted, he would... right here. He didn't mind saying it. After that, he tore my clothes apart."
"I got scared and kept shouting for help, but I couldn't overpower him. Eventually, he dragged me into the elevator..."
After hearing her account, Sebastian’s anger surged like never before.
"How dare you lust after my woman," Sebastian glared at Bob on the ground, "How many lives do you think you have? Huh?"
Bob writhed in pain on the ground and shouted at his friends, "Quick, call an ambulance! He kicked me there. It might be ruined... Get a doctor!"
"A doctor?" Sebastian sneered, "Even if he's saved, it's useless. I think... I should just chop it off."
"Who the fuck are you! So arrogant! Just wait, once I recover, I'll make sure you suffer a gruesome death."
“Who’s the one suffering a gruesome death, that remains to be seen.”
Bob pointed at him, "Prove your identity, or you're just a nobody."
"You don't recognize me, it's no wonder you're so arrogant," Sebastian's lips curled slightly, a cruel glint revealed in his eyes as he uttered three words,
"I'm a Lawrence."
Lawrence!
As soon as this surname was mentioned, the group of Bob's friends froze!
In New York, regardless of being involved in legal or illegal activities, who didn't know the Lawrence family? Who wouldn't give them respect?
"I... I just realized that the name the woman shouted sounded familiar..." one of them trembled like a sieve, "I didn't expect, I didn't expect..."
“Yes, yes, Sebastian...”
The young master of the Lawrence family was in a wheelchair due to his disability. Bob had not expected this and his face turned as pale as paper. So, he had made advances on the Lady of the Lawrence family!
It was over!
“You...you are Sebastian!” Bob stammered, “I...I...I...this is the first time I’ve seen you...”
"It's alright," Sebastian replied calmly, "and it will be the last time you see me."
“You, I...I didn’t know she was your woman. Otherwise, I...I wouldn’t have...”
"It's alright," Sebastian repeated, "you will pay the price."
Bob immediately started pleading for mercy, losing his previous arrogance and no longer daring to confront Sebastian.
"I was wrong, Mr. Lawrence. I truly failed to see the big picture. Otherwise, even if I had a hundred times the courage, I wouldn't dare touch your wife... I truly apologize, please forgive me."
Sebastian remained silent.
Bob continued, “My name is Bob Watson...”
"Shut up," Sebastian interrupted, "I don't want to know your name."
"My father knows you, Mr. Lawrence. He's Watson, the one involved in export trade in New York. Do you remember?"
“Hmm,” Sebastian nodded.
Bob let out a sigh of relief.
"But," he asked, "what does that matter? Do you think I would spare you because of that?"
Bob's face turned several shades paler, "Mr. Lawrence, Mr. Lawrence, let's talk it out. I apologize to you and your wife, whatever you want. But, but how should I say it, nothing happened between us. I didn't do anything to her... it shouldn't have escalated to this point. Don't you think so?"
Isabella looked at Sebastian.
He had a gloomy expression, like the sky before a storm, with dark clouds and the constant rumble of thunder.
She had no idea how Sebastian would handle this situation. Bob seemed to be a person with influence.
Running an export trade company... it was not something an ordinary person could achieve. It required strong connections and background.
If Sebastian didn't want to take action against Bob because of this incident... it was not impossible.
Sebastian was a businessman who weighed the pros and cons. He would consider it, especially considering that she wasn't that important to him, not worth causing a big fuss over.
Her heart suddenly sank halfway.
"Sebastian," Isabella suddenly spoke up, looking up at him, "What...what do you intend to do?"
He pursed his lips and answered, “I will definitely give you a satisfactory outcome.”
"Really? Is it?"
Sebastian seemed to have detected the uncertainty and desolation in her heart. He lifted his hand and gently stroked her face. "Anyone who harms you deserves to die."
These words were like a balm for Isabella. In his heart, she was still important. He would protect her at all costs and ensure her safety.
Upon hearing this, Bob's legs gave way and he knelt down with a thud. Isabella stared at him, feeling his slightly calloused hand caressing her cheek, eliciting a soft gasp from her.
Sebastian immediately stopped and asked, "What's wrong?"
"It... it hurts," she replied. "It's a bit painful."
The gloom in Sebastian's eyes deepened. "Did he hit you?"
He quickly brushed aside her fallen hair, revealing her cheek with a faint red mark.
Clearly, Isabella had been slapped.
One of Bob's friends next to them spoke up, "Y-yes, Mr. Lawrence. It was all Bob's doing. We didn't intervene at all. He slapped your wife and dragged her into the elevator. We saw it with our own eyes."
Someone immediately chimed in, "That's right, Mr. Lawrence. It was all Bob's doing, nothing to do with us."
"Yeah, yeah, Mr. Lawrence. We'll leave now and not disturb you. You can handle this however you like..."
These individuals were already preparing to make their escape.
"Hold on." Sebastian spoke up. "While you didn't lay a hand on her, you also didn't lend a helping hand, did you?"
