Chapter 305 To the Extreme of Badness and Filthiness
Amber was so innocent. It was better for her to remain oblivious to the issues between her and Sebastian.
Although Isabella was aware that it would benefit her to do that with someone from the Lawrence family.
But, forget it. Amber was a good person, and Isabella wanted this young girl to live her life innocently and carefree forever.
"I need to go back to Willowbrook Estate to take my medication. The doctor prescribed some prenatal vitamins for me a few days ago, but I forgot to bring them. It's okay though," Isabella said as she ruffled Amber's hair, "Why did you wake up so early? You should go back to sleep. If you're not well-rested, you won't be able to perform well on set."
Amber, of course, didn't believe her. She refused to let go of Isabella's hand, biting her lip gently before looking up with pleading eyes.
"Isabella, I know you must have seen something bad, but could you please believe in Sebastian? He must have his reasons. He cares about you. Every time I mention you to him, he becomes different, softer, and happier," Amber's voice trembled as she spoke, "Since our mother, Melissa, passed away, he hasn't truly smiled. Please don't give up on him, okay?"
Isabella's forced smile gradually faded away. She embraced Amber, patting her on the back gently while maintaining a soft tone. "Amber, I'm glad to have met you. You must continue to shine brightly and be the most dazzling star, okay?"
After speaking, Isabella released Amber and turned to leave.
Amber stood in place, watching Isabella's retreating figure. Her nose tingled, and her eyes grew red. She shouted after Isabella, "I don't care! I only see you as my sister-in-law! I won't acknowledge anyone else!"
While shouting, Amber tried calling Sebastian, but he still didn't answer.
If he didn't pick up soon, it would be a disaster when Edward woke up.
But no matter how many times she dialed, there was no response. Amber's face tensed with anger as she continued to scroll through Facebook, and her mind was filled with worries.
The tabloid news about Sebastian was gone, thanks to the Lawrence Group's PR team acting swiftly. But what was the use? Isabella, who should have been kept in the dark, now had known.
Isabella kept walking. Amber's words warmed her heart slightly. However, she couldn't show anything.
In the end, she and Sebastian were not destined to be together.
A car slowly pulled up in front of her. Isabella opened the door, got in, and quickly told the driver, "Don't go to Willowbrook Estate."
The driver paused and said, "Mrs. Lawrence, can you please provide the address?"
Isabella gave the location and name of a hotel, saying, "Let's go."
It was still early, and the streets were sparsely populated. Isabella felt a strong sense of loneliness and solitude.
"Madam, we have arrived," the driver said.
Unconsciously, Isabella had reached the hotel. She smiled faintly and said with appreciation, "Alright, you can go back now. I don't need you here."
She got out of the car and walked toward the hotel step by step. Each step felt heavy. She even had the urge to run away, but she couldn't escape. She had to face the cruelest scene.
Isabella had willingly become a pawn, exchanging her child for the Wallaces' advancement and Nancy's life.
Even though she had initially acted out of emotion, she gradually retreated to where she belonged.
Sebastian had deceived her, toyed with her, and then delivered the final blow. He had forced her to stop being just a pawn and had even professed his love for her, and he had shattered the rules of the game that he had started.
Isabella surely had to fight for herself! She wanted a divorce and her child!
Inside the hotel, Isabella went to the reception to get the spare room key and headed straight to Room 4368.
Standing in front of the room, Isabella hesitated for a moment. She raised her hand and then lowered it, unsure of what to do.
After a while, she finally swiped the keycard.
With a click, Isabella turned the doorknob and pushed the door open.
As soon as she entered, her eyes fell upon a tangled mess of a tie and women's lingerie on the floor.
The tie was familiar to Isabella; it was the one she had used to blindfold Sebastian on his birthday.
Isabella almost lost her balance, and everything in her sight started to blur and sway.
She sniffled and looked up.
This was merely an ordinary suite, hardly befitting Sebastian's noble standing. No wonder Sharon's husband was able to acquire the room key.
However, it was precisely due to its ordinariness that with a mere glance, she could distinctly discern Sebastian and Lynda lying on the large bed.
Isabella could scarcely believe her eyes. She blinked desperately, trying to see more clearly.
However, the glaring scene in front of her only became clearer, revealing the harsh reality right in front of her.
Isabella's body trembled and her legs were weakened. She took several steps back.
At that moment, all her strength vanished, and the softest part of her heart ached.
The pain shattered all her rationality, and Isabella almost forgot that she had come to gather evidence, to film and catch them in the act.
She immediately opened the bathroom door, grabbed a basin, filled it with hot water, and without hesitation, splashed it onto the two people on the bed.
