Chapter 435 You Only Know How to Scheme and Bully Me

"Alright." Sebastian's voice was dripping with love and happiness.

Then, he picked up the pace.

Isabella looked down, her toes tapping the wall. She didn't glance at Sebastian, but she could see his arm moving fast from the corner of her eye.

No electric toothbrush in the hospital room, just a manual one. If he wanted to go fast, Sebastian had to hustle.

And when he hustled, it tugged at the wound on his chest.

She saw him pause for a sec and heard him gasp.

Then, Sebastian got back to it.

"Are you dumb?" Isabella snapped, suddenly looking up, ready to chew him out. But when she saw his smiling eyes, she frowned and couldn't say a word.

She just gritted her teeth. "I'm not in a rush, seriously. Take it easy."

"Okay." Sebastian replied, his eyes full of mischief.

He knew how to keep her close.

His speed gradually slowed down.

Isabella stared at him, her feelings all jumbled up.

She cared about him, his pain was her pain too.

The reason she frowned and spoke so harshly was because she didn't want to forgive Sebastian and let Lynda off the hook so easily.

When she woke up, Isabella knew that because of Betty's kindness to Moore and Sebastian hurting himself, she had to forgive and let Lynda go.

But she was still reluctant. It would be weird if she could speak gently to Sebastian.

But Isabella's reluctance was nothing compared to Sebastian's health.

She knew Sebastian was the most important, but she couldn't let go of the grudge in her heart.

Women, they were walking contradictions.

After a moment, Sebastian had finished brushing his teeth.

She handed him water with a slightly cold expression. After he rinsed his mouth, Isabella patted his waist. "Bend down, squat a bit."

Sebastian did as she said.

Isabella didn't look at him anymore. She washed her hands first, applied men's facial cleanser, rubbed it into a fine, smooth foam, and then reached out to apply it to Sebastian's face.

Sebastian kept staring at her, almost without blinking, his eyes full of sweet affection and deep love.

Isabella felt uncomfortable being stared at. "Close your eyes, the foam will get in."

Sebastian silently closed his eyes, obedient and honest, not like his usual self.

Isabella's heart softened continuously. She knew this side of her was weak, but what could she do?

With Sebastian's eyes closed, her gaze unknowingly became tender.

Her foam-covered fingers, mixed with water, gently brushed over Sebastian's face, from his forehead to his cheeks, his chin, and then the tip of his nose and the bridge of his nose.

Isabella didn't miss a single spot, her movements incredibly gentle.

Then, she turned on the faucet and rinsed off the foam for him.

After wiping his face, Sebastian opened his eyes. In the few minutes his eyes were closed, they had become bloodshot, and his gaze towards Isabella grew even more intense.

As for Isabella, she restrained her emotions, appearing calm and indifferent.

She then found the razor and shaved his beard.

After a night of wild growth, a layer of fine stubble had sprouted on Sebastian's chin, all prickly and rough.

The prickliness on her fingertips made her feel all tingly.

Just like Sebastian's intense gaze, it made Isabella's heart feel all itchy and uncomfortable.

After finishing up all the tasks, Isabella glanced at Sebastian. "You go out, I need to wash..."

Before Isabella could finish her sentence, a shadow loomed over her, blocking the overhead light.

Sebastian grabbed her wrist, pinned her against the sink, and kissed her lips, swallowing her words.

The kiss was hard and dominating, giving Isabella no chance to escape.

After that, Isabella glared at Sebastian. She looked tough on the outside but was all conflicted inside, unable to say anything.

Seeing his reddened eyes and the lack of security in them, she felt weak at that moment.

"I," Sebastian said hoarsely, "shouldn't have woken up, right?"

His tone was light, without any hint of accusation, just a simple question.

But to Isabella, it sounded like a tank firing at her, rumbling loudly.

It broke her heart, bringing tears to her eyes.

"Sebastian," Isabella sniffed, gritting her teeth as she called his name, angrily cursing him, "You're such a jerk! Do you think I can't tell? You did it on purpose!"

She kicked his calf. "You always manipulate me, tease me! Always trying to control me!"

Sebastian patted her head, pinched her cheek as usual. "Yeah, I'm a jerk. Alright, I won't push you. You wash up, I'll wait here. Okay?"

These familiar actions and tone completely tore apart Isabella's facade of indifference and calm.

She looked up, angrily saying, "You've already pushed me! Yesterday, you stabbed yourself to force me to forgive. And just now, you were pushing me too! Forcing me to show how much I care about you! But you won't give me time! How could I not want you to wake up?"

If it weren't for Sebastian's injury, Isabella would have punched him in the chest.

Now, her anger could only turn into a low growl, "I'm the last one who doesn't want you to wake up! Alright, now you know, are you relieved? I forgive you, I care for you, I'm just a fool. Knowing full well that these are all your tricks and traps, yet I jump in without hesitation!"

Sebastian's eyes turned red, as if they were about to burst into flames.

He kissed Isabella's lips again.

This time, he was extremely gentle, kissing sincerely, as if treating a precious treasure.

With a light touch, Sebastian's thin lips moved to the corner of Isabella's eye, kissing away the wetness there.

Isabella was once again captivated by him, effortlessly. Isabella closed her eyes, a tear slowly falling.

"Sebastian, don't do anything stupid like yesterday again. I can't handle it a second time," she said. "I was scared to death, my mind went blank. Now, thinking back, I can't even remember how I got to the hospital."

Sebastian's throat moved. He lifted his lips from her face, wiped away her tears, and hoarsely said, "Okay."

"And," Isabella continued, "don't hide anything from me again. This is really the last time. If it happens again, even if you die, I won't look back."
