Chapter 319 Could Someone Else Make You Feel Horny
Sebastian was initially furious and didn't think much of Isabella's actions. Now, the atmosphere had changed. Isabella's chest was pressing against his, her fair legs wrapped around his waist.
Sebastian's lower abdomen tightened. In summer, with clothes so scant and tight, Isabella could clearly feel Sebastian's unusual reaction. Isabella held her breath, then suddenly released her hands and legs, standing on the carpet.
Once on the ground, Isabella immediately lost her momentum. Sebastian stood in front of her, casting a shadow and exuding a compelling aura.
If she didn't run now, when would she?
However, just as she was about to run, Sebastian grabbed her shoulders, applying pressure. She couldn't resist his strength and was pushed back onto the bed.
"You..." Isabella raised her head to speak, but Sebastian pushed her shoulders, forcing her onto the bed.
Isabella didn't expect Sebastian to do this. She was caught off guard and easily pushed down. Her lower body hung off the bed while her upper body rested on it. The back of her head touched the bedsheet, and just a few centimeters away from her chest was Sebastian's broad chest.
Sebastian had propped himself up on his arms and leaned down, his dark eyes gazing at her intently.
Isabella didn't want to look at him, so she closed her eyes. But then she thought, closing her eyes in this situation, wouldn't it imply an invitation for a kiss?
Isabella abruptly opened her eyes again. When she did, she realized that the distance between Sebastian's face and hers had shortened to the point where they could feel each other's breath.
They locked eyes.
Isabella bit her lip, wanting to push him away. However, as soon as her hand touched Sebastian, he continued to move closer, narrowing the gap between them. Yet, their lips didn't touch.
Sebastian's nose brushed against hers, teasingly moving from side to side. Isabella sank into the soft bed, with the blanket beside her face and Sebastian's face above. In this small space they created, she had nowhere to escape.
She turned her face to the side, and Sebastian used his stubble to graze her cheek. The sensation tickled, and Isabella had no choice but to turn her face back. Sebastian's chin lightly brushed against her lips.
Lips, more sensitive than the face, immediately sent a jolt through Isabella as if an electric current passed from her lips. Her chest tightened, her breath grew hot, and her body stiffened.
She didn't know why Sebastian was teasing her like this, but it made her heart race. She felt uneasy. It was supposed to be a battle of resistance, so how did it turn into this?
Sebastian closely observed Isabella's expression throughout. Her eyes shimmered with moisture, but her face displayed only one thing, rejection, or perhaps indifference.
Her furrowed brows, clenched teeth, tense jawline, and rigid body all indicated her aversion towards him.
Sebastian felt a sharp pang in his chest as if a bucket of ice water had been poured over him.
"Is there someone else who can make you feel like that?" Sebastian mocked, "Just a touch on your face, and you're all infatuated."
Pierced by Sebastian's few words, Isabella's hazy eyes immediately regained clarity. "Who knows? Maybe I do have feelings for someone else," Isabella retorted, "I don't have any feelings for you, yet I still feel something, don't I?"
Sebastian was momentarily stunned. "Who?" he spoke in a low voice, "Marcus? Or someone else you've been involved with? Jarod doesn't seem interested in playing with you."
His chest heaved uncontrollably, consumed by overwhelming anger.
He cruelly grasped Isabella's chin, his tone escalating, "Who else can make you feel... Isabella, say it!"
"I have no idea. I never expected you to be so fickle, Isabella. You really surprise me,"
Isabella defiantly refused to utter a word. Sebastian's words were harsh. She simply wanted to preserve a shred of dignity. But he didn't understand and continued with even more hurtful words.
If she was fickle, what did that make him?
"It's my pleasure to surprise you," Isabella squeezed out a few words in response.
Sebastian clearly didn't anticipate such a reply from Isabella. After his initial shock, a cold snort escaped him. He forced a smile, but it was filled with self-mockery.
After a while, he said, "You really know how to disgust people."
Isabella couldn't grasp the deeper meaning behind his words.
Her mind was in a whirl, but her heart reacted with intense pain.
It hurt. Her heart broke.
But how had she mistreated him? Isabella recalled Jarod's words once again. Did he truly love her? Was he really fond of her? If it was true, how could she dare to believe it?
She asked, "Sebastian, have you been pushing me away? Have I been doing the same to you?"
Sebastian stared into Isabella's bewildered eyes, forcefully gripping her chin. "Even now, you still believe that it's all my fault, don't you?"
Isabella felt as if she had entered a fog, unable to see clearly or understand. But she answered based on her feelings, "Isn't it? Because of Lynda, you pretended to love me and then abandoned me at the gala. Later, you slept with Lynda..."
"Enough!" Sebastian released Isabella's chin, his hands clenched into fists, brimming with strength. "You never believed me, Isabella," Sebastian swallowed hard, his voice hoarse, "But I believed you."
Isabella furrowed her brows, her heart trembling, and she looked up in confusion, "Wh... what do you mean?"
Sebastian's pride wouldn't allow him to continue. He simply sneered, "Just remember, I haven't wronged you. All the punishment, you deserve it."
With those words, Sebastian stood up. Isabella was overcome with panic, her heart sinking.
In an instant, something she should have held onto slipped away from her grasp. Isabella sat up, watching Sebastian's retreating figure, and inexplicably reached out her hand, raising it high. Just as she was about to grab Sebastian's clothes, he took a step forward, and she grasped nothing but air.
The door closed with a bang, and Sebastian's figure vanished from Isabella's sight. Isabella's body trembled, and she quickly withdrew her hand, tightly holding onto it, pretending that nothing had happened just now.
She hung her head and sat there motionless, her hair loosely falling around her.
After a while, Isabella bent her arms, elbows resting on her knees, and covered her face with both hands. Sebastian had just said that she never trusted him. Was he accusing her of not believing in his feelings?
He also said that he trusted her now. Was he telling her that he believed she loved him?
Isabella felt confused. If that was the case, why did he abandon her so openly at the banquet?
Why did he threaten to torment her to make Lynda happy?
Why did he leave her and go to find Lynda?
Why did they go to a hotel room together?
Could it be that all of this was Sebastian's way of punishing her?
