Chapter 46 Sebastian, Get out Immediately!

Isabella nestled closer to him and said, "I miss my grandmother."

"I'll accompany you tomorrow to visit her," he replied.

"Okay."

The next day came and they arrived at the hospital.

Whenever Isabella sees stairs now, she would feel scared. Luckily, Sebastian has been holding her hand tightly, giving her a sense of security.

Coincidentally, the old lady is awake and in good spirits today. She ate about half a bowl of rice and vegetables.

Seeing Isabella, a smile suddenly appeared on her wrinkled face. "Our Isabella is here... Isabella, come over and let Grandma have a good look at you."

"Grandma."

The elderly lady, with her wrinkled hands, caressed Isabella's face, her eyes moist. "I've heard about everything that had happened at home these days. My precious Isabella, you've suffered."

"I'm fine, Grandma. I am happy as long as your are healthy."

"It's all my fault... sigh," Old Mrs. Wallace sighed, "if I hadn't fallen ill, you wouldn't have had to bow and kowtow to the Cooper family. But this misfortune may be a blessing in disguise, as it helped me see their true colors."

"Yes." Isabella wiped her teary eyes. "Look, now I've also found a good home."

She didn't dare tell her grandmother the truth.

Her grandmother has always cherished her, and if she knew that Isabella had agreed to a marriage of convenience with Sebastian for medical expenses and for the Wallace family's company, it would break her heart.

The elderly lady raised her eyes and finally looked at Sebastian, who was standing at the foot of the bed.

"Are you... you are Isabella's husband?"

"Yes, Grandma." Sebastian was mindful to be respectful towards his elders. "Please take good care of yourself in the hospital, I will take care of Isabella."

Grandma beckoned with her hand. "Come, grandson-in-law, come here."

Sebastian walked over, and bent down so that Old Mrs. Wallace could look at him directly.

Grandma took Isabella's hand and placed it in Sebastian's hand, gripping it tightly. "Our Isabella is a good girl, but she can be miserable at times. She likes to keeps everything in her heart, never speaking up, enduring everything for someone she loves. You must take good care of her, you must..."

"Grandma, you can be rest assured I will definitely take good care of her."

The elderly lady's gaze shifted between the two of them, before letting out a smile.
Isabella looked at their hands held together.

It was strange, it was only at this moment that she felt a sense of belonging that she truly got married and found a place that she belonged to.

She did not even had this feeling when she first received her marriage certificate.

Seeing her grandmother's daily and her progressing route to recovery, Isabella was genuinely happy. She sat by the bedside, talking with her grandmother.

Sebastian received a call and glanced at his phone screen before turning around to answer it outside.

Isabella didn't pay much attention to him.

Shortly after Sebastian left, the door of the ward suddenly opened again.

Judy and Sharon pushed the door open and entered. Judy cast a quick glance, then looked away, pretending not to have noticed anything.

Mr. Wallace followed them inside and glanced around the ward, asking, "Huh? Isn't Mr. Lawrence here?"

"Dad," Isabella spoke up, "did you come to visit Grandma or did you receive news that Sebastian is here and rushed over?"

"Both, both," Mr. Wallace couldn't hide his joy on his face. "Isabella, you really hit the jackpot. That document Mr. Lawrence asked you to give me last time was truly invaluable..."

"Then you should thank him."

"It's all thanks to you too. My daughter is amazing, being Mrs. Lawrence and all," Mr. Wallace said. "Also, after the news of your engagement with Mr. Lawrence broke out yesterday, all those collaborating companies and banks started reaching out to me."
