Chapter 18 Have You Had Enough Fun, Mrs. Lawrence
He didn't expect Isabella to say these words, and there was a hint of surprise in his expression.
"If our marriage is true and natural, I would like to say at this moment, it's okay, I will accompany you through thick and thin in the future... But I don't have the right to say that."
His boundless glory and overwhelming power were built upon countless unknown hardships and sacrifices.
She wasn't the woman who could see all of this, nor was she the woman who could soothe his pain.

Sebastian's eyes dimmed, "Isabella, what are you saying?"
"For the future, I hope there will be someone who will stay by your side till the end. Otherwise, it will be lonely for you at the top. Just how lonely would you be all by yourself?"
If there really is that "someone," it would be a good thing for Sebastian.
Sebastian suddenly raised his hand and forcefully pulled her into his arms, leaning in and passionately kissed her.
He didn't know why she would say such words, and she didn't understand why he suddenly had the urge to kiss her.
This kiss, compared to before...carried a hint of tenderness. Isabella was on the verge of succumbing, truly.
She could really feel his breath and his scent, even he was afraid that her back leaning against the wall would hurt and he carefully cushioned it for her.
"Brother, have you found my sister-in-law...?"
Amber's voice suddenly sounded, and then abruptly paused.

"Did it hurt?"
"Not really..."
"Then it's fine," Sebastian said, "Let's go, to the dinning hall. Do you want everyone to wait for just the two of us?"
Isabella pouted, looking incredibly cute, "And you still have the nerve to say that. In broad daylight..."
"It's clearly you who delayed here..."
He couldn't help but raise his hand and pinch it. "It's because Mrs. Lawrence took too long in the restroom, I was worried, so I came to look for her and that's why we were delayed."
"Okay, okay, it's my fault. What did Amber see just now..."
"She didn't dare say." Sebastian led Isabella to sit down, looking calm as usual, without any embarrassment of being caught by someone. Isabella felt embarrassed to look at Amber. But Amber kept giving her meaningful glances and smiled meaningfully:
"Brother and sister-in-law have such a good relationship, I can tell that this little nephew is determined."
"Hmm," Sebastian calmly responded,
"Remember to give a big red envelope."
"Brother, you always talk about money all the time; how vulgar! Are you lacking money?"
"I'm not lacking any money but it's all for your sister-in-law." "Oh...showing off your love like this," Amber covered his mouth and laughed.
"From now on, we'll have to eat the dog food from brother and sister-in-law every day."
“You should hurry up yourself,” Old Master Bo pointed at her. “Always giggling around with no serious intentions.”
“Big brother hasn’t even gotten married yet; Grandfather shouldn’t rush me either. How can I possibly get ahead of big brother…”
Bo Sisu spoke up: “Don’t wait for me anymore. I don’t plan on getting married anymore.
“Isabella you’re still young with outstanding qualities in every aspect; make sure to keep your eyes open when finding someone.”
The atmosphere changed slightly. Isabella cautiously glanced at Bo Sisu before quickly shifting her gaze away.
This eldest son of the Lawrence family...he really is mysterious and low-key; why doesn't he plan on getting married at such a young age? Is it because of his disability and insecurity?
But with Bo Sisu's background and conditions, there would never be a shortage of women around him to choose from!
When they were leaving, Old Master Bo personally saw them off and said:
"Daughter-in-law, if you ever encounter any grievances or if Sebastian does anything wrong, just come and tell me. Grandfather will stand up for you and make sure he behaves."
"Okay, Grandfather. If my husband and I have time, we'll come visit you. Take care of your health." This made the old master smile brightly.
As soon as they got in the car, Isabella's first action was to pull down the mirror. After seeing her appearance, she froze.
"Sebastian!" she exclaimed. "What is this?"
He calmly started the car: "What's wrong?"
"After biting my lip corner, you left a mark! Why didn't you tell me!!!"
"Oh." Sebastian replied. "Not obvious."
"But it's clear that something happened…"
So, Isabella had been carrying this faint mark on her lip since they had dinner, up until now.
No wonder Amber had been teasing her and winking at her. She thought it was because he couldn't resist kissing her in the Lawrence family, but she didn't expect it to be...
Isabella covered her face, feeling that she couldn't face anyone from the Lawrence family anymore.
She was angry.
Because of this, Isabella didn't speak to Sebastian the entire way, instead, she turned her head and looked out of the car window.
Sebastian also drove in silence, a hint of worry creased his brows. He didn't know what he was thinking about and had no time to pay attention to Isabella.
Isabella thought he didn't want to coax her, not even bothering to fake it. A tinge of bitterness welled up in her heart.
What was she expecting?
When Sebastian was in a good mood and willing to coax her, he had noticed her change in emotions long ago.
It was obvious...he simply didn't care about her.
