Chapter 127 Looking Forward to the Sex
Justin was super generous. He gave away gifts worth hundreds of thousands of dollars, luxury cars, and even a villa without a second thought.
His generosity totally won over Chloe's family. Even Maria started helping him out. She quickly called Chloe, telling her to come back quickly.
Chloe and Larry had just gotten to the movie theater. They were holding hands in the couple's seat, with Chloe leaning on Larry's shoulder.
After the call, Chloe pouted, "Larry, looks like we can't watch the movie."
"What's up?" Larry asked.
Chloe sighed, "My mom called. She wants me back home urgently."
"Let's go then. We can watch movies anytime."
Chloe nodded. They left early.
Larry rode his electric motorcycle, taking Chloe home. Before they even got inside, they heard laughter and cheerful voices.
Chloe opened the door. Inside, the family gathered around well-dressed, distinguished-looking Justin.
Justin was talking about his experiences abroad and high society. Chole's family looked impressed. They thought, 'This is what a wealthy family looks like. This is high society.'
"Dad, Mom," Chloe called out, "Who's this?"
Maria stood up, pulled Chloe over, and said, "Chloe, this is Justin. He just got back from studying abroad and brought gifts for us. You should go out with him this afternoon."
She placed Chloe's hand in Justin's. Chloe quickly withdrew her hand.
Justin smiled, "Hello, Chloe. I'm Justin."
"Mom, what are you doing?" Chloe said, annoyed.
Maria, maintaining a smile, said, "Justin's really into you. He's handsome and studied abroad, and his family is worth over a billion dollars."
"So what?" Chloe's face darkened.
"You should divorce that useless Larry and marry Justin. Justin's already given you gifts worth hundreds of thousands, luxury cars, and a villa. What has Larry given you? Since marrying you, he hasn't bought you or us anything."
Maria glanced at Larry. Though he was good in many ways and knew medicine, he was no match for Justin.
Justin laughed, "Maria, these aren't wedding gifts. Just first-meeting gifts. The Carter Family's wedding gifts are way more luxurious, worth no less than a hundred million dollars."
"That's wonderful," Maria said, grinning.
However, Chloe pointed to the door, saying, "Mr. Carter, right? I'm married. I have a husband. I won't get a divorce. Please leave."
"Don't talk nonsense," Maria scolded. "You just got the marriage certificate. You two haven't even had sex yet."
"Then I'll go have sex with Larry right now." Furious, Chloe pulled Larry to their room and slammed the door shut.
"Chloe, you just wouldn't listen." Maria angrily chased after them and knocked on the door. "Chloe, open up."
Justin followed, "Mrs.Lewis, it's okay. We've met. There will be plenty of opportunities. I believe I can win Chloe over."
Maria turned and smiled, "Mr. Carter, you're so considerate."
Then she knocked on the door again. "Larry, you loser, open up. If you're a real man, don't hold Chloe back. You can't give her anything."
Inside the room, Chloe was fuming, but she looked at Larry with an apologetic face. "Larry, don't be mad. That's just how my mom is."
Larry smiled, not angry at all. But Maria had a point. Larry hadn't bought any gifts for the family since they got married. He figured it was time to prepare some wedding gifts and plan a grand wedding with Chloe.
Chloe was so gorgeous, so they needed to have a wedding soon, or other guys would try to win her over.
Maria kept knocking, but Chloe and Larry didn't respond.
Eventually, it got quiet outside. Chloe supposed Justin must have left.
Once the noise stopped, Chloe sighed in relief. She looked at Larry, her face turning red.
Noticing her unusual behavior, Larry asked, "Chloe, what's wrong? Are you feeling unwell?"
"No, I'm good. Larry, let's... let's have sex." Chloe lowered her head, mustering the courage to say it.
Even though she was talking to her husband, she felt shy and embarrassed.
When Larry heard this, his whole body trembled.
For so long, Larry hadn't forced Chloe into anything. They had only held hands. And now, they were taking such a big step.
Larry looked at Chloe's slightly flushed face and her alluring body, and he couldn't help but swallow hard.
"Chloe, it's broad daylight, and there are so many people outside," Larry said, feeling a bit embarrassed.
Chloe gave him a dissatisfied look, but he was right.
"Then, tonight," Chloe said, gathering her courage.
"Okay." Larry agreed readily.
Now, Larry was looking forward to tonight.
Inside the room, neither of them spoke again, and the atmosphere became a bit awkward. After a long while, Chloe broke the silence. "Larry, didn't you want to know why those important people respect me so much?"
Larry looked at her.
Chloe said, "It's because I saved someone ten years ago..."
She confessed. "Larry, I really didn't betray you. I don't know who he is. I've never even seen his face."
Larry instantly smiled, thinking, 'No wonder Chloe sometimes seems distracted. This is the reason. Even if Chloe likes the masked man, it doesn't matter because I am that masked man.'
"Larry, why are you smiling?"
"I was just wondering why those people respect you so much. Turns out it's because there was a guy. Even though he's dead, his influence is still strong. He must have been extraordinary."
"That's right. Ten years ago, I saved a Bennett Family member. Back then, the Bennett Family was really powerful. Richard had many connections. I saved someone from the Bennett Family, so it's understandable that they take care of me now." As Chloe spoke, she looked at Larry.
Seeing his calm expression and that he wasn't angry, Chloe felt much more at ease.
After confession, Chloe felt much more comfortable. She gave Larry a playful smile. "I'll go check if Justin has left and buy some condoms for tonight. I don't want to have kids so soon."
With that, Chloe got up and left.
Larry, on the other hand, was eagerly looking forward to tonight.
But since they were doing this, he needed to prepare wedding gifts.
He took out his phone and called Sue. "Sue, help me prepare wedding gifts for the Lewis Family. I want to pick a date to marry Chloe."
"Mr. Bennett, what should I prepare?"
Larry thought for a moment, 'The wedding gifts couldn't be too extravagant, or I would scare Chole's family. But the gifts couldn't be too cheap either.'
"One million dollars in cash, a limited edition Ferrari, a mansion in Scenic Villas, and other things like clothes. Just don't make it too extravagant, but not too cheap either."
"Understood." Sue nodded, hung up, and personally went to handle it.
