Chapter 335 Chloe Is Going to Host a Birthday Party
Chloe's injuries weren't serious. After the wounds on her face were bandaged, she stayed in the hospital for one night and then went home.
Sirius personally took her home.

Maria asked worriedly, "Chloe, what happened to you? How did you end up like this in just one night?"
"Mom, I'm fine."
"And who is this?" Maria's gaze fell on Sirius. Seeing that he was handsome and had an extraordinary demeanor, she pulled Chloe aside and asked in a low voice.
"Hello, my name is Sirius."
Sirius introduced himself, "I'm from the Bennett Family of Aurora Citadel. My family owns numerous businesses and has substantial assets. Take the Golden Peak Group, for example; it's a group controlled by the Bennett Family."
"Is it the Golden Peak Group worth trillions of dollars?" Maria exclaimed.
Sirius nodded, "Yes, the Golden Peak Group is just one of the many companies under the Bennett Family. The Bennett Family is extremely wealthy."
Sirius had already gathered information about the Lewis Family.
He knew Maria loved money.
"Mr. Bennett, please have a seat. Chloe, why are you standing there? Go make some tea for Mr. Bennett."
"Okay."
Chloe went to make tea.
Maria warmly entertained Sirius.
"Mr. Bennett, have some tea. Thank you so much this time. If it weren't for you, I don't know what kind of danger I would have faced," Chloe said gratefully as she brought the tea.
Sirius waved his hand slightly, "It's nothing, just a small favor."
"By the way, Chloe, tomorrow is your twenty-eighth birthday. Where do you plan to hold the birthday party?" Maria asked.
"I haven't thought about it yet. Something simple will do."
"How can that be?" Maria was immediately unhappy. "It can't be simple. This time we need to be extravagant. Spend tens of millions of dollars on the birthday party and invite all the big shots in Sunset City."
"Chloe, is it your birthday tomorrow?" Sirius pretended to be surprised.
"Yes." Chloe nodded.
Sirius smiled, "Extravagant, it must be extravagant. Maria is right. We need to make it grand and let the world know that Chloe is turning twenty-eight."
"Exactly," Maria said, smiling happily.
"Alright then," Chloe nodded reluctantly.
Maria pulled Chloe aside and said, "Chloe, let's go to the Lewis Family mansion and inform them about the birthday party."
Maria began preparing for Chloe's birthday.
Meanwhile, Larry returned to the Imperial Residence. He lay on the sofa, not knowing what to do.
When he was with Chloe, she was his everything. Now that he had lost her, he found himself with nothing to do, feeling listless all day.
The doorbell rang.
Larry got up, turned on the LCD TV, and saw the scene at the front gate through the surveillance camera.
In front of the Imperial Residence stood a woman in a red dress with red wavy hair.
"Why is she here?" Larry frowned.
"Larry, open the door. I know you're in there."
Abigail's voice came through.
Larry pressed the remote control.
The iron gate of the Imperial Residence opened.
Abigail walked in.
Entering the palace-like Imperial Residence, she looked at the table full of cigarette ashes and frowned, "What's wrong with you? How many cigarettes have you smoked?"
"Sit wherever you like."
Larry lazily glanced at Abigail.
"There's drinks in the fridge. Help yourself."
"Larry, can you pull yourself together? It's just a divorce. What's the big deal? If you can't let go, then go after her. Look at you now, what have you become?" Abigail scolded.
"You're the commander of the Southwild Black Dragon. You're the Black Dragon, the guardian war god of Summer Nation. Look at you now, do you look like a war god?"
"Abigail, are you here to laugh at me? If so, you've seen enough. Please leave."
Abigail sat down, put her handbag aside, picked up a tissue from the table, and started cleaning the cigarette ashes.
As she cleaned, she said, "Tomorrow is Chloe's twenty-eighth birthday. She's planning to hold a grand birthday party at the Sunset City Hotel."
"Really?"
Larry was momentarily stunned before he remembered.
He used to remember Chloe's birthday, but with everything that had happened, he had forgotten.
"Yes."
Abigail nodded, "I even received an invitation. I'm just informing you. It's up to you whether you go or not."
"Forget it, I'm not going."
Larry said listlessly, "If I go, I'll just be ridiculed and looked down upon."
"Who said you have to go as yourself? Can't you go in another guise?"
"That Larry is dead and will never appear again."
Larry shook his head slightly.
From the moment he disbanded The Serpent Group, that version of Larry ceased to exist.
This is his true self now.
Why live with a mask on?
"By the way," Abigail remembered something and asked, "Do you know about the situation in Southwild?"
Larry nodded, "Yes, but it's normal. For the past ten years, Summer Nation has had armed conflicts with many small countries on the border. This time, with twenty-eight countries, there won't be large-scale battles."
After cleaning the table, Abigail sat down.
"Are you really not going to Chloe's birthday? Are you really giving up?"
"What else can I do?" Larry said calmly, "Is there any point in clinging on?"
"I really don't understand you," Abigail frowned. "You know she likes Black Dragon, and you are Black Dragon, yet you chose to marry into the Lewis family as a nobody."
Larry said helplessly, "Initially, I just wanted to repay her for saving my life and protect her for the rest of my life. Later, due to some circumstances, I had to interact with her under a different identity. I intended to reveal my true identity, but many things happened, and many people wanted me dead. I planned to tell her everything and marry her after resolving everything, but I didn't get the chance."
Abigail sighed deeply, "So what are your plans now?"
Larry shook his head slightly.
He really had no plans for the future.
Losing Chloe felt like losing his life's purpose, leaving him confused at a crossroads, not knowing which direction to take.
"I'll think about it later. Life goes on. Once these troublesome matters are resolved, and Aurora Citadel is peaceful with no one threatening the country, I want to travel the world."
Larry really wanted to retire, to not care about anything anymore.

Summer Nation seemed peaceful.
But the government of Aurora Citadel was not.
