Chapter 130 Must Pay the Price
Larry was cracking up. Frank, on the other hand, was super embarrassed. Leo let out a big sigh of relief, thinking that finally, someone made Larry happy.
However, Amy was totally confused and hadn't figured the situation out yet. She thought, 'Isn't Frank just a broke guy? No money, no car, no savings. How does he know the famous Leo from Sunset City?'
"Do you need any other women?" Colleen asked nervously.
"This one, this one, this one, no. All the others, yes," Larry said, pointing.
"You tree leave. The rest, stay and serve the guests."
"Yes." The women Larry had pointed at left quickly. The rest walked over to the three men.
Larry stood up. "I don't need any. Just serve these two."
"I don't need any either. Just serve him," Leo added quickly.
In no time, all the women surrounded Frank. Suddenly, his face was covered in lipstick marks.
Amy was still in shock, thinking, 'So many? Dozens of women—how much would this cost? The minimum fee for one is $800, not including drinks. This night would cost at least tens of thousands. Isn't Frank poor? How does he have so much money?'
Amy couldn't figure it out.
Surrounded by so many women, Frank felt awkward and tried to escape, saying, "Alright. I don't need that many."
Frank walked up to Larry, looking a bit panicked. "Mr. Bennett, that's enough. We've seen enough. Let's go back now."
"No. Go ahead and have fun," Larry said, pushing Frank back onto the sofa.
Larry then looked at Amy, who was still standing there confused, and teased, "Why are you standing there? Go serve the guest."
Amy finally snapped out of it, walked up to Frank, and sat beside him. But as soon as she did, a tall, leggy beauty pulled her away.
All the women knew Leo, and anyone Leo respected must be important. If they could impress him, the benefits would be huge. They all tried to please Frank.
"Frank, take your time. I'm heading back," Larry said with a smile, then turned to Leo and instructed, "Leo, if Frank leaves tonight, the Legion Lord can expect to close down tomorrow."
"Yes," Leo nodded repeatedly.
Larry left. "Mr. Bennett..." Frank called out. But Larry was already out the door.
Frank looked helpless. 'What exactly is Larry up to?'
"Frank, have a drink."
"Frank, what do you do for a living? Tell us about it."
"Frank, make yourself comfortable. Just relax and have fun."
The women here all had legit jobs and were mostly high-level execs at major companies. They were just doing this part-time, but they very good at seducing men.
Amy was no exception. She was using all her skills to seduce and please Frank.
"Why are you all surrounding me? He's the big boss. Go serve him," Frank said, pointing at Leo.
Immediately, a few women went over to serve Leo.
Larry left and didn't care what would happen next. He didn't go back right away.
Instead, he went to deal with Benjamin's matters.
That jerk Benjamin had taken Harry's bribe to frame Chloe. Larry had confronted him once.
However, Benjamin still didn't tell the truth in front of Victor and kept slandering Chloe, causing her more trouble.
Larry had sworn he would never let Chloe suffer again. Scum like Benjamin didn't deserve to stay around.
"Free King, notify the commercial investigation department to help me catch someone."
Free King was surprised when he got Larry's call. 'Has Black Dragon changed his ways? Using legal means instead of fists? But this is good too. It saves me from cleaning up after Larry every time.' He thought.
"Where? I'll send someone right away."
Larry sent Benjamin's address.
Larry said, "Alright, on it."
Larry hung up and took a cab to Benjamin's place.
It was already afternoon. Benjamin, worried Larry might come for revenge, had his son Terry Williams call some friends over. If Larry showed up, they'd give him a beating.
At Benjamin's house, "Come on, everyone, have a drink," Terry said, hosting a few tall friends. They were drinking and eating barbecue.
A young guy in his twenties, wearing a black tank top, named Yancy, said, "Terry, don't worry. If Larry shows up, I'll break his legs."
"With you here, I'm relieved. After teaching Larry a lesson, you'll get $800 for drinks," Terry said, feeling confident with his friends around.
"The beer's here," Benjamin said, bringing in another case.
Just then, there was a knock on the door. The noisy living room went silent, and everyone looked at the door.
Terry stood up. "I'll check." He opened the door and saw Larry.
Terry laughed. "Larry, I didn't think you'd actually come. We've been waiting for you."
Larry scrutinized Terry. He was about twenty-five or twenty-six, wearing a tank top, with tattoos. "Waiting for me?"
"Everyone, come out," Terry turned around and called out to the others.
The people inside grabbed iron pipes and walked out aggressively. About seven guys with weapons stood at the door, mocking Larry.
Benjamin also walked over, his face grim. "Larry, didn't expect this, did you? I've been prepared. Let me introduce them. This is Yancy, a gang member."
"So, you were prepared," Larry said, smiling faintly.
Larry's calm demeanor annoyed Terry. He thought, 'Seeing so many people, shouldn't Larry be begging for mercy?'
Benjamin said,"Yancy, get him."
Unexpectedly, Larry moved first, kicking Terry in the chest. Terry flew backward, crashing into several people behind him. Larry rushed forward.
Cries of pain echoed, Terry and his friends lay on the floor. Larry sat on the sofa, legs crossed, a cigarette in his mouth.
Benjamin stood to the side, pale. He couldn't withstand Larry's powerful aura anymore. He collapsed to the floor, crying and begging, "Larry, it was all Harry who forced me. If I didn't do it, I'd go to jail. Please, spare me."
"Jail?" Larry smiled faintly. "You're afraid of Harry, but not of me?"
"I, I..." Benjamin stammered, unable to speak.
Just then, some police officers arrived. Leading them was Free King's subordinate, Howard.
Usually, Free King handled things with a call, but since this was Larry's matter, he sent Howard for safety.
"Mr. Bennett," Howard greeted Larry.
Larry pointed at Benjamin. "It's him."
Howard turned to the officers. "Arrest him."
"Yes." Several officers walked over and handcuffed Benjamin.
Larry pointed at the people on the floor, groaning in pain. "Take these guys too. Check if they've done anything illegal. If they have, deal with it. If not, detain them for a few days and then release them."
"What are you doing? You can't arrest me," Benjamin shouted, struggling.
An officer walked over, flashed his badge, and said coldly, "I'm the director of the Occupational Crime Investigation Department. You're suspected of occupational crimes. Please come with us to assist in the investigation."
Larry instructed, "By the way, also check on the people from the Lewis Family, but do it discreetly."
Larry didn't want to let the Lewis Family off the hook easily. There was always a price to pay for slandering Chloe.
