Chapter 350 Withdrawal

Larry wasn't sure if Kairo was actually calling Alistair.

But he knew that even if it wasn't Alistair, Alistair was listening in.

There was no sound from the phone.

Larry spoke again, "Alistair, I don't care what your intentions are, but I will definitely stop you."

The other party hung up without saying a word.

"Black Dragon, you won't leave here alive," Kairo said to Larry, "Outside, there are a hundred thousand troops, and three million troops from Southwild. Since you're here, don't think about leaving alive."

"Is that so?"

Larry smiled faintly and said, "Since I'm here, I have a way to leave. Oh, I forgot to tell you, this used to be my meeting room in Southwild. I know this place inside out. Now, it's cut off from the outside world, so no matter what happens here, the outside world won't know."

Upon hearing this, the faces of the twenty-eight generals changed.

"Black Dragon, I was forced into this."

"Black Dragon, please spare me. I'll withdraw my troops immediately."

Many began to plead.

Larry fired his gun.

Kairo fell to the ground in a pool of blood, lifeless.

The twenty-eight generals turned pale with fear.

"Since you're here, be prepared to die. You've attacked Southwild, causing countless casualties to the Black Dragon Army. If I don't kill you, how can I answer to the Black Dragon Army?"

Larry's expression was grim, and his words carried a murderous intent.

His aura was so powerful and terrifying that the generals present were filled with dread, feeling as if a heavy stone was pressing down on them, making them too scared to move.

"Everyone, attack together. He only has one gun. If we all shoot, I don't believe..."

Before the general could finish his sentence, Larry fired, and he slowly fell.

Although the twenty-eight generals were quite capable, they had no desire to fight against the Black Dragon.

They knew they would die if they waited.

But they also knew that if they acted now, they would die immediately.

"Settle it yourselves."

Larry looked at the surviving generals and promised, "I promise, if you take your own lives, the Black Dragon Army will not harm your country's soldiers and will let them leave Southwild safely."

His face darkened, and he said coldly, "Otherwise, I'll kill them all."

Humans have an inherent fear of the unknown in death, and suicide requires immense courage. As national generals, they were reluctant to die.

"What, do you need me to do it?"

Larry's cold voice rang out.

Then, he fired his gun.

The machine gun kept firing.

At that moment, countless generals fired their guns.

They wanted to kill Larry before they died.

But they were no match for Larry's speed.

In just a few seconds, the large meeting room was filled with corpses.

Only one person was still alive.

That was Gideon, the commander-in-chief of the twenty-eight-nation coalition.

Gideon slumped in his chair, completely drained of strength.

He watched as Larry walked towards him, sweat beading on his forehead and quickly soaking his uniform.

Larry asked calmly, "Do you know why I haven't killed you?"

"I don't know."

Gideon was drenched in sweat, his teeth chattering.

Larry sat down, took out a cigarette, lit it, and took a deep drag.

"Because you are the commander-in-chief of the twenty-eight-nation coalition, I need you to issue a retreat order. Of course, you can choose to refuse, but if you do, the Black Dragon Army will launch an immediate attack, and Southwild will be plunged into war, resulting in the complete annihilation of the three million coalition troops."

Larry paused and continued, "Once the battle truly begins, it won't end easily. The Black Dragon Army will advance from Cedar Grove and annihilate the twenty-eight nations."

Every word Larry said was like a sharp blade piercing Gideon's heart.

Hearing the words "annihilate the twenty-eight nations," Gideon's body trembled uncontrollably.

"I'll order a retreat."

Gideon knew the plan had failed.

The plan to kill the Black Dragon had failed.

He also knew that if he didn't order a retreat, the Black Dragon would kill him, and the three million troops would clash head-on with the Black Dragon Army. Once a large-scale battle began, it wouldn't end easily.

In the control room.

Lyra and the others watched the scene unfold, smiles on their faces.

"We did it."

"Yes, we did it. We can go home alive this time."

"To infiltrate the three million troops stationed in Southwild and kill the twenty-eight generals, this is something I can brag about for a lifetime. It's a pity I can't continue being an assassin; otherwise, I'd be even more famous."

Many assassins had smiles on their faces.

In the meeting room on the eighth floor of the office building.

Larry looked at Gideon and said, "Alright, look at you, drenched in sweat. Come on, let's go to the command room."

"Okay."

Gideon stood up.

He followed Larry to the command room.

Downstairs, many soldiers were still patrolling.

They had no idea what had happened in the meeting room.

"General."

As Gideon walked by, the soldiers greeted him respectfully.

Gideon didn't respond.

Soon, they arrived at the command room.

The command room was controlled by Fire Phoenix, ranked third on the assassin list, along with Snow Wolf and Ghost Assassin.

"Larry."

The two spoke in unison.

Larry walked over, patted them on the shoulders, and praised, "Well done. There will be rewards when we get back."

"Thank you, Larry."

Larry looked at Gideon and said, "Go ahead and give the order."

Gideon entered the command room, picked up a microphone, and said, "I order the twenty-eight-nation coalition to retreat overnight, withdraw from Southwild, and leave Summer Nation."

All the deputy generals of the twenty-eight nations received the order.

"Pass the order, full retreat."

"Retreat, retreat overnight, withdraw from Southwild."

The deputy generals of the twenty-eight nations quickly issued the order.

As the order was given, the troops stationed outside Southwild quickly retreated, and the Southwild troops also quickly withdrew. The armed forces stationed in the military district were also urgently retreating.

After giving the order, Gideon looked at Larry, his pale face showing a hint of pleading, "Black Dragon, I've given the order. Can I leave now?"

"Leave?"

Larry's lips curled into a smile, "Of course, you can leave. But this time, the twenty-eight nations caused such a big commotion. The whole world is watching Southwild. I've spared the coalition, but if you don't make a gesture, what will people think of me?"

"What do you want?" Gideon took a few steps back.

Larry waved his hand slightly and said, "You can go back first. An envoy will be sent to the twenty-eight nations to discuss with your kings."

Larry's words filled Gideon with fear.

He knew the twenty-eight nations would have to pay a hefty price again.

But he didn't know what Larry wanted.

"Do you want money?"

"Money?"

Larry chuckled, "Can money solve the problem? You've been defeated so many times, yet you still dare to invade. This time, you need a lesson. Cede territory as compensation. Each of the twenty-eight nations will cede five cities to Summer Nation, and this matter will be settled."

As he spoke, his face darkened.

"Otherwise, the Black Dragon Army will launch a military attack from Cedar Grove and forcibly annex the twenty-eight nations into Summer Nation's territory."
