Chapter 371 Prison Break Plan

Larry fiddled with the Against Heaven 81 Needles for a bit before casually tossing them onto the table. He pulled out his phone to check the time.

It was already midnight.

He had dinner at 8 PM, but now he was hungry again.

He took out his phone and sent a message to Abigail in the next room.

"I'm hungry."

Within seconds of sending the message, the door opened.

Abigail walked in, wearing her pajamas.

She was dressed in a white nightgown, slightly see-through, revealing her alluring figure. Her hair was still damp, indicating she had just taken a shower.

"What do you wanna eat? I'll order takeout."

"Meat," Larry replied.

Ever since he got infected with the Gu, he had an insatiable craving, especially for meat.

"Okay," Abigail said, pulling out her phone to place the order.

After ordering, she sat down and glanced at the scattered silver needles on the table. "What are you doing with those?"

"Nothing," Larry said, picking up one of the silver needles and pressing its tip.

The needle seemed to be magnetic, instantly attracting the other needles to form a wire.

The wire seemed to have a life of its own, quickly disappearing into his sleeve.

Abigail's mouth dropped open in astonishment. "That's incredible!"

Larry smiled faintly, not offering any further explanation.

Abigail, sensing his mood, didn't press further.

She climbed onto the bed.

As soon as she did, Larry caught a whiff of her enticing fragrance.

He quickly pulled the blanket over himself, eyeing Abigail warily. "What are you doing?"

Abigail rolled her eyes. "Relax, I'm not trying anything. I just wanted to ask if you're feeling tired. I can give you a massage. I'm not a professional, but I know a few techniques."

"No, thanks," Larry said, waving her off.

He knew what she was thinking.

He couldn't let Abigail get too close.

"I'm fine. You can go rest. Just bring the takeout when it arrives."

"Are you sure?" Abigail asked, giving him a seductive look and extending her soft hand. "My hands are really soft and comfortable."

"No, really," Larry said, ignoring her flirtation.

"Alright," Abigail said, getting off the bed and leaving the room.

Larry watched her slightly transparent nightgown as she left, catching a glimpse of her smooth back. He couldn't help but chuckle. "She's really bold, not wearing anything underneath."

After Abigail left, Larry took out his phone and called Lyra.

"I'm at the Platinum Haven Hotel, room 888. Gather the others. We need to discuss something."

"Got it," Lyra replied, quickly rounding up the others and heading to the hotel.

Before the takeout arrived, Lyra and the others showed up.

"Larry, how are you feeling?"

"Boss, are you okay?"

"Boss, is there a mission?"

Larry looked at the eight people in front of him. "Yes, there is a mission. Grab some chairs from outside and let's talk."

Abigail, who had been eavesdropping outside the door, quickly went to the living room to fetch some chairs.

As she brought them in, several people came out to help.

She smiled. "I can handle this."

She brought the chairs into the room and sat down.

The others took their seats.

Larry glanced at Abigail.

Abigail, with a hint of dissatisfaction, said, "Go ahead and talk. I'm not an outsider. I won't leak any secrets."

Larry thought for a moment.

He decided Abigail wasn't an outsider and it was fine for her to know.

He nodded.

Seeing Larry's approval, Abigail was delighted. She sat nearby, resting her chin on her hands, staring intently at Larry.

The others also looked at Larry, waiting for him to speak.

Larry looked at the group sitting in front of him and said softly, "We have a mission coming up, and I need you all to be involved."

Abigail couldn't help but ask, "What kind of mission?"

Larry slowly said, "A prison break."

Everyone was stunned.

"A prison break?"

"Larry, who are we breaking out?"

Many looked at Larry in confusion.

Larry turned to Lyra. "You grew up in the Shadow Syndicate and were once an SSS-level assassin. You must know the founder, Alden, right?"

"Yes," Lyra nodded.

Hearing Alden's name, her expression grew serious. "I do know him. From what I know, Alden is ruthless. Anyone who defies or betrays him meets a terrible end. But he was captured a few years ago."

She looked at Larry. "Are you planning to break him out?"

Larry nodded. "Yes, I am. I was infected with the Gu, and he immediately recognized it. He said he could help me detoxify it, but the condition is that we break him out."

Everyone fell silent, listening intently.

Larry continued, "In three days, the King of Summer Nation, the Chief Executive, the Secretary-General, and the Commander of the Legion of Flame Surge, Alistair, will all be leaving Aurora Citadel. That's our chance. We have three days to plan."

Lyra couldn't help but say, "Larry, Alden is held in the Aurora Citadel dungeon, which is guarded by the fully armed Legion of Flame Surge. There are at least ten thousand Legion of Flame Surge soldiers guarding the prison. How are we supposed to break him out?"

"We'll have to come up with a plan," Larry said, deep in thought.

They were outnumbered and outgunned. A direct confrontation with the Legion of Flame Surge would be a losing battle.

And if a fight broke out, reinforcements from the Legion of Flame Surge would arrive quickly.

After a moment, Larry said, "Stay here for now. I'll make the arrangements."

Everyone nodded.

Larry waved his hand and said, "Go rest."

One by one, they left the room.

Larry looked at Abigail, who was still sitting there. "You too."

"Oh, okay," Abigail said, standing up and leaving the room.

Larry took out his phone and sent a message to Shadow: "I need the layout of the dungeon."

Soon, Shadow sent over the layout of Alden's cell.

Larry studied the layout carefully.

The prison was underground with only one entrance, guarded by the fully armed Legion of Flame Surge.

Larry thought for a while, then opened his phone's map to look at the area around the dungeon.

The dungeon was in the suburbs.

It was close to the Legion of Flame Surge headquarters, a military area with no residents nearby.

If news of the prison break got out, the Legion of Flame Surge would quickly send reinforcements.

To break Alden out, they would have to do it quietly and prevent the Legion of Flame Surge from sending reinforcements.

Larry thought and thought, feeling a headache coming on. He put down his phone and rubbed his temples.

Then he lay down on the bed to rest.

After a while, he called Shadow, "In three days, I need to create a big distraction to draw the Legion of Flame Surge away. Can you handle that?"

Shadow's raspy voice came through the phone. "Larry, that's going to be tricky. Aurora Citadel is an international metropolis. Any disturbance will make big news. Creating a big distraction will cause panic and harm Summer Nation's international reputation."

"Desperate times call for desperate measures. Don't worry, no one will get hurt. It's just a diversion."

Shadow was silent.

After a while, he asked, "What's your plan?"

Larry said, "My target is the Grand Hall. Arrange for some death row inmates to cause a commotion there, forcing the Legion of Flame Surge to respond. We'll draw them away from the dungeon."

Larry explained his plan.

He couldn't do it alone; he needed Shadow's help.

With Shadow's involvement, it would be much easier.

"Alright, I agree."

"Good," Larry said, hanging up the phone.

He then called everyone back into the room.

He shared the dungeon layout from Shadow. "This is the layout of the dungeon. Memorize it. My plan is for you to infiltrate the Legion of Flame Surge and quietly break Alden out."

Larry explained his plan in detail.

Everyone listened intently.

He spoke for over half an hour.

"Got it?" he asked.

"Got it," they replied in unison.

"Good," Larry said, nodding. He then looked at Abigail, "In the morning, I'll give you a list. I need you to buy some ingredients for making a sleeping potion."

"Got it," Abigail said, nodding.
