Chapter 69 It Will Scare You to Death
Larry sat on the sofa, crossed his legs, and lit a cigarette.
The smell of smoke filled the underground stone room.
Opposite him, Leon, wearing a black tank top, looked sullen and said, "If you want the information, transfer the money immediately."
Larry waved his hand slightly and said, "Forget it, I'm not buying it. You're too good at lying."
He stood up.
Frank and Black Rose also stood up.
Leon, wearing a black tank top, angrily said, "This place isn't somewhere you can come and go as you please."
Larry smiled faintly and said, "If you want to make a deal, have the real Grim Reaper come in person. This is a big transaction, and you're not qualified to handle it."
Leon, wearing a black tank top, was slightly taken aback and then laughed. "Do you think I'm not the Grim Reaper?"
Larry pointed to a hidden camera in the corner and said, "The real Grim Reaper must be watching from the shadows. As expected of the Grim Reaper, he was so cautious that he sent a subordinate to negotiate with me. Since there's no sincerity, let's call it off."
In another room, the Grim Reaper, in his sixties and smoking a cigarette, looked increasingly serious.
Larry was not simple. With a gun to his head, he was not only calm but also observant.
He watched the surveillance footage without making any rash moves.
Larry looked at Leon sitting on the sofa and smiled faintly. "You're quite convincing, almost flawless."
"So, are you saying I'm not the Grim Reaper?"
"The aura," Larry explained.
Larry said calmly, "The Grim Reaper's influence is vast, a true underground emperor. As a big shot, someone in a high position for a long time, there must be an invisible aura about him, but you don't have it."
"Just because of that?" he asked.
"Yes," Larry replied.
In another stone room, a subordinate walked in and said, "Grim Reaper, we called Aaron, but he was evasive and only said that the person wanting to buy the information is not to be messed with."
"Got it." The Grim Reaper waved his hand slightly, then stood up and walked out of the room.
Larry was about to leave.
At that moment, the sound of clapping echoed.
Immediately, an elderly but spirited-looking Grim Reaper in a blue suit walked over, clapping his hands and smiling."Impressive, truly."
Larry looked over and saw the approaching Grim Reaper.
As soon as the Grim Reaper arrived, Larry sensed a powerful aura from him.
He knew the real Grim Reaper had arrived.
He didn't expect the infamous Grim Reaper to be an old man.
The Grim Reaper waved his hand slightly at the mercenaries. "Stand down."
"Yes." The fully armed mercenaries then retreated.
"Grim Reaper." Leon, wearing a black tank top, bent his body and respectfully called out.
The Grim Reaper nodded slightly, and sat down on the sofa, while Leon stood behind him.
The Grim Reaper looked at Larry and his group and said, "Do you want to buy the truth about the Bennett family fire from ten years ago?"
Larry looked at him and said, "Yes, do you have it?"
"I do, but the price is still the same, 1.5 billion dollars."
Larry smiled and said, "1.5 billion dollars is too expensive. How about I give you ten dollars?"
The Grim Reaper's face instantly darkened.
Behind him, Leon pulled out a gun and pointed it at Larry, saying coldly, "Are you looking for trouble?"
"That's right." Larry darkened his face and threw the cigarette butt in his hand.
The small cigarette butt became a terrifying weapon in Larry's hand.
Before Leon could fire, his wrist was hit, sending a wave of intense pain, and causing him to drop the gun.
In a flash, Larry rolled over the table, appeared in front of Leon, kicked him away, and picked up the gun from the ground.
All of this happened in an instant.
Before the Grim Reaper could react, his subordinate Leon was kicked away, and a gun was already pointed at his forehead.
Hearing the commotion, the returning mercenaries came back, all raising their guns and pointing them at Larry.
With a gun pointed at his forehead, the Grim Reaper remained calm and composed, saying lightly, "Do you know where you are? Even if you kill me, you won't make it out alive."
"Ten dollars, deal or not?" Larry pressed the gun against the Grim Reaper's head, a playful smile on his face, and said, "You'd better have your men leave, or with a twitch of my finger, you're dead."
At this moment, Leon, who had been kicked away by Larry, got up from the ground, cursing angrily, "Bastard, you're too arrogant."
The Grim Reaper waved his hand slightly, and Leon fell silent.
The Grim Reaper sat calmly on the sofa, his expression serene, and asked, "Who exactly are you?"
Larry said, "Frank, tell him who I am."
Frank sat down again.
Sue, already sweating in fear, followed suit when she saw Frank sit down.
Frank smiled faintly and said, "Grim Reaper, I advise you not to know. If you do, you'll be scared to death."
"Really?" The Grim Reaper smiled indifferently and said, "Let's hear it. Over the years, I've met many big shots. I want to see what kind of big shot can scare me to death."
Frank said, "The one holding the gun to your head is Black Dragon, commander of the Southwild's million-strong Black Dragon Army, and now one of the Five Great Marshals of the Summer Nation, Black Dragon."
The twenty or so armed mercenaries trembled.
They quickly stepped back a few paces, then put down their guns, knelt on the ground, and shivered.
As mercenaries, they certainly knew who Black Dragon was.
The Grim Reaper also trembled, beads of sweat appearing on his previously composed face.
Larry casually tossed the weapon in his hand to Leon, walked over, and sat down next to Frank, lighting another cigarette.
As for the twenty or so kneeling mercenaries behind him, he paid them no mind.
The Grim Reaper wiped the sweat from his forehead.
He didn't doubt Larry's identity at all.
From the moment Larry remained calm with a gun to his head, the Grim Reaper knew Larry was not simple.
Coupled with the fact that he subdued his subordinate in an instant, the Grim Reaper had no doubts about Larry's identity.
"So, it's Black Dragon," The Grim Reaper spoke, but now he was no longer as composed as before. He was trembling all over, and if he hadn't sitting on the sofa, he would have collapsed to the ground.
Larry asked, "Can we continue the transaction now?"
"Yes, right away," The Grim Reaper immediately ordered, "Quick, go get all the information about the Bennett family fire from ten years ago."
"Yes." Leon, behind him, nodded immediately and turned to leave.
After a few steps, he stumbled and fell to the ground.
He quickly got up, but his legs were so weak from fear that he fell again.
He crawled and stumbled to the archive to get the information about the Bennett family fire from ten years ago.
The situation had reversed, and Sue sighed in relief.
As expected of Black Dragon, remaining so calm in such a situation. And he was able to injure someone with just a cigarette butt.
She was in awe of Larry's strength.
Today, she finally witnessed the power of the world's strongest man, Larry.
Larry said nothing.
Opposite him, the Grim Reaper was very uneasy.
The atmosphere in the stone room was tense. About five minutes later, the Grim Reaper couldn't hold it in any longer.
Because at this moment, Larry's aura was too strong for the Grim Reaper to bear. He slid off the sofa and knelt on the ground. "Black Dragon, please spare me this once."
Larry glanced at him and said lightly, "What are you doing? Get up and talk. I hope the information you give me is useful. Otherwise, there will be no more Grim Reaper in this world."
A chill shot through the Grim Reaper's brain, and he trembled all over, collapsing to the ground. He quickly got up again, knelt on the ground, and kept apologizing, "Please, Black Dragon, spare my life."
