Chapter 353 Eight Heavenly Dragons

Southwild, Black Dragon Mansion.

Larry hadn't been sleeping well these past few days. As soon as he got back to Black Dragon Mansion, he collapsed onto his bed and fell into a deep sleep.

He slept until evening.

His stomach growled.

Larry rolled over and got up, rubbing his belly.

He glanced out the window; it was already dark.

He picked up his phone from the bedside table and saw that it was 8 PM.

Checking his phone, he noticed numerous missed calls and messages, all from Abigail.

Frowning, he muttered to himself, "What does Abigail want now?"

He ignored the messages.

Getting dressed, he headed out.

Outside Black Dragon Mansion, a crowd had gathered.

There were citizens and reporters. Many citizens held flowers, and some carried banners.

At the entrance of Black Dragon Mansion, heavily armed soldiers stood guard, standing so straight it was as if they didn't see the crowd outside.

Larry hated trouble.

Seeing the scene, he turned around and went back inside.

"Black Dragon."

"Dragon Lord, Dragon Lord, don't go, come back."

Many people shouted when they saw Larry.

"Larry, over here, over here."

A woman in a red dress waved frantically.

She tried to push her way in, but several soldiers blocked her path.

"Larry, it's me, Abigail, over here." Abigail waved and shouted, but her voice was drowned out by the crowd.

"Dragon Lord, I love you."

"I want to have your children."

The shouts grew louder and louder.

Larry ignored them all.

He walked into Black Dragon Mansion, sat in the living room, and made a call. "Send me some food."

He had just reclaimed Southwild without a fight, becoming a hero. The citizens were passionate, but things would calm down soon.

Outside.

Abigail looked dejected.

Larry had gone to sleep, and she hadn't disturbed him. She only started calling him in the afternoon.

But Larry hadn't answered.

Now that she saw him, she shouted, but Larry didn't respond.

She took out her phone and sent Larry another message: "Larry, I'm outside."

Larry's phone buzzed. He took it out, saw the message from Abigail, and leaned back on the couch, muttering, "What's Abigail up to now? Why couldn't she just stay in Sunset City?"

Larry had no idea why Abigail had come to Southwild and didn't bother to find out.

He fell asleep on the couch.

Soon, the food arrived.

It was delivered by Idris himself.

"Dragon Lord, we've searched the entire area around Southwild and found no sign of the coalition forces."

He stood to the side, reporting to Larry.

Larry ate while pointing to the couch. "No outsiders here, relax and sit."

Idris finally sat down.

Larry asked, "What's the situation with Frank?"

Idris replied, "He's leading the delegation to the 28 nations for negotiations. The whole world is watching the live broadcast. Frank is eloquent, leaving the 28 nations speechless."

Larry smiled faintly. "I knew Frank would handle it. Tell him to pressure the 28 nations. If they don't agree to our terms, we'll fight. The Black Dragon Army never fears battle."

"Yes," Idris nodded.

"Also, write a recommendation and send it to Aurora Citadel tonight."

Idris asked, "What recommendation?"

Larry said, "The assassins who helped us kill the generals of the 28 nations deserve recognition. Write a recommendation for their promotion."

"Yes," Idris nodded.

Larry quickly finished eating, wiped his mouth, and said, "Alright, you can go now. Call those assassins in for me."

"Okay."

Idris cleaned up the dishes and left.

Soon, Lyra and the other assassins arrived.

Larry looked at the eight of them, five men and three women, and said, "Relax, have a seat."

Hearing this, they finally sat down.

In Sunset City, they didn't feel this much pressure facing Larry. But now, facing the Black Dragon in his battle attire, they felt an immense pressure, like a heavy stone pressing down on them, making it hard to breathe.

Larry looked at them and said, "You did a great job taking out the generals of the 28 nations. I've already written a recommendation for your promotion. If approved, you'll become elite warriors of the Black Dragon Army, at least at the deputy commander level."

A commander was just below a general. This was a high rank. It was Larry's recognition of their strength and their outstanding performance.

Hearing this, they all smiled with joy.

"Thanks, Larry."

"Thanks, Larry."

Larry waved his hand slightly. "From now on, don't call me Larry. You're my subordinates, call me Dragon Lord."

"Yes, Dragon Lord."

They all responded in unison.

Larry looked at the eight of them. They were all very strong, with excellent physical fitness. After thinking for a moment, he said, "I'll name you the Eight Heavenly Dragons, the highest special forces of the Black Dragon Army, answering only to me."

"Awesome."

They were overjoyed. Eight Heavenly Dragons, what a prestigious title.

Larry smiled faintly. "Fire Phoenix, from now on, you are no longer the third-ranked assassin, Fire Phoenix."

Fire Phoenix stood up immediately. Today, she was dressed normally, not in her usual school uniform, but in a fitted dress, with long flowing hair, looking pure and innocent, nothing like a cold-blooded assassin.

Larry said, "I'll give you a new name, Phoenix Dragon. How about that?"

Fire Phoenix nodded eagerly, "Thank you, Dragon Lord."

Larry looked at the fourth-ranked assassin, Bloodstorm, and said, "How about Wave Dragon for you?"

Bloodstorm's old face showed a hint of embarrassment. He smiled and said, "It's a bit cheesy, but since it's from the Dragon Lord, I'll take it. It's just a code name anyway."

"Shadowblade, from now on, you'll be Night Dragon."

"Southwild, you'll be Savage Dragon."

"Snow Wolf, you'll be Divine Dragon."

"Lyra, you'll be Silver Dragon."

"Viper, you'll be Scorpion Dragon."

"Phantomface, you'll be Dance Dragon."

Larry's gaze swept over them. He casually gave them code names.

"If you're not satisfied with your code name, you can suggest a change."

"We're satisfied."

They all responded in unison.

"Thank you, Dragon Lord, for the names."

Larry stood up, his expression serious. "From now on, you are the Eight Heavenly Dragons of the Black Dragon Army, the highest combat force. The future of Southwild Border depends on you. This is not just an honorary title; it's a responsibility, a duty. Understand?"

Larry spoke with gravity. They listened, their blood boiling with excitement. They hadn't expected to go from being assassins to becoming the guardians of the border, the Eight Heavenly Dragons of the Black Dragon Army.

They knew that once the Eight Heavenly Dragons were officially established, they would become famous instantly. Because they had played a crucial role in killing the generals of the 28 nations.

"We will follow the Dragon Lord's teachings."

They all responded in unison.

Larry looked at them and said firmly, "You eight are a team. I hope you can be honest with each other, no scheming. You are brothers and sisters, people you can trust with your lives. You must have complete trust in your companions."

"Divided, we achieve nothing. United, we are invincible."
