Chapter 381 Sisters Fall Out
                    The Lewis Family.
Chloe angrily threw her phone against the wall.
The phone hit the wall, bounced to the floor, and shattered into pieces.
"This is infuriating!"
She sat on the couch, fuming.
"Chloe, what's wrong?" Maria walked over and saw the broken phone, prompting her to ask.
"Nothing, it's nothing."
Chloe took a deep breath, then got up and headed out the door.
Larry was hers, and she wouldn't let any other woman take him away.
She had been to Abigail's house before.
She guessed that Larry was probably at the villa Abigail had bought.
She walked out of her house, got into her newly purchased Porsche, and drove towards Abigail's place.
Abigail received a call from Chloe and felt a sense of helplessness.
She had anticipated this day would come.
Out of respect for her friendship with Chloe, she hadn't pursued Larry until after their divorce.
She knew that once she and Larry got together, her friendship with Chloe would be over.
Larry was half-asleep.
He soon woke up.
Seeing Abigail sitting beside him, lost in thought, he couldn't help but ask, "What are you thinking about?"
Abigail snapped out of her daze and shook her head. "Nothing."
Larry checked his phone; it was already past four in the afternoon.
"Push me outside for a walk. It's too stuffy in here."
"Okay."
Abigail found the wheelchair, helped Larry into it, and pushed him outside.
They walked out of the villa and strolled along the neighborhood streets.
The autumn breeze was cool against their skin.
Abigail didn't go far, just around the neighborhood.
Before long, a brand-new Porsche drove up.
It was Chloe.
Chloe had come to find Abigail, but she didn't expect to see Abigail and Larry outside before she even reached the house.
She slammed on the brakes, parked the car, and got out, fuming.
She walked over and slapped Abigail across the face.
"Abigail, I trusted you, and you stole my man."
Abigail was stunned.
She covered her slapped cheek, tears welling up, and shouted, "I didn't! You two are divorced. You don't want him, but I can't have him?"
Larry hadn't expected Chloe to show up.
He looked at the furious Chloe and weakly scolded, "Chloe, what are you doing? You have no right to hit her. Apologize now."
Chloe's eyes filled with tears as she looked at Larry, her face full of sorrow. "Larry, I suffered so much for you. I endured so much scorn. Is this how you repay me? Do you know what my life has been like these past ten years? I hid at home every day, afraid to go out. I cried myself to sleep every night. I woke up from nightmares every day. All of this is because of you."
Larry was silent.
He knew he had wronged Chloe.
It was because of him that Chloe had suffered for ten years.
"Say something! Why aren't you saying anything? Are you mute?"
Larry had no words to respond to Chloe's accusations.
Chloe looked at Larry, pointing at Abigail, and demanded, "Tell me, what's your relationship with her?"
"That's none of your business," Larry said, looking at Chloe, his former wife, the woman he had wronged.
"How is it not my business? You're my husband. Let's get remarried!"
She tried to pull Larry away.
She pulled too hard, causing Larry to fall out of the wheelchair. He was too weak to stand and collapsed to the ground.
"What are you doing?"
Abigail rushed over, pushing Chloe away and scolding, "Don't you know he's weak right now?"
She hurriedly helped Larry up, her face full of concern. "Are you okay?"
Larry waved his hand slightly.
Seeing this, Chloe cried out, "Larry, I just want to know, do you choose her or me?"
Abigail couldn't stand Chloe's attitude any longer.
She helped Larry back into the wheelchair and glared at Chloe.
"Chloe, you keep saying you love him, demanding he make a choice. But have you ever thought about the fact that you pushed him away? And he's been poisoned; he only has a few months left to live. Do you still want to remarry him?"
Chloe was stunned.
"Only a few months left?" Her face turned pale as she looked at Larry in disbelief. "Larry, tell me this isn't true."
Larry sat in the wheelchair, silent.
If he couldn't cultivate Qi, he really only had a few months left.
Abigail took a deep breath and said, "In his condition, do you still want him? Do you still want to remarry him?"
"I... I..."
Chloe took a few steps back.
Her mind was in chaos, like a swarm of bees buzzing in her ears.
She didn't know what to do.
Abigail spoke slowly and clearly, "You never truly loved him. You loved the identity of Black Dragon. Now that he's no longer Black Dragon, ask yourself if you really love him. If you say you do, and you're willing to take care of him for the rest of his life, then I'll step aside."
Hearing about taking care of Larry for the rest of his life, Chloe was scared.
She had been there when Larry was poisoned.
She had heard Alfonso's words.
Alfonso said Larry would gradually become weaker, his muscles would atrophy, and he would be bedridden, unable to move.
She couldn't imagine living like that for the rest of her life.
And she remembered she was also poisoned.
Alfonso said her skin would slowly rot, and she would be covered in black spots.
She covered her head with her hands and quickly ran away, got into her car, and drove off.
Larry sat in the wheelchair, quietly watching Chloe drive away.
Despite his deep regret and guilt, this was fate, and he had no choice.
"Larry, I'm sorry."
After Chloe left, Abigail looked at Larry, apologetic. "I was too harsh. I hurt Chloe."
Larry raised his hand slightly, interrupting Abigail.
"She's a pitiful person. The suffering she's endured is unimaginable. I thought giving her a billion dollars would repay her for saving my life ten years ago and for the ten years of our relationship. But I didn't expect the enemy to capture her to threaten me."
"She's also been poisoned. I don't know what will happen to her next, but I can imagine she'll suffer again."
Larry sighed deeply.
He thought he had repaid his emotional debt.
But now, Chloe was dragged back into it.
Would he never be able to repay what he owed Chloe in this lifetime?
He was so eager to find a way to cultivate Qi, not just for himself, but for Chloe too. He didn't want her to suffer from the poison.
