Chapter 233 The Villain Complains First
Everyone let out a sigh of relief when Orion spoke up.
Larry strolled over and caught the scene.
Chloe grabbed his arm, pleading, "Babe, you gotta save her."
Larry just waved it off, "Isn't Octavius's student here? Chill, let's see what happens."
Orion checked out Abigail lying on the table. She'd been bitten by a venomous snake, right on her thigh.
Her skin was super pale, you could see her veins clear as day.
Her thigh was already swollen and red, with the bite area turning black. The black venom was spreading fast.
Orion pressed near her wound gently. Abigail yelped in pain.
Orion quickly reassured her, "Abigail, it's cool. With me here, you ain't gonna die. Your injury's kinda special, and I need to use some special methods to get the venom out. How about I take you to my room, where I can focus on treating you?"
Abigail felt dizzy and drowsy.
The pain from the snake bite was intense. She knew she was poisoned, and if the venom wasn't treated, she was a goner.
"Abigail, you down with that? If so, I'll take you now." A voice reached her ears.
She barely opened her eyes, seeing a pretty handsome face and a solid chest.
"Okay," she mumbled, looking dazed.
As he was about to pick her up, Larry frowned. "What are you doing?" he snapped, walking over.
Even though Abigail had caused him trouble, she was still Chloe's friend and a leader of the Epoch Group. He couldn't just let Orion mess with her.
Orion stopped and looked at Larry, "Can't you see I'm taking her to the room for treatment? She got bit by a venomous snake, and I need to use a special method my teacher taught me. No one else can watch."
"Larry, what are you doing? Don't mess this up."
"Didn't you see her thigh? It's swollen and red with black venom. If you delay, can you deal with the consequences?"
"Orion, hurry up and take her for treatment."
Orion looked at Larry calmly, "Did you hear that? Can you take responsibility if something happens?"
He was about to pick up Abigail again, thinking about spending the night with a beautiful woman made him excited.
"Don't touch her," Larry shouted.
Orion was pissed and stopped, "Fine, I won't care anymore. You can wait to collect her body."
He stepped aside, and Abigail cried out in pain.
Classmates from Class Two stood up, criticizing Larry.
"Larry, what are you doing?"
"This ain't your business. Get out of here."
"Don't stop Orion from saving her."
Seeing so many people backing him, Orion smirked and said calmly, "Larry, let me remind you, she's severely poisoned. If not treated, she's in danger. Once the toxin hits her brain, she could die instantly, or even if she survives, she might end up brain-damaged."
Orion tried to intimidate Larry.
Larry glanced at him, "I don't need your warning or help. This minor poison is nothing to me."
Orion burst out laughing.
"Alright, let's see you play doctor and save Abigail."
He shook his head, sighing dramatically. "Such a shame. A beautiful woman about to be ruined."
Hearing this, the Class Two kids got all riled up. Some of the guys even tried to pull Larry away, shouting, "Larry, get lost."
"It's none of your business."
"Who do you think you are?"
"Chloe, seriously, why can't you keep an eye on your useless husband?"
Chloe looked around and said, "My husband knows his stuff. I trust he can save Abigail."
"Does your trust even matter?"
"Can you handle it if Abigail gets worse?"
Larry suddenly yelled, "All of you, shut up."
His shout made everyone go silent. Larry walked over to Abigail, checked the bite on her thigh, and looked at her other symptoms.
He then examined her face, lifting her eyelids to check her pupils.
"Venomous snake?" Larry squinted.
From what he knew, this type of snake was usually bred in captivity. Its venom, mixed with certain herbs, could be used as a remedy.
But this snake was deadly. The victim would die within an hour.
He glanced at Orion, who had a smug look on his face, and said, "What, can't handle it? Let me tell you, I'm pissed now, and I won't help you."
Orion was sure Larry couldn't detoxify her. This useless guy would eventually beg him. Then he could take Abigail to his room, detoxify her, give her some medicine, and she'd be at his mercy.
Larry smiled faintly and started treating Abigail at lightning speed.
He moved so fast that people around couldn't see clearly. Soon, Abigail's body was covered with silver needles.
Larry then touched her thigh. Chloe frowned slightly but stayed quiet, knowing Larry was saving Abigail.
Larry pressed Abigail's thigh gently. A burst of black blood spurted out from her wound instantly.
Everyone could see the blackened blood flowing through her veins towards her thigh, finally gathering and being squeezed out by Larry.
After that, Larry removed the silver needles and tossed them into a nearby trash can.
With the venom cleared, Abigail's consciousness returned a bit.
Though her mind was fuzzy, she knew what had happened. Knowing Larry had saved her, she weakly said, "Thank you."
Larry waved it off, "No problem."
Orion was stunned and exclaimed, "No way! How could a few silver needles expel the venom? I know, the snake that bit Abigail was raised by you, which is why you know how to treat her."
Everyone looked at Larry, who smiled faintly.
He really liked to accuse people.
"Larry, I didn't expect you to raise venomous snakes."
"What are you doing? Trying to show off and win Abigail's favor? You have a wife, and Abigail is your wife's friend."
"You're really twisted."
People started cursing.
