Chapter 267 Getting Chloe into the Top 100

Chloe rolled her eyes. She thought Larry had a real plan, but nope, he just suggested using her looks to get votes.

"Even if I get popular, that only counts for 50%. I don't know any medical stuff, so I can't get votes from patients. There's no way I'll make it into the top 100 like this."

Larry gave a sly smile. "Leave it to me. You go shopping, and I'll handle the rest."

Chloe sighed but nodded. "Alright then."

Medical Street was buzzing, so she decided to check it out.

After saying goodbye to Larry, she took off.

Larry plopped down on the clinic steps and called Matthew, the head honcho at Pillar Pharmacy, who usually didn't see patients.

Matthew was in the middle of a chat with some medical experts about an upcoming competition when his phone buzzed.

He saw it was Larry and quickly found a quiet spot. "Larry, what's up now?" he whispered.

Larry, with a cigarette dangling from his lips, said casually, "I got chased this morning. They didn't kill me, but they threatened me with my wife, made me take poison, and now I've lost my sense of taste and my movements are stiff."

"Are you okay?"

"Yeah, I'm fine."

"So, what do you need?"

Larry instructed, "Use the underground intel network to find out who tried to kill me this morning. I need to know who's behind it, but keep it on the down-low."

"Larry, the medical conference just started, and I'm swamped. Valerian's running the network now. Can you call him directly?"

"Oh, and one more thing."

"Go ahead," Matthew said, sounding annoyed.

Larry said, "My wife Chloe registered as a doctor at the Global Nexus Group clinic. You were the top doc last year, and Pillar Pharmacy and some big companies developed this software. Get Chloe's profile on the homepage. I want more people to vote for her."

"Alright, I'll take care of it."

Matthew hung up and called the tech department, telling them to put Chloe on the homepage to boost her exposure.

After that, Larry called Sue.

Sue picked up. "Larry."

Larry got straight to the point. "Spend some money to hire people to book appointments with Chloe on the software."

Sue was taken aback. What kind of move was this?

"Larry, what are you trying to do?"

Larry chuckled awkwardly. "Nothing much, just trying to make Chloe a top doctor during this conference, get her into the top 100, and qualify for the next rounds."

"Alright, no problem. How many people should I hire?"

Larry said, "Hire enough to surpass the first place by ten to twenty thousand."

Sue replied, "Got it."

After hanging up, she sat in her office, looking a bit helpless.

Spending money to boost popularity to get into the top 100 of the medical conference?

She knew about the medical conference. During the first three days, while all the clinics on Medical Street tried to boost their popularity for profit, Larry spent money to get Chloe into the top 100.

But then what? Could she compete with those renowned doctors with decades of experience?

She sighed but didn't dare to disobey Larry's orders.

She went to Abigail's office.

Abigail was going over some plans when she saw Sue walk in. She immediately put down the documents and stood up. "Chairwoman."

Sue waved her hand slightly. "I have a task for you."

"Go ahead."

Sue said, "Set up a temporary department ASAP to find people online to book appointments with Chloe on the medical app. Each appointment gets ten bucks. If they actually go to Medical Street, see Chloe, and vote for her, they get a hundred bucks."

Abigail was taken aback, not quite getting it at first. "What's this about?"

Sue coughed awkwardly. "Larry wants to get Chloe into the top 100 of the medical conference."

Abigail suddenly got it. "Oh, I see. Got it."

She jumped into action, quickly setting up a temporary department and gathering hundreds of people from various departments. Each of these folks created WhatsApp groups, each with over a thousand members.

[Good news! Download the medical app, search "Global Nexus Group," book Dr. Chloe for 10. Visit Medical Street, see Dr.Chloe, and vote for100.]

Hundreds of WhatsApp groups started buzzing with this message.

Some people, a bit skeptical, registered and booked an appointment with Chloe, then sent a screenshot to the group admin.

Sure enough, they quickly got their reward.

"It's real, there's a reward."

"Mom, give me your phone. I want to register and make money."

After trying it out, those who benefited started using their relatives' phones to download the medical app, register, book appointments, and then claim the rewards from the group admin.

Abigail also downloaded the medical app.

In just an hour, Chloe's appointment numbers hit three thousand.

But three thousand appointments didn't even get her into the top 100.

The current top spot on the appointment list was Lucy, with over two hundred thousand appointments, and her appointment fee was sky-high at three thousand bucks per person.

Chloe was an unknown doctor. After registering, she didn't set an appointment fee, so her fee was zero.

"Increase the promotion, create more groups, and get more people."

Abigail gave the order.

The team got the message and ramped up the promotion.

Larry sat at the Global Nexus Group clinic door, pretending to be stiff.

He was putting on a show for those watching in the shadows.

He knew someone was definitely watching him.

"Is Dr. Chloe here?"

A seventeen or eighteen-year-old guy walked up, eyeing Larry sitting on the doorstep, and tentatively asked, "I heard that if I see Dr. Chloe and vote for her, I'll get a hundred bucks. Is that true?"

Larry burst out laughing.

"It's true. You don't even need to come. Just click 'complete diagnosis' on the medical app and give a good review. You'll get a system ticket to vote for Chloe."

"Alright."

The guy followed the instructions. He quickly got a ticket, voted for Chloe, and sent a screenshot to a group admin. He immediately received the hundred-buck reward.

Excitedly, he pulled people into the group, urging family and friends to make money.

Larry opened the medical app and saw Chloe's profile on the homepage. Her appointments had surpassed a hundred thousand, putting her in the top three. She had over thirty diagnoses and patient votes, with numbers rapidly increasing.

Larry laughed out loud. At this rate, Chloe making the top 100 was a sure thing.
