Chapter 24 Reversal

Outside Pavilion Restaurant, dozens of people were waiting.

These people were all in line to eat. Previously, they had been discussing Free King, but now, hearing Larry's words, the people waiting at the door burst into laughter.

"A diamond private room? This son-in-law of the Lewis family sure knows how to brag."

"He's just a loser who can't even afford a car. Recently, he was riding an electric bike every day to pick up Chloe from the Everjoy Company. A loser who can't even afford a car definitely can't book a diamond private room."

"I heard that the diamond private rooms at Pavilion Restaurant can't be booked just with money. The owner of Pavilion Restaurant comes from a prestigious family in Aurora Citadel, a true elite. In the entire Sunset City, the number of people who can book a diamond private room can be counted on one hand."

"Even the Four Great Families don't have the qualifications to go to the diamond private room."

Larry's words became a joke.

These unbearable comments once again angered Maria, and she immediately started scolding, "Larry, are you trying to embarrass us all?"

"Larry, stop talking." Chloe also pulled Larry. She was from Sunset City and knew the background of Pavilion Restaurant, understanding what a diamond private room at Pavilion Restaurant meant.

"Edward, where's your silver membership card? Take it out and show these poor folks what a silver membership card at Pavilion Restaurant looks like," Holly said, her head held high, with a look of pride on her face. She also glanced disdainfully at Maria, whose face was very unpleasant. Seeing Maria's embarrassed look made her happy.

Edward Wilson took out a pure white card. The card was very exquisite, with the words "Silver VIP" on it.

"So this is a silver membership card. It's my first time seeing one."

"As expected of someone from the Wilson family. I heard that to upgrade to a silver membership card, one need to spend 200 thousand dollars, and for a gold membership card, one need to spend over two million dollars. As for the diamond membership card, no matter how much one spend, it won't be issued. It needs to be personally issued by the owner of Pavilion Restaurant to someone they value."

"Edward is handsome, young and wealthy. Whoever marries him is truly fortunate."

Hearing the praise from the bystanders, Holly wore a brighter smile.

However, Maria was even more displeased.

This matter was about to blow over, but Larry's words brought her dignity crashing down again.

"Let's go." Holly, holding her husband's arm, entered Pavilion Restaurant under many envious gazes.

As she walked, she didn't forget to criticize Maria and the Lewis family, "Ten percent of the Everjoy Company shares? The whole Sunset City knows Scott is a loser, had an ugly daughter, and took in a loser son-in-law. It's hilarious."

Hearing these unbearable words, Chole's family members wore a long face.

Especially Maria, whose gritted teeth and angry expression made Chloe shrink back and hide behind Larry.

At this moment, a series of hurried footsteps approached.

A tall, handsome man in his mid-twenties, dressed in a white shirt, quickly walked out.

"It's Samuel Harper, the owner of Pavilion Restaurant."

"Now this is a truly low-key but capable person."

"I heard Samuel is a member of the Harper family from Aurora Citadel. He opened Pavilion Restaurant in Sunset City but rarely shows up. The outside world knows very little about him."

Seeing the handsome Samuel hurriedly walk out, countless young women looked at him with admiration. This was a true elite, far beyond the Four Great Families of Sunset City.

Samuel received a call and didn't dare to be negligent. He saw Holly's daughter, Fiona Johnson.

He thought she was Chloe and immediately bent over with a respectful face. "I'm sorry for the oversight. The diamond private room is ready. Please come inside."

What?

This scene shocked many people outside Pavilion Restaurant.

"The Wilson family is really impressive, even the owner of Pavilion Restaurant personally came out to greet them."

"Yeah, the Johnson family is really lucky to have a good daughter who married into the wealthy Wilson family. It seems Edward has a special relationship with the owner of Pavilion Restaurant."

Hearing the surrounding discussions, Holly's family was also dumbfounded.

Edward was equally confused, thinking, 'What is going on? I have only booked a silver private room and have never met the owner of Pavilion Restaurant. Why would the owner personally come to greet us?'

However, as he saw the famous owner of Pavilion Restaurant personally come to greet him, the pride on his face grew stronger. He held Fiona close, enjoying the envious looks from the crowd.

Holly was even more pleased, turning around to give Maria a haughty look and a proud humph.

Maria was fuming inside, blaming everything on Larry. It was this useless man who had no skills at all.

"You useless man! Look at them! They're doing so well that even the owner of Pavilion Restaurant personally came to greet them," Maria scolded Larry harshly, and Larry frowned slightly.

He trusted Frank to handle things. But he didn't understand why this was happening now.

He looked at Samuel, who was standing at the door, bent over, and immediately understood.

Samuel must have mistaken someone else for Chloe, and Holly's family happened to enter, making him think Fiona was Chloe.

He raised his voice and shouted, "Chloe, let's not eat here. Let's go back."

Saying this, he pulled Chloe to leave.

Samuel, standing at the door, heard the name and shuddered. He looked up and saw Larry and Chloe turning around. He immediately broke into a cold sweat and slapped himself.

He had been too hasty and mistaken the person.

He quickly chased after them, appearing in front of Chloe with a respectful face, and asked, "Are you Ms. Lewis?"

Chloe was stunned and nodded blankly. "Yes, I am."

"Ms. Lewis, the diamond private room is ready. Please come inside."

The plot twist was so fast that everyone was stunned, not knowing what was happening.

Maria, Scott, Sam, and Mindy were all dumbfounded.

They had never met the owner of Pavilion Restaurant but had heard that he was not from Sunset City but from Aurora Citadel, a truly important figure.

"Do you mean the diamond private room is booked for our Chloe?" Maria asked with uncertainty on her face.

"You must be Chloe's mother, right? Please, come inside! Waiters, what are you doing? Hurry up and welcome the guests!" With Samuel's shout, dozens of waiters immediately came out, standing in two rows, bowing.

"Welcome, esteemed guests." The voices were neat and loud.

"Security, throw these people out!" Samuel looked at Holly and her family, who were still standing at the door in confusion, and immediately gave the order.

It was because of these people that he had mistaken the identity.

Although he had never met Black Dragon, this was an order from Black Dragon to book a private room for Chloe. He couldn't afford to be negligent. If he offended her, it would be his doomsday!

So, a group of security guards came over and started to drive Holly and her family out.

Under the watchful eyes of many people, they were all driven out.

Seeing this scene, Maria laughed.

Although she didn't know what was going on, seeing Holly being humiliated made her very happy.

Watching Holly and her family being driven out, she bent over with laughter, pointing at Holly. "This is hilarious. A diamond private room? Do you think you deserve it?"
