Chapter 455 Della
Tony was someone Della knew all too well.
He was the classic school bully, always surrounded by his goons, strutting around like he owned the place. If she ended up in Tony's clutches, it would be a nightmare.
Her priority now was to find a way to escape.
"You little witch, messing up my plans," Tony growled as he approached Della. He looked her up and down; she had the face and the figure, her skin glowing with youth. It was enough to make anyone feel good just looking at her.
"Since you know what's good for you, come with me. Make me happy, and I'll forget all about our little feud."
"Sure thing, Tony," Della replied with a bright smile.
Then, without warning, she shoved one of the guys aside and bolted.
But she was just one girl against a group of boys. They caught up to her in no time, yanking her hair and pinning her against the wall.
Tony walked over, grabbed her hair, and slapped her hard across the face. "You dare to mess with me? How stupid can you be?"
The slap was so forceful that it left a mark on Della's face, and blood trickled from her mouth.
The blow left her dazed, her mind reeling. It took her several seconds to come back to her senses.
"Tony, I'm sorry. Please, let me go this time."
"Now you realize your mistake? Too late. Take her away."
"What do you think you're doing?" a voice demanded.
A guy and a girl approached.
It was Larry and Paisley.
Tony glanced at Larry, then at Paisley.
His eyes lit up.
Despite being only a high school senior, Tony was precocious. He had been sexually active since middle school and had several years of experience.
He had mostly been with younger girls, never with a mature, sexy woman.
Paisley was the epitome of perfection.
Seeing her, Tony's heart raced.
He walked over with a bright smile. "Hello, miss. I'm Tony. My dad is the chairman of Luminary Holdings Ltd. Our family is worth billions. Be my lover, and I promise you'll enjoy endless wealth and luxury."
Paisley laughed.
In all her life, no one had dared to flirt with her like this.
And from a kid, no less.
Larry glanced at Tony and pointed at Della, saying, "Let her go."
"Mind your own business," Tony snarled. "I'll give you one chance to leave, or I'll break your legs."
Larry didn't want to hurt students.
But these kids were too arrogant. If they weren't taught a lesson, they'd cause trouble sooner or later.
Tony's gaze lingered on Paisley, admiring her flawless face and ample chest. He couldn't help but swallow hard as he reached out to grab her.
But Paisley casually raised her hand and delivered a seemingly gentle slap.
Despite its softness, the slap packed a powerful punch.
Tony was sent flying, landing hard on the ground.
"How dare you hit back? Get her!" Tony roared in anger.
His cronies advanced on Paisley, looking menacing.
"Larry, should I handle these kids?" Paisley asked with a smirk.
"If I step in, it wouldn't look good. People might laugh," Larry replied calmly.
Their casual conversation infuriated Tony.
He felt deeply humiliated.
He pulled out a switchblade and approached Paisley, threatening, "You dare hit me? You dare look down on me? I'll kill you."
He swung the knife at her face.
Larry swiftly grabbed Tony's wrist.
Tony struggled but couldn't break free. Within seconds, his face turned red as he shouted, "Shit, let go!"
Larry released him, then kicked him hard.
Tony flew several feet, landing with a thud.
The other students were stunned.
That kick was incredibly strong.
"What are you waiting for? Get him!" Tony yelled from the ground.
The students pulled out their switchblades, trying to intimidate Larry.
But Larry charged at them.
Seconds later.
They were all on the ground, groaning in pain.
Della stared at Larry, amazed. She couldn't believe how easily he had taken them down.
"Thanks," Della said, turning to leave.
"Della, wait," Larry called out.
Della turned, puzzled. "Do you know me?"
Larry walked over. "I'm Graham's comrade."
"Oh, no wonder you're so skilled. But Graham is dead. Why are you here?"
Recently, the military had informed her of Graham's death and given her compensation.
"Graham's dying wish was for me to look after you," Larry said, looking at the seventeen or eighteen-year-old girl. "If you need any help, just ask. I'll do my best."
Della stared at Larry.
He looked familiar, but she couldn't place him.
After a moment, her eyes widened in shock. "You... you're Larry?"
She recognized him.
He was Larry, the Black Dragon, the war hero of Summer Nation.
Recently, Larry's public trial had been widely covered, and she had watched his live broadcast.
No wonder he seemed familiar.
Larry nodded.
"Oh my God, it's really you! Graham talked about you all the time," Della said excitedly, rushing over. She pulled out a pen and lifted her skirt, asking, "Please, give me your autograph."
Larry chuckled.
An autograph?
He wasn't a celebrity.
But he took the pen and signed his name on Della's white skirt.
Meanwhile, Tony and his friends had gotten up.
Tony glared. "I'll remember you. This isn't over."
With that, he and his gang left.
Larry ignored Tony.
After signing, he handed the pen back to Della.
Della moved closer to Larry, took out her phone, and snapped a few pictures.
Seeing that Larry didn't object, she grew bolder, wrapping her arm around him for more selfies.
Finally, she handed the phone to Larry. "Larry, take a picture of me."
Larry took the phone.
As soon as he did, Della wrapped her arms around his shoulders and her legs around his waist, hanging on him.
Larry chuckled.
But he took a few pictures.
Della looked at the photos, satisfied, and smiled.
