Chapter 376 Return to Sunset City
                    "Absolutely."
Larry's face lit up with a bright smile.
"That little Gu won't be able to stop me. One day, I'll return to the Hall of Judgment, pick up the Execution Sword, and bring justice to those who deserve it."
"Haha, I'll be waiting for your glorious return. But I'm afraid you might not get the chance. I've heard Sunset City is in chaos, and you've offended quite a few big shots there. They all want you dead. Do you think you'll be safe if you go back? If you ask me, you should stay in Aurora Citadel. At least here, no one dares to harm you."
Alistair's smile was cold and sinister, sending chills down one's spine.
"Abigail, let's go back."
Larry didn't say much more.
"Okay."
Abigail pushed Larry's wheelchair, and they left.
They went to the nearby parking lot, got in the car, and drove back to the hotel.
Soon, they arrived at the hotel.
Back at the hotel, Larry felt hungry again.
He rubbed his stomach, looking a bit embarrassed. "I'm a bit hungry. Could you order some food for me?"
He didn't want to trouble Abigail anymore.
For the past few days, Abigail had been by his side, taking care of him and protecting him.
He understood Abigail's feelings.
The more she did for him, the more embarrassed he felt.
Because he didn't know how to repay her kindness.
But his body was in bad shape, weak and powerless. Lying down was fine, but if he had to do everything himself, he'd be exhausted.
"I'll call room service."
Abigail picked up the phone and called the hotel.
Larry instructed, "By the way, get me a plane ticket. I need to go back to Sunset City."
"Alright."
After ordering the food, Abigail started booking the ticket online. She muttered to herself, "There's not much to do in Aurora Citadel anyway. I'll go back to Sunset City with you. At least I have a house there."
She looked at Larry.
"Larry, where do you plan to stay in Sunset City? If you don't have a place, you can stay at my house. I just bought a villa, and it's just me living there."
"How can I accept that?"
Larry looked embarrassed, scratching his head. "I've already troubled you enough these past few days. When we get to Sunset City, I won't bother you anymore."
"But you don't have a place to stay in Sunset City. Are you planning to go back to the Lewis family?" Abigail stared at Larry.
Larry fell silent.
Go back?
Could he really go back?
Once, he was one of the Five Great Marshals of Summer Nation, the guardian war god, and the secret owner of the Epoch Group. He had planned to reveal everything after resolving his issues and having a world-renowned wedding with Chloe.
Now, he was nothing.
He knew what kind of people the Lewis family were.
Given his current status, even if Chloe was willing to accept him again, the Lewis family would never agree.
He shook his head slightly, pushing these chaotic thoughts out of his mind.
He didn't say anything, but Abigail understood his thoughts.
Abigail smiled and said, "Actually, Chloe is quite nice. You had many misunderstandings before, but now they're all cleared up. If you're willing, I believe Chloe would definitely remarry you."
"Remarry? Is that even possible?"
Larry murmured softly, then shook his head. "Forget it, let's not talk about this."
Larry didn't want to think about relationships right now.
His priority was to recover his health.
To deal with the Gu.
Not only was he poisoned by the Gu, but Chloe was also affected.
Chloe was innocent, dragged into this because of him.
If it weren't for him, Chloe wouldn't have suffered.
He felt deeply guilty.
The room fell into a brief silence.
There was a knock on the door.
Abigail stood up and said, "That should be the food delivery."
She got up to open the door.
Sure enough, it was the hotel staff delivering the food.
In the room, the two sat at the table, eating absentmindedly.
As they ate, they both looked up at the same time.
Their eyes met.
Abigail's face instantly turned red. She hurriedly said, "Do you want more? I can order another serving."
Larry smiled slightly. "No, I'm good. I'm full."
"Oh, okay."
Abigail responded, "The flight is at 2 PM. If we check out now, we'll have just enough time."
Larry nodded. "Alright, let's check out then."
Abigail quickly left to handle the checkout.
Larry leaned back on the sofa, watching her leave. He murmured, "What is she thinking? Why did she suddenly blush?"
He leaned back on the sofa, lighting a cigarette.
Soon, Abigail had checked out.
They left the hotel and took a cab to the airport.
After waiting for about ten minutes, they began boarding.
The plane slowly took off.
On the flight to Sunset City, Larry closed his eyes to rest.
He drifted off and soon they arrived in Sunset City.
"Larry, we're here."
Abigail's voice woke him.
Larry opened his eyes slightly, rubbing his forehead. "We're here already?"
"Are you having a headache again?" Abigail's face showed concern. "I told you not to think too much."
Larry said weakly, "I wasn't thinking. I fell asleep, and my head started hurting."
"Here, let me help you."
Abigail helped Larry stand up.
They slowly got off the plane and left the airport.
Back in Sunset City, Larry felt a sense of disorientation. Returning to this place, everything felt different.
Outside the airport, Abigail asked, "Larry, where to now?"
"Wait, let me make a call." Larry took out his phone and called Free.
The call connected quickly.
"Larry, are you back in Sunset City?"
Larry said, "Yeah, I'm back. Where's Alden now?"
"He's in an apartment in the city. I'll send you the address right away."
"Okay."
Larry hung up.
Soon, he received a text from Free.
Larry looked at the address and said, "Take me to Starry Sky District first, then you can go home. Thanks for everything these past few days. Once I'm better, I'll treat you to a meal."
"Why are you being so formal? Starry Sky District, right?"
"Yeah."
Abigail hailed a cab.
She helped Larry into the car and told the driver, "To Starry Sky District."
"Got it."
The driver responded and started the car, heading to Starry Sky District.
Starry Sky District, an apartment.
Many people lived in this apartment.
The Eight Heavenly Dragons and the assassin king, Alden.
Alden had changed his clothes. He wore a black tank top, his beard was shaved, and he looked to be in his forties. He had a rugged appearance, wild and fierce, like a tiger, intimidating and powerful.
There was a knock on the door.
Lyra went to open it.
Seeing Larry, she smiled.
"Larry, you're back?"
"Yeah." Larry nodded and walked in.
Everyone in the room stood up simultaneously, calling out, "Boss."
Larry waved his hand slightly.
With Abigail's help, he sat down, looking at the Eight Heavenly Dragons standing nearby. He instructed, "Your identities are too conspicuous. In Sunset City, you'll attract too much attention. Go back to Southwild for now. If I need you, I'll call."
Everyone frowned.
Lyra looked displeased. "Larry, what do you mean? Are we bothering you in Sunset City?"
"That's not what I meant."
Larry explained, "Alistair is always watching me. If you're in Sunset City, it will affect my plans. Go back to Southwild. Southwild needs you more. Wait for me there. It won't be long before I return."
