Chapter 228 Apology
Visionary's lackey got sent flying with just one kick.
No one really got how strong that kick was, but they all saw the dude's body soar over two meters, hitting the ground with a nasty scream.
Larry strolled over, each step echoing like a drumbeat.
Visionary took a few steps back, fear flickering in his eyes. This was bad news. If that kick had been aimed at him, he'd be the one in agony.
"Can't even handle one kick?"
Larry stood over the lackey, looking down. With everyone watching, he lifted his foot and kicked hard again.
The guy rolled away like a ragdoll, smashing into tables and chairs.
"Stop, stop!"
The lackey was terrified. That kick had broken more bones, and the pain was unbearable. If this kept up, he was a goner.
Larry glanced at Visionary and said calmly, "That's just two kicks. Got over thirty more to go. Who's next?"
Visionary gulped. This so-called useless guy was actually terrifying.
"You, get in there."Visionary shoved another lackey forward.
With three million bucks on the line, he wasn't backing down.
The new lackey stepped up, trembling, "I'm not scared of you."
He said it, but his body was shaking like a leaf.
Larry walked over, grabbed his arm, and yanked it down. The lackey screamed, his face twisted in pain.
Larry punched him hard, sending him flying several feet, crashing into a table that shattered instantly.
The lackey lay on the ground, unable to get up, just screaming in pain.
Larry looked at Visionary again.
Not far away, Abigail was a bit surprised. She glanced at Chloe and said, "Didn't think Larry had some moves."
Chloe nodded, a bit helpless. Larry was a soldier with mad skills. She'd seen him take down dozens of people in minutes.
"Abigail, stop him. If this keeps up, something bad's gonna happen."
Abigail crossed her arms and smiled, "Visionary's not a good guy anyway. Let Larry teach him a lesson. I wanna see how Larry handles this."
For some reason, Abigail was getting more interested in Chloe's husband, Larry.
Chloe said, a bit annoyed, "My husband's not useless, just low-key. He's got mad skills in medicine and crazy strength."
"Sounds like Black Dragon." Abigail smirked.
Chloe frowned. When Abigail mentioned Black Dragon, she thought about it and realized it did seem similar.
Rumor had it Black Dragon was super powerful and skilled in medicine. Black Dragon was also named Larry.
Her husband was not only skilled in medicine but also super strong.
Chloe had a fleeting thought that her husband Larry was Black Dragon. The idea quickly passed through her mind.
She'd seen The Serpent Group's Larry, also Black Dragon Larry, and he was different from her husband. Plus, Black Dragon Larry was supposed to be dead, killed in Southwild.
Maple Grove Mansion, hall.
Larry walked step by step towards Visionary, "You got two more lackeys. I've barely started. The rest probably can't handle it."
Visionary looked at his lackeys writhing on the ground in pain, and a shiver ran down his spine.
Getting that cash wasn't gonna be a walk in the park.
"Larry, don't push me. Do you even know who I am and who's got my back? My boss is Zenith Dynamics. Mess with Zenith, and you're toast."
Visionary tried to throw out some threats, but Larry just kept walking towards him.
Visionary kept backing up, yelling, "What are you two standing there for? Get him!"
The two lackeys exchanged glances, then dropped to their knees, begging, "Larry, we got nothing to do with this. Please, let us go."
Visionary cursed and kicked them to the ground.
The crowd watched, amused. Who would've thought the Lewis Family's son-in-law from Sunset City was this tough?
Larry grabbed Visionary and tossed him towards Sawyer. Visionary hit the ground hard, busting his nose.
Sawyer stepped back, freaked out.
"I'll kill you!"
Visionary got up and pulled out a switchblade.
But before he could even stand, Larry kicked him down again, stepping on his face, pinning him. "Apologize to him," Larry demanded coldly.
"Larry, you're done for. You better let me go and kneel down, or else—"
Visionary screamed in pain.
Larry pressed harder with his foot. Visionary's face scraped against the ground, skin breaking and burning with pain.
"Apologize," Larry repeated.
"I'm sorry. I was wrong," Visionary finally caved.
Sawyer quickly said, "It's okay."
He looked at Larry with gratitude, "Thanks, let's leave it at that."
Larry let Visionary go. A girl rushed over, helping Visionary up, asking, "Honey, are you okay?"
Visionary's face was a bloody mess. He glared at Larry with pure hatred.
Larry pulled out his phone and called Sue.
"Tell the bank to pull back the three million bucks from my account, now."
Sue got on it, and soon enough, the money was back in Larry's account.
Visionary saw the money gone from his account and was so mad he spat blood.
He pointed at Larry, who just ignored him.
"Larry, I'll remember this. Just wait."
Visionary spat out a threat and left Maple Grove Mansion with his injured lackeys.
From a distance, Abigail squinted and smiled, "Larry's not useless after all. He's pretty ruthless."
Larry, meanwhile, was chilling with his classmates. Sawyer sat next to him.
Larry looked at him, "How've you been all these years?"
Sawyer looked a bit confused, "You talking to me?"
Larry felt a bit awkward, touched his nose, then stood up and patted Sawyer's shoulder, "Nah, wasn't talking to you."
Given his current situation, he couldn't say much. He walked to a corner sofa, pulled out his phone, and started playing his game.
Outside Maple Grove Mansion, Visionary sat in a car and made a call, "Zenith, I got beat up at Maple Grove Mansion. Bring a bunch of guys here, now. I want payback."
Visionary had never been so humiliated. He wanted revenge.
"Larry, just wait. I won't let you off. I want you to watch me and Chloe together."
"Abigail, you bitch, I'll make you beg under me," he cursed with pure hatred.
