Chapter 457 The General's Personal Visit

Larry's identity was no longer a secret.

It had been exposed during the last national trial.

However, the coffee shop was mostly filled with students, whose main focus was studying. They rarely paid attention to news or national affairs, so they didn't recognize Larry.

Even those who had seen the trial news didn't have a strong impression of Larry.

Tony sat down, crossed his legs, and pulled out an imported cigar, lighting it up. Despite his young age, he smoked with the practiced ease of a seasoned smoker.

Meanwhile...

General Lloyd, stationed in Meadowbrook City, received a call from Larry and was furious.

"Quick, notify Atlas Johnson!"

Immediately, a deputy walked in, puzzled. "General, what's wrong?"

Lloyd, fuming, cursed, "Dragon King just called, saying Atlas's son is causing trouble at school. Atlas needs to go there personally."

"What, Dragon King?"

"Stop babbling and make the call! Also, get the car ready. I'm heading to Seattle High School."

Lloyd had just dropped Larry off at Seattle High School and returned, but now there was trouble, and he had to go.

On the street next to Seattle High School, in the coffee shop...

Tony smoked his cigar, looking smug, with his legs crossed and foot tapping, glaring at Larry. "Kid, let's see what you can do."

His gaze then shifted to Paisley, and he couldn't help but swallow.

"I'm telling you, this isn't over."

Larry remained calm.

Della was also composed.

If it were anyone else, she might be worried, because Tony wasn't just any person; he was a true rich kid.

But Larry wasn't just any person either. He was the Supreme Commander of the Southwild Black Dragon Army, one of the Four Great Marshals of Summer Nation. Since Alistair's death, the Legion of Flame Surge had been without a commander.

They waited together.

Time ticked by.

About half an hour later, a dozen military vehicles appeared near the school, sealing off the street.

Tony was getting impatient, standing up and snapping, "Kid, didn't you say my dad would come? Where is he?"

Larry smiled faintly.

At that moment, some soldiers walked in.

Leading them was Lloyd.

Lloyd scanned the coffee shop, noticing Atlas hadn't arrived yet, and cursed, "Where the hell is Atlas?"

The deputy whispered, "We called him, but he said he's in a meeting and will come right after."

"Shit!"

Lloyd cursed, pulling out his phone and calling Atlas, shouting, "Get your ass over here now!"

The people in the coffee shop saw the soldiers and exchanged glances, staying quiet.

"Mr. Wallace."

Tony stood up, offering a cigar with a smile. "What brings you here?"

The Moore Family had some ties with the Johnson family, so Tony knew Lloyd.

"Smack!"

Lloyd slapped him hard.

The slap echoed loudly.

Tony was stunned.

"What did you do?"

After the slap, Lloyd kicked Tony to the ground, punching and kicking him.

"General, what are you doing? He's just a kid. Is this how you teach kids?" Larry said calmly.

Lloyd then walked over, respectfully addressing Larry, "Dragon King, what did this bastard do?"

Dragon King?

The coffee shop owner and students were shocked.

This was a one-star general.

Why was he so respectful to this young man?

Many eyes turned to Larry.

Some students pulled out their phones, searching "Dragon King."

Results popped up: news of Larry being titled Dragon King.

This was supposed to be confidential, but the news had spread within certain circles, though outsiders were unaware.

"Dragon King! Larry Dragon King, Supreme Commander of the Black Dragon Army!"

Someone exclaimed.

Larry's identity was exposed.

The people in the coffee shop stared at Larry in astonishment.

Tony, dazed from the beating, got up, holding his reddened face. "Mr. Wallace, it's me, Tony. Why did you hit me?"

He still hadn't grasped what was happening.

Lloyd shouted, "You idiot, kneel!"

The shout stunned Tony.

His legs gave way, and he knelt.

Lloyd then looked at Larry, smiling apologetically. "Dragon King, what did this kid do?"

Larry looked at Della beside him. "You tell him."

With Larry there, Della wasn't afraid. She said directly, "Last night, he invited some female classmates to a karaoke bar, got one of them drunk, and took her to a hotel room. I caught him and called the police. The police arrived and arrested him. But he found out I reported him and came to retaliate today."

Larry said calmly, "It seems Meadowbrook City isn't very clean, with collusion between officials and businessmen."

Lloyd immediately responded, "We'll investigate thoroughly. No one involved will be spared."

Larry said, "She's the family of a national hero. Her brother died in service. I came to check on her, but so much has happened. I don't want her to face threats or bullying after I leave Meadowbrook City."

Lloyd promised, "Dragon King, rest assured. From now on, anyone who bullies her will be opposing me."

"So, General, you're saying you're untouchable?" Larry glanced at Lloyd.

Lloyd quickly corrected himself, "Dragon King, that's not what I meant. I mean, in Meadowbrook City, if this young lady faces any trouble, she can call me, and I'll help her."

Larry knew Lloyd might not be clean.

But it wasn't within his jurisdiction, and he didn't care to intervene.

Moreover, Summer Nation was vast, and such issues were common. Eradicating them completely was too difficult.

What he could do was mention it to the king when he returned to Aurora Citadel, so the king could send someone to investigate.

Now that Lloyd had made a promise, Larry could leave for Sunset City with peace of mind.

He stood up, looking at the seventeen-year-old Della. "I have other matters to handle in Sunset City, so I'll head back. If you need anything, contact Mr. Wallace."

"Okay."

Della nodded. "Go ahead. I'll visit you during my break."

"Let's go."

Larry didn't linger, saying a word to Paisley before turning to leave.

After leaving, Larry used his connections to find Della's current bank account and transferred ten million dollars to her.

About fifteen minutes after they left, Atlas arrived.

Learning what had happened, he apologized to Della, asking, "Della, are you still upset?"

Della put on her headphones, saying calmly, "What do you mean, am I still upset? I didn't lose anything. But during this time, he's bullied many female classmates at school. I heard last month he drove a girl to jump off a building, and the Johnson family paid to cover it up."

She glanced at Lloyd, showing her white teeth. "General, you should investigate this thoroughly. I'll contact Larry. If you protect anyone, you might be the next Alistair."

Lloyd shivered, immediately saying, "We'll investigate thoroughly. No one will be spared."

Della pulled out her phone, turned on music, and left, shaking her head to the rhythm, under many people's gaze.
