Chapter 222 I Don't Believe You.

Winona didn't want to meet his gaze and casually said, "Mr. Bailey is biased toward Ms. Clark, not just once or twice. It's not surprising that he came here again."

The man stared at her, not saying a word except for a cold smile.

After Winona turned around and left upon realizing the connection between last night's incident and Fiona, she asked the manager for the surveillance footage of the private room she was in last night, as well as the opened bottles and glasses. If Ann and Lily were really in the room the whole time, it should be evident where she was called from.

The manager, with a respectful attitude, said, "I can provide you with the surveillance footage, but Mr. Bailey had the bottles and glasses sent to the testing center last night. I will give you the results as soon as they are available."

Winona frowned and asked, "Which testing center?"

Zachary, who had been silent all along, spoke indifferently, "What do you want to do?"

Winona didn't hide anything. She knew she couldn't hide it, and he would definitely find out. "I want to have the samples re-evaluated by someone else."

Facing the man's angry gaze, she showed no fear or retreat as she added, "I don't trust you."

Zachary kept his eyes on her, and after she finished speaking, he glanced at Matthew, who was standing beside her.

Winona's voice and demeanor instantly changed, completely different from when she faced Zachary. "Matthew, let's go."

Just as they were about to leave, Zachary reached out and tightly held her arm. He gritted his teeth and said, "You wait here."

When Fiona was called over, it was the busiest time at the Night Club.

The person who arrived was dressed in the uniform of a Night Club server. He informed her that Zachary was looking for her, then promptly led her straight through the bustling area and into the quiet office section.

This made her feel a little uneasy. She stopped and asked with a frown, "Where are you taking me? I thought Zachary was looking for me."

The server replied, "We're here." He knocked on the door and pushed it open after receiving a response.

Everyone else had already left the office, leaving only Zachary and Winona.

Fiona was speechless.

She was delighted that Zachary had taken the initiative to find her. Since the beginning of the year, he had completely ignored her, not answering her calls or messages. When she went to the Bailey Group to find him, the secretary even stopped her from entering.

Now that Zachary was reaching out to her on his own, Fiona couldn't help but wonder about his motives. She suspected it must be related to the events of the previous night. Perhaps Zachary, knowing Winona's character, was reconsidering his feelings and seeking solace in their past connection.

Fiona didn't dare to be as aloof as before. She put on an exquisite makeup in the car and wore her favorite clothes. She already had a graceful posture from years of dancing, and now, with the deliberate makeup, she looked even more elegant and charming.

But when she saw Winona, all of that disappeared. Her hips, which she had been swaying, returned to normal.

Apart from not wanting to appear too humble in front of Winona, Fiona also felt ignored by the man who had called her since she entered. He didn't even glance at her, not even a side glance.

Fiona forced a smile and asked, "Zachary, did you have something to discuss with me?"

Zachary raised his chin. His face, which had been cold all afternoon, was starting to stiffen. "Not me, but she does."

Now, Fiona couldn't even maintain her forced smile. This scene was different from what she had imagined, where Zachary would be furious and disgusted with Winona.

Could it be that something went wrong with what happened last night?

In order to avoid giving anyone a handle, she didn't ask someone she trusted to do it but randomly found a customer at the Night Club. He used the name of the VIP princess, so there was no way to contact her afterward.

Her ideal choice was actually Matthew.

In Zachary's mind, his relationship with Winona had always been like a thorn. If they slept together, Zachary would have no chance with Winona.

But that man refused.

Fiona was disappointed but not surprised. Matthew, seen in a positive light, possessed integrity, principles, and a strong sense of pride. He refused to resort to manipulative tactics to win over a woman, but the downside was his naivety.

For him, once he claimed someone, the means used to possess them mattered little.

With a calm face, she turned her gaze to Winona. " If Mrs. Sullivan wishes to discuss something with me, she can contact me directly. There's no need to go around in circles and show off in this manner. If you genuinely care for Zachary, treat him as a man worthy of sincere pursuit, not as a mere tool for your display."

Winona didn't want to pay attention to Fiona's deceptive tactics. She didn't want Zachary anymore, so why would she care about what he thought?

She pointed directly at the video and asked, getting straight to the point, "You're the one who spoke to me at the restroom entrance last night, right?"

Originally, Fiona was a bit nervous because of Winona's words. She had only approached Winona last night after making sure Winona was already in a confused state. Not only did she disguise her appearance, but she also altered her voice. However, even so, she couldn't be certain that Winona wouldn't recognize her.

She initially thought that Winona had noticed something and that was why she was directly questioning her. But as Fiona followed the direction of Winona's finger with her gaze, she couldn't help but sneer, "You think you can tarnish me with just this video?"
