Chapter 295 He Had Sexual Dysfunction

Zachary didn't just wear a cold expression; his voice matched his frosty demeanor. The chill he exuded seemed to suck the liveliness out of the vibrant atmosphere, creating an awkward void in the midst of the club's buzz.

At that moment, Winona was mid-gesture, ready to share something with Eva, grinning. But as she laid eyes on Zachary looming in front of her, her smile faded, and she straightened up, a tinge of guilt creeping in.

However, upon quick reflection, she realized they were already divorced, and whatever she did was her own business. No need to feel guilty.

She frowned slightly, her straight back relaxing as she said, "This is..."

Before she could finish, Zachary yanked her up from the sofa booth, half-dragging, half-carrying her away.

In less than thirty seconds, the swift exchange unfolded. Eva shook off her drunkness, a radiant smile gracing her features. Standing up, she uttered, "Zachary..."

"Miss Turner," Zachary cut her off politely, "I need to talk to my wife. To make up for it, all your expenses tonight at the Night Club are on me."

Eva's expression was hard to read under the flickering lights. "Mr. Bailey and Winona..."

She only got halfway through before changing her words, "It's not often I have company"

"I'll arrange for someone to join you."

Two minutes after Zachary left with Winona, the manager led over twenty hosts and hostresses in Night Club uniforms to stand in front of Eva, bowing respectfully. "Miss Turner, Mr. Bailey said you can choose anyone, or keep them all."

The scene was pretty grand, and in the main hall with the manager personally serving, it instantly grabbed a lot of attention.

Eva's gaze swept over the group, and she casually pointed to one. "Her."

Zachary took Winona to an upstairs private room where Samuel lounged, casually enjoying his beverage. At the sound of the door creaking open, he glanced in their direction.

Seeing Winona, he nodded slightly and greeted her, "Miss Sullivan."

Winona was about to respond when Zachary's voice cut in, "I told you not to hang out with Eva. Why didn't you listen?"

There were only the three of them in the room, and the music wasn't on. Zachary's anger was clear in his tone, his brows furrowed tightly.

The atmosphere instantly got tense.

Winona had a soft but stubborn personality, so even though she knew Zachary meant well, she didn't give in when he was so harsh. "Who I get close to is my business. You have no right to interfere. We're already divorced."

Zachary got irritated whenever he heard the word "divorce." Winona never missed a chance to remind him, as if she wanted to brand the word on him. "Do you know what kind of person Eva is?"

"She's quite outstanding. Top of her class from childhood, a campus stunner, skilled in various arts, took multiple courses in college, and won many awards."

Zachary waited patiently for her to finish, then asked with a bitter smile, "Do you know why she's so outstanding?"

Winona fell silent.

"Seems like you do. Knowing that, you still dare to get close to her?"

"I don’t know her that much."

After learning about Eva's identity, Winona had immediately texted Rodolfo, but he hadn't replied. She also had gone to Hillside Villa to find him, but he wasn't there.

Since their last fallout, Rodolfo hadn't appeared in front of her, as if he had vanished.

With Rodolfo being unresponsive, she had to hire a private detective, paying a high price for one from A City because they were more familiar with the Turner family and had more connections there.

Eva was indeed outstanding, excelling from a young age, with good grades and beauty. No matter which school or company she went to, she was always a top figure. However, both before and after her arrival, there were always people transferring or switching jobs.

This was quite common, but if those who left were better than her and subsequently faced difficulties in their later studies or work, it became suspicious.

Zachary, shielding Winona from these specifics, chose silence as her knowledge lacked depth. "Stay away from Eva and the Turner family."

Perched on the sofa, Winona quipped sardonically, "Then shall you charm her for intel?"

Zachary's face was expressionless, but it was clear he was angry, calling her name through gritted teeth, "Winona."

Samuel put down his empty glass, the warm light highlighting his handsome face, exuding an air of elegance. "It's not impossible. If all else fails, you can rely on your charm, and charm only."

Zachary's face turned icy, glaring at him. "Shut up and get out."

Initially viewed as a casual jest between friends, Winona's nonchalance waned as Zachary's response hinted at vulnerabilities laid bare, kindling a flame of fury.

Previous suspicions about Zachary's sexuality resurfaced as Samuel's words echoed, prompting wide-eyed astonishment from Winona as she questioned, "What do you mean ‘charm only’?"

Zachary pursed his lips, his eyes glaring at Samuel with a fiery intensity, but Samuel wasn't afraid. He remained nonchalant and replied, "You don't know?"

Seeing Winona's confused look, Samuel lazily explained, "Because your first time was too intense, and your reaction afterward was stronger than most women, it left a deep trauma on him. So, he struggled with intimacy after your union, fleeting from you like the plague for three years."

He really knew how to describe things.

"But he..."

Winona wanted to say that Zachary seemed well-functioning, and he had all the reactions a man should have when they were in a intimate moment. But she wasn't close to Samuel, and even if they were, discussing such matters with him was awkward.

Samuel had no such reservations. "It’s a psychological issue, not impotence."

He then wrinkled his nose in disdain. "If he has ED, he'd be useless. Might as well be dead."

Winona was speechless. If it weren't for the inappropriate setting, she would have given Mr. Anderson a thumbs up.

Zachary gritted his teeth. "You've got quite the mouth on you. Watch you don't talk yourself into a corner one day."

"You two, one doesn't talk, the other doesn't bother to ask. If we're really waiting for you two to resolve your issues and reunite, it'll probably only happen when you're in your graves," Samuel rolled his eyes and continued, "Why see a psychologist then? When you're dead, you're just piles of ashes. Might as well spend the money for therapy on a nice tomb, at least that's some enjoyment."

He stood up, dusting off imaginary dirt from his hands. "Alright, I have things to do. I'm leaving. Oh, by the way..."

He looked at Winona. "The doctor's advice is to try more. It's just a software issue, not hardware. Try a few more times, and it might work."
