Chapter 294 Clearly the Submissive Type

Zachary, that insufferable jerk, was biting her.

His bites were real, tingling sensations that mingled numbness with pain, brimming with evident frustration. The kiss was aggressive and impatient, his hand on her waist transitioning from warm to scorching.

His tongue ventured boldly, unsettling Winona. Reacting, she thrust her hand against his chest with determination.

The more she resisted, the fiercer Zachary's advances became. Winona retaliated by sinking her teeth into his tongue, drawing blood instantly.

With a pained groan, Zachary released her.

His tongue swept across his lips, leaving a noticeable bloodstain. Paired with his stunningly handsome face, he looked like the dark vampire prince who thrived on blood, strangely alluring rather than menacing.

Zachary wiped his lips with his fingertip, then casually showed the bloodstained finger to Winona with a hint of roguishness. "See, that wouldn’t work. I'm even bleeding."

Winona rolled her eyes.

"And judging by your expression, you seem quite eager to slap me."

She pushed him away forcefully, and this time Zachary obediently let her go and retreated to the driver's seat. He pulled out a tissue and elegantly wiped the blood from his lips.

Winona rubbed her lips with the back of her hand, finding no blood. "I told you to seduce Eva, not to play the brute and force a kiss."

"Oh, I see," Zachary responded lazily, "Dylan recommended a soap opera to me, and isn't this how men chase women in those shows?"

Winona glared at him and rubbed her lips harder with her sleeve, sneering. "Then go chase Miss Turner like this. I'm sure she'll blush and swoon at your feet in no time."

With that, she opened the car door and got out.

Zachary watched her walk away, his icy smile grew even frostier. This woman really had no conscience, asking him to seduce another woman.

Rebecca was standing at the café entrance, looking awkward as Winona stormed towards her. Earlier, she had received a message from Winona, instructing her to go ahead without her as she had something to take care of. Yet, upon exiting the café, the sight of Winona locked in a passionate kiss with Zachary in the passenger seat left her shocked and speechless.

She recalled how, just before heading upstairs, Winona had confidently assured her that she wouldn't go looking for Zachary. Yet, in such a short span of time, the two had kissed.

Rebecca couldn't help but imagine a love triangle, pointing at Winona's swollen, obviously mistreated lips. "Should I buy you a mask?"

Winona was about to speak when Eva came down the stairs, holding the handrail gracefully. "Winona, I didn't see Zachary. He came out with you, did you see him?"

"No." Winona lied, glancing at where Zachary's car had been parked, now replaced by another car.

In truth, suggesting that Zachary seduce Eva had merely been a ploy to provoke him, a tactic to divert his attention from her dealings with the Turner family. She had no real intention of orchestrating a setup between them. After all, who could say if Eva was trustworthy or not?

Eva's gaze swept over Winona's lips, then moved away as if she hadn't seen anything. "Alright then, we had a dinner plan, but he must have had an emergency. I have something to take care of too, see you tomorrow."

Rebecca squinted at Eva getting into a bedazzled car that sparkled in the sunlight, exclaiming, "She is not easy to deal with."

Winona raised an eyebrow. "What do you mean?"

"Let alone the rich, even ordinary people, when dating, want to investigate every relative and friend of their potential partner. They check for domestic violence, hereditary diseases, bad habits, and whether the parents are easy to get along with. I don't believe she just happened to come to Dreamopolis and fall for Zachary at first sight," Rebecca, who despised scheming women the most, frowned deeply.

"Even if that's the case, she must know you're Zachary's ex-wife. You go out together, and your lips are swollen. Anyone would make assumptions, yet she didn't ask a thing and pretended to ask if you'd seen Zachary. She's as scheming as..."

Rebecca's words suddenly stopped, her eyes widening in shock. Winona had never seen her so surprised and turned back in confusion. "What's wrong?"

Across the street, Anthony was holding a man, and just from the bulging muscles in his arms, they could feel the intensity of his grip.

Winona swallowed. "Mr. Lewis, he..."

Rebecca also swallowed, her dilated pupils returning to normal. "Quite a taste, but that man looks so delicate and obedient, clearly a twink."

Giving her friend a playful nudge with her elbow, she whispered urgently, "Come on, staring like this will only make it awkward if we're busted."
In her efforts to maintain her friendship with Anthony, Rebecca had toned down her usual self. By assisting him in acquiring a prized antique, she had cleverly secured a favor owed to her. If their covert glances were discovered, she knew not to count on his support later.

They quickly scurried away, afraid of being caught in the act.

Once in the car, Rebecca let out a long sigh. "Their chemistry is off the charts, it's a thrill to watch. Shame we can't openly ship them if they decide to keep things under wraps."

Thinking of her last favorite ship, she looked at Winona with a face full of sorrow.

'It probably won't last long,' Rebecca thought to herself.

Winona didn't know what she was thinking and wasn't interested in Anthony’s sexual orientation, her focus elsewhere as she stared at her phone. A message from Dylan popped up: [Stay away from Eva.]

It was clearly Zachary's style.

She didn't reply, locking her phone and tossing it into her bag.

In the following days, Eva came to the museum every day, and her relationship with Winona visibly grew closer.

In Night Club Saturday night, Eva wore a fitted black mini dress, holding a glass of beer, swaying her body slightly to the music.

She leaned into Winona's ear and said, "I heard in A City that Night Club is the most luxurious, safest, and most happening spot in Dreamopolis. Now that I'm here, I gotta admit, it tops all the places I've hit up before."

Winona was about to speak when she felt a presence looming over their table, a shadow falling across her.

She looked up, meeting Zachary's cold face. "You completely ignored what I said!"
