Chapter 612 We Go to Handle Marriage Procedures

"Whoa, slow down," Winona said, taken aback by Zachary's sudden question. "Touch what?"

Even as she asked, her body reacted instinctively, her hand already lifting.

Zachary didn't wait for Winona to move. He leaned in, lowering his head to press his lips to her forehead, then slowly trailing kisses downward, each touch warm and fleeting.

The air conditioning was set a bit high, making it comfortable even without a blanket.

As Zachary kissed her lips, Winona felt soft and warm. Her breath brushed against his face, a mix of warmth and a slight coolness that made him tighten his embrace.

Winona was his. After eleven years of secretly loving her, she was finally his.

Thinking of this, Zachary's arms tightened around her, a surge of emotion making him more passionate. What started as gentle kisses turned into something more intense, as he kissed her with fervor.

They were on the second floor, and the bustling night market below was lively. Even with the windows closed, the sounds of singing, chatting, and drinking seeped in.

Zachary, usually sensitive to noise, found himself unbothered, even enjoying the foreign city's lively atmosphere. "Winona," he murmured.

Winona felt so soft and warm in his arms that he didn't want to let go for even a second.

Zachary kissed her slender neck and prominent collarbone.

Winona had just finished freshening up, and the mix of scents filled Zachary's senses.

"Winona," he said in a husky voice, his eyes glazed with emotion. "After your competition, let's get married, okay?"

Their noses touched, and their breathing was heavy.

Winona didn't speak. The room was so quiet, and her heart, which had been racing, began to calm.

Zachary was so close that Winona could feel the slight vibrations in his chest as he spoke.

"Zachary, I need to tell you something."

The room was silent.

Zachary, hearing his name, lifted his head. The light cast a shadow on Winona's face. She wasn't smiling or blushing, just looking at him steadily.

Zachary's heart skipped a beat. "You already accepted my proposal. You can't back out."

He gritted his teeth, veins standing out on his forehead and neck, clearly trying to hold back.

Winona pushed at his shoulder, trying to sit up, but Zachary held her tighter, as if afraid she'd run away.

Unable to break free, she gave up and kissed him lightly on the lips. "Okay, we'll get married when we get back. I won't back out. I just wanted to say..."

She wanted to tell him she had her period and felt uneasy lying there for too long.

Hearing her agree to get married, Zachary was overjoyed. Before Winona could finish, he kissed her again. "Where's the stuff you bought?"

"What stuff?"

"The things you bought at the store."

Winona suddenly realized Zachary had misunderstood. Judging by his expression, he probably thought she had bought condoms. "In the bathroom. I'll get them."

She smiled mischievously, her eyes sparkling with temptation. She even hooked a finger around the thin strap of his waistband, teasing him.

"I'll get it."

Zachary got up and headed to the bathroom, not even bothering to put on shoes.

Watching his hurried retreat, Winona couldn't help but laugh. If it weren't for her period and the hassle of changing the sheets, she would have rolled around on the bed in glee.

A few minutes later.

Zachary came out of the bathroom, his face stern. He looked at Winona, who was now sitting up in bed, and said through gritted teeth, "Winona, are you messing with me?"

He had seen the sanitary pads on the tissue rack, the pink packaging unmistakable. He had thought she was being shy, but now he realized she had been playing with him, knowing he couldn't do anything because of her period.

It was so obvious, he didn't need to stay in there long. He just needed to cool down.

He was afraid of losing control and doing something he'd regret.

"No," Winona denied quickly. Even if that had been her intention, she wouldn't admit it now. "I just thought it looked nice and matched the black lingerie you helped me pick."

Her gaze fell on Zachary's partially covered hips.

She silently noted: He's well-endowed.

Feeling a rare moment of embarrassment, Winona looked away from Zachary's meaningful gaze. "We can save it for later."

Zachary stood by the bed, his height and long legs making Winona feel self-conscious. She avoided looking at him, knowing it would be a provocative sight.

He smiled, leaning down to meet her eyes, his voice low and magnetic. "We don't have to wait."

Winona: "I'm on my period. You wouldn't be that much of a beast, would you?"

"We can try something else," he suggested, kissing her nose. "Or..."

He looked at her lips as he spoke.

Zachary knelt on the bed, holding her waist, kissing her smooth shoulders, and caressing her slender waist.

His touch made Winona tremble.

She finally understood what it meant to ask for trouble.

She had been exhausted all day, and with her period making her more tired, she fell asleep as Zachary's passion grew.
