Chapter 333 Move Back to the Master Bedroom

Winona didn't believe it, but Zachary's words made her worry. She looked him over and asked, "You're hurt?"

Zachary stayed calm, but his eyes showed anger. "I work my butt off to support us, and I come home to see my girlfriend feeding another guy. You tell me, isn't that a serious wound?"

Winona wasn't into making her boyfriend jealous with other guys. No matter what happened between her and Zachary, she didn't want any misunderstandings.

She quickly explained, "The doctor didn't bring any anesthetic. Austin just cleaned the wound and has no strength in his hand."

Austin chimed in, "Yeah, can't even lift my arm."

Zachary stared at him.

After a few seconds, Zachary snorted, "I don't care. You have half an hour to get out of our house."

He then pulled Winona away.

Austin cried out, "Come on, we know each other. Don't be so heartless. Let Winona feed me. I haven't had a proper meal in two days."

Austin's voice was carefree, but if Winona turned back, she'd see the deep sadness in his eyes. His smile was just a facade, ready to break.

Winona was taken out of the room.

Her scent faded away.

Austin looked up at the ceiling. Under the light, his coldness, fatigue, and helplessness were clear.

After a while, he shook off the loneliness and looked at the food on the bedside table. He laughed at himself and went back to his usual nonchalant self. "Seems like nobody cares about me. I'm so hungry."

Just then, a burly man appeared at the door. "Mr. Bailey sent me to feed you."

Zachary dragged Winona to the master bedroom on the second floor.

As soon as they stepped inside, she was pinned against the door, the speed of his movement made her dizzy.

Zachary pressed his body against her, his knee pushing her legs apart, trapping her. He raised her hands above her head and pinned them to the door.

His dark eyes locked onto hers, and his free hand slipped under her shirt, slowly caressing her waist.

Zachary's hands, though not too rough, sent an unbearable itch through her skin.

He lowered his head slightly, his dark pupils reflecting Winona's small figure. His Adam's apple moved slowly.

His breath fell on her face, hot and tingly.

Winona tensed, her toes curling, instinctively tilting her head back.

This exposed her slender neck to Zachary.

He wanted to kiss it.

He chuckled softly.

Before Winona could understand his smile, Zachary's lips were on her neck, kissing it.

Winona lowered her head in surprise, but Zachary didn't let her escape, kissing her lips directly.

Winona's legs went weak, almost unable to stand. The hands Zachary had pinned to the door were now free, resting on his neck.

The kiss was long and deep, edging closer to losing control.

Winona struggled uncomfortably.

Zachary seemed to get angrier. His Adam's apple moved, and he bit her lip, saying fiercely, "You've never made such a fancy meal for me."

Winona calmly replied, "I did, but you were rushing Fiona to the hospital at the time."

Zachary remembered. Winona had called him then.

He touched Winona's lips, rosy from his kiss, with his fingertips. Then he said seriously, "I'm sorry."

His gaze was deep, focused, and sincere.

Winona wasn't used to this side of him and turned her head away. "It's all in the past."

"For you, it's in the past, but for me, it's the beginning."

Winona looked confused, not understanding at all.

Zachary didn't continue. He let her go. "I'm hungry. I want to eat."

Winona grabbed his arm, her voice soft and a bit coquettish, "Austin is seriously injured, and it seems like he offended someone."

Zachary frowned. "You have to set conditions to cook for your boyfriend?"

Winona let go and turned to open the door. "There's still some in the kitchen. I'll get you a plate."

Not sure if Zachary would come back to eat, she had made enough for three.

Zachary snorted. "I'm not eating his leftovers."

"It's still in the pot, untouched."

"It's still leftovers."

Winona gave him a speechless look, thinking he was being too stubborn.

When Zachary returned, Austin hadn't eaten yet, and the food was separately plated. How could it be considered leftovers?

But she needed his help, so she washed her hands and started cooking for Zachary again.

After showering and changing into loungewear, Zachary stood with his arms crossed, leaning against the kitchen doorframe, watching her busy herself.

Zachary's intense gaze fell on Winona. She was wearing a white boyfriend-style shirt and fitted jeans that were cropped, showing off her long, slender legs.

Feeling his increasingly invasive stare, Winona turned back in annoyance. "Why are you staring at me?"

If looks could strip someone, she'd be naked by now under Zachary's gaze.

Zachary raised an eyebrow and said honestly, "You look good."

Winona's heart fluttered, and her fingers tightened involuntarily.

Zachary rarely said sweet words. When he did, his words could stir up desire, which made them all the more moving.

Winona turned her head back. "Where did you learn that from?"

Despite her words, a thin layer of blush appeared on her neck and earlobes.

After dinner.

Zachary threw the dishes into the dishwasher. Winona wanted to check if Austin's fever had gone down, but before she could speak, Zachary said flatly, "Someone's watching him. You don't need to go."

"You agreed to let him stay here to recover?"

It had been two hours, and Zachary hadn't kicked Austin out, so he must have agreed to let him stay.

Zachary looked down at her. "On one condition: you move back to the master bedroom."
