Chapter 645 Only Dare to Be Aggressive at Home

Winona glanced down at Zachary's hand holding hers, then shot him a glare. "If I didn't trust you, you'd be sleeping in the hallway with a blanket right now."

Zachary had already arranged for the photographer and makeup artist, who were waiting at the door. He opened it and let them in.

Winona had a great natural look, and since Zachary insisted the photos shouldn't look too different from reality, the makeup, styling, and outfit selection took less than half an hour.

The shoot went smoothly. Although neither of them were professional models, their good looks and figures meant they looked great from almost any angle.

The photographer, who hadn't had such an easy job in a while, said, "Great, let's take a few more playful shots on the bed, and we'll be done."

As soon as Winona sat on the bed, she froze.

The bed wobbled!

It was a waterbed, meant to add a bit of fun. Now she understood why it was called a couple's room.

The photographer, reviewing the previous shots, noticed she wasn't moving and said, "Ms. Sullivan, no need to be nervous. Just like before is perfect."

Winona turned to look at Zachary, who was adjusting his clothes and not paying attention to her.

She made a sound to get his attention.

Zachary looked over, seeing Winona's stiff posture and the way she was signaling towards the bed.

Understanding her hint, Zachary smiled. He wanted to tease her but didn't want to push her too far. Holding back his laughter, he said, "You guys can leave now. That's it for today's shoot. I'll have these outfits sent to your studio tomorrow."

"Alright, Mr. Bailey."

Soon, it was just Winona and Zachary in the room. He walked over and sat next to her, causing the bed to move and making Winona's body bounce slightly.

He asked, "Do you like it?"

With no one else around, Winona relaxed completely. She leaned back on her hands, giving Zachary a playful look. "Hmm, not bad. Let's get started."

She even lifted a leg and placed it on Zachary, signaling him to hurry up.

Zachary wasn't sure they were talking about the same thing. "Get started with what?"

Winona lay back on the bed, saying calmly, "Serve me."

Her tone was casual, her eyes clear, without a hint of flirtation, yet it felt like she was subtly teasing him.

Zachary, who had hoped to see Winona flustered, said, "So you only act tough in private, huh?"

His hand slowly moved up her leg, his touch light, sending a tingling sensation through her. "Who was it that was so nervous just now?"

The feeling was almost unbearable.

Winona tried to pull her leg back, but Zachary stopped her, leaning over her, his hands becoming more daring.

She bit her lip hard, then kicked him in the leg, glaring at him in frustration. "Are you incapable or what?"

His deep eyes held an innocent smile. "I'm just savoring the foreplay. Besides, you get to decide if I'm capable."

He squeezed her chest, making her gasp and scold him breathlessly, "Get off, enough. Go wash up and sleep."

Zachary turned her face towards him. "Didn't you say you wanted me to serve you? I'm serving you now, so why are you mad?"

As dawn approached, Winona finally understood what Zachary meant by "you get to decide if I'm capable."

A month after the competition ended, things finally calmed down. The meetings and museum visits were mostly done.

Sitting at her long-abandoned desk, someone sighed, "Finally, back to normal work. The curator nearly drove me crazy. My body can't handle this much stress."

Just then, Caleb walked in with a few new faces. "These are the new interns. Get them settled. Windy, come to my office."

In the office, Caleb handed her a resume. "Everyone else has an assistant. You didn't get one when you joined because we were short-staffed. Look this over and see if he's a good fit."

Knowing it was an assistant's resume, Winona didn't even look at it. She handed it back. "No need. I'm used to working alone. Give it to someone else."

"Windy," Caleb said meaningfully, "maybe you should take one. It'd help with the small tasks. This guy, Michael Green, is a fan of yours. He joined the museum just to work with you."

Caleb looked embarrassed, which was rare for him. Winona couldn't help but laugh. "Curator, just tell me. Do I have to take him?"

Caleb pointed upwards, indicating the higher-ups were involved. "He's here to follow his idol. Just give him some minor tasks. These high-profile kids usually don't stick around long."

Since Caleb had personally asked, Winona had no choice. She opened the resume.

The man in the photo had a handsome face and a slight smile. Though his degree wasn't in their field, he had been drawing since childhood and had won awards. He seemed more than capable of handling assistant duties.

She hoped he wouldn't be too arrogant or use his connections to bully others.

Back in the workspace, the other interns were already busy. Only Michael was standing there, seemingly waiting for her.

Seeing her, Michael beamed. "Finally, I get to meet my idol. Windy, I'm Michael. My family arranged for me to be your assistant."

This guy wasn't shy about admitting he got in through connections.

"Hello." Winona nodded slightly and sat at her desk.

Michael asked, "Is there anything you need me to do?"

Having never had an assistant, Winona wasn't sure what to assign him. She was at a critical stage in restoring an artifact, and there wasn't much a non-professional could help with. She thought for a moment. "Can you get me some water?"

Then she remembered his background and doubted he'd do such menial tasks. "Never mind."

Before she finished, Michael had already turned to get the water.

Watching him, Winona's impression of him improved. He seemed diligent.

Michael returned with the water. "Windy, here's your water."

As she reached for it, she caught a familiar scent from him. It was something she knew well but couldn't quite place.
