Chapter 172 Generous Gift of Car and House

Henry was so excited when he heard that Steven had brought him a wife that he jumped right out of bed.

Steven glanced at the door. "She's right outside!"

Hearing this, Henry felt a bit embarrassed. "Steven, did you tell her about my situation?"

Steven felt quite speechless inside.

'No wonder he's been a bachelor for over forty years; he's still shy at a time like this.'

'If you're not a bachelor, who is?'

"No worries. She knows the situation. She's willing to live with you!" Steven rolled his eyes at him.

Henry was still hesitant, but Steven pulled him along, and Henry finally followed Steven out the door.

The two of them went to the living room, where Elinor was chatting enthusiastically with Emilia.

Hearing the commotion, Emilia turned her head to look.

She and Henry locked eyes.

Henry saw Emilia's face clearly and was momentarily puzzled, but he quickly realized who she was and opened his mouth in surprise.

"You... you must be Emilia?" he cried out.

Seeing the honest, dark-skinned man in front of her, Emilia sighed inwardly.

While he did not fit her aesthetic preferences, circumstances left her with limited options.

With a graceful stride, she approached him and offered a warm smile. "Hello. You must be Mr. Garcia?"

Henry nodded quickly, like a relentless piling machine.

Steven said, "Now that you've met each other, you'll be living together from this point forward, taking care of each other and helping each other solve various problems."

"Given the urgency, I won't say much more."

"This house will be your marital home. Live here comfortably. Elinor and I will move out temporarily and not disturb your time together."

Steven didn't want to play the matchmaking game, as it would waste time.

Moreover, from Henry's excited eyes, Steven could tell he was eager to spend time alone with Emilia.

Henry felt a bit embarrassed when he heard Steven was leaving the house for him.

"This... how can I accept this? This house is the fruit of your labor!"

Steven replied, "I've found a new place to live. Leaving this house empty would be a waste, wouldn't it? You living here is like helping me take care of it. It gives me peace of mind!"

Most of Steven's memories in Sunshine Community were bloody.

Although most of the people he killed deserved it, there were also some accidental injuries.

Leaving here and living in a different environment was necessary for his mental health.

Steven leaned in close to Henry and said with a mischievous smile, "Besides, with everyone living together now, isn't it inconvenient for certain things?"

Henry licked his dry lips and nodded repeatedly, agreeing with Steven.

Emilia also nodded happily.

This house was very comfortable to live in, equipped with a fireplace and a perfect insulation system.

Living here with just the man named Henry was far better than her mansion in Emerald Estate!

Steven said to Elinor, "Go pack your things, and I'll take you to the new house later!"

Elinor nodded happily and went to her room to pack her things.

Steven called Henry aside to explain other matters.

"Before I leave, there are some things I need to tell you."

"First, the supernatural ability. You need to train and develop it yourself. It has great potential and room for improvement. The stronger your ability, the better you can protect yourself."

"Second, personal safety. You must not show any mercy to the neighbors in this community. Over the past month, you've seen the complexity of human nature. So, don't easily trust them, and don't sympathize with them."

At this point, Steven pointed in Emilia's direction.

"Especially don't let a woman cloud your judgment. A man with strength won't lack women. You need to know who the head of the household is!"

Henry nodded repeatedly, but whether he took it to heart was up to him.

Soon, Elinor finished packing her things.

They were mostly personal items.

She didn't have many personal belongings, but the various stockings and underwear Steven had given her filled a suitcase.

Steven put the items into the extradimensional space.

Before leaving, he filled the kitchen with food, enough for Henry and Emilia to eat for at least two months.

As for future meals, Henry would have to figure that out himself.

After all, he was now a Psychic and couldn't always rely on Steven's care.

Leaving the house, Steven took one last look at his home.

This safe house cost $1.1 million and had helped Steven survive many crises.

Now, it seemed small and simple. But the memories of the past month would be etched in his mind.

Steven touched the heavy metal door and smiled with relief.

Henry and Emilia saw them off downstairs.

Before leaving, Steven glanced at the snowmobile.

He smiled at Henry and said, "In the future, you can't go out looking for food without a means of transportation. This vehicle is yours!"

"You can also come to visit me whenever you have time."

If Steven encountered trouble in the future and needed Henry's help, this would allow him to come over immediately.

Henry was moved to tears by Steven's generosity and repeatedly refused.

"No, I can't accept this! Steven, you've already given me too much. I... I can't take any more!"

Steven said seriously, "You need to think about the future."

"But if you give this to me, what will you do?" Henry looked worried.

Steven shrugged. "I'll manage with something else."

He walked to the door, and a flash of white light appeared in his right eye, revealing a four-wheeled snow vehicle in the snow.

It was a snow car, not a snowmobile.

The silver-gray streamlined body looked as good as a supercar. The front sides had red sleds, and the bottom had a wheel and track system.

The interior was spacious, with enough room for people in both the front and back rows.

If you ignored the bottom structure, it was almost like a supercar!

Its appearance made the snowmobile next to it look inferior by comparison.

The difference was like that between a Ferrari and a Suzuki motorcycle!

Henry, Emilia, and Elinor were all stunned.

'My God, he calls this 'managing with something else'?' they thought.

Steven sighed and said to Henry, "I reluctantly gave you my beloved snowmobile. I can only make do with this!"

"I really don't like the cars; it consumes too much fuel. But there's no choice, since we're good friends!"

Henry said, "Perhaps you're right!"

He pursed his lips, feeling speechless.

Henry thought, 'Is this the advantage of possessing a space-based supernatural ability? It really made me envious!'
