Chapter 39 Stink Bomb
Alice felt sorry for her couch being seated and was disgusted by Paul, who was covered in urine.
After all, Paul was the one at the door, getting splashed with the most urine.
She immediately yelled at Paul, telling him not to sit on the couch.
Paul felt deeply wronged.
He only went to bother Steven because he listened to Alice.
Now, he was soaked in urine, shivering from the cold, with wounds on his body.
Yet Alice treated him like this!
But, fools would always be fools.
Paul thought to himself that Alice was right to scold him.
He hadn't done anything properly to help Alice, and with his dirty appearance, how could he dare to dirty her couch?
The more Paul thought about it, the more he felt he deserved to be scolded.
He quickly stood up and apologized to Alice, "I'm sorry, Alice, it's all my fault. Please don't be angry!"
Alice and Ivy hurried to change clothes, waving at him, "Get out quickly, we need to change clothes."
Paul didn't dare say anything and quickly left Alice's house.
The two women returned to the room and quickly changed out of the clothes soaked in urine by Steven.
But even after changing clothes, they could still smell the strong odor.
After all, it wasn't just on their clothes; their hair and skin were also contaminated, with urine even trickling down their necks.
With the weather so cold, taking a shower was like seeking death, so they didn't dare.
Therefore, they had to endure the nausea.
The failed plan and being splashed with urine made the two women harbor even more resentment towards Steven.
"What should we do? Steven is too cunning, he's not easy to deal with!"
"Damn it, no matter what, I will take over his house!"
"Let's figure out a plan; I refuse to believe he has no weaknesses!"
As the two women discussed how to deal with Steven, he sent a message to Alice.
[This time, it's urine; next time, I'll splash feces on you!]
This time, Steven was in a hurry, so if he had prepared in advance, he would have definitely greeted them with feces, drenching them!
Alice and Ivy were extremely disgusted; if they were splashed with feces, they felt they would rather die!
Steven turned off the chat without reading Alice's messages.
Although he had blocked message notifications, the number of messages kept increasing rapidly, and he knew they weren't pleasant without even looking.
He checked the homeowners' group.
As soon as he entered, he witnessed a spectacle.
Since Andrew took over Clara's house, Clara seemed to have mental issues.
Now, she was constantly sending voice messages in the group, demanding everyone hand over their supplies to her.
"I am the director of our neighborhood committee! If anyone dares not to listen to me, I'll round you all up when the snow melts!"
"Did you hear me? You all need to reply to me! Today you must bring all the food to my house!"
But this time, hardly anyone paid attention to her.
After a few days, everyone realized the current situation.
The authorities couldn't care for everyone, and Clara's so-called neighborhood committee was nothing.
She couldn't intimidate anyone and instead faced mockery.
"Damn biddy, why don't you just die?"
"You cheated us out of a box of bread; I haven't settled the score with you yet!"
Some brought up the early days of the snow disaster.
"If it weren't for you telling everyone it was fine, not to stockpile supplies, how would we be in this situation today?"
This remark immediately sparked everyone's anger.
When the snow first fell, although it was very cold outside, some still wanted to go shopping.
But Clara kept saying in the group that the snow disaster would soon pass and warned that anyone stockpiling supplies would be dealt with, so no one dared to go out.
A few days later, all the roads were blocked by heavy snow, making it impossible for them to leave.
If it weren't for her, they could have stocked up on supplies for at least another half month!
"Damn biddy, look at the consequences of your actions!"
"It's all your fault, you evil person!"
The neighbors cursed Clara.
The rich second-generation, Frank, also appeared in the group.
"I'll buy supplies at a high price, whether it's food or drink, I'll pay $1400 for a loaf of bread, $690 for a bottle of mineral water!"
The price of bread had soared to $1400, and Frank was truly desperate; his money was now useless and might as well be toilet paper.
Steven shook his head, uttering, "Even at this point, he's still thinking about using money to buy things."
Just as Steven finished speaking, someone immediately spoke up.
"I have some food to sell to you."
Steven fell silent.
It seemed that no matter the circumstances, there would always be people greedy enough to risk their lives for money.
Even if hope was fading, some were still betting that the snow disaster wouldn't last long.
However, only Steven knew that the snow disaster would drag on for an incredibly long time.
And after this snow, even when it stopped, it would take the world a very long time to recover.
Money was even less useful than toilet paper. At least toilet paper could be used to wipe one's bottom.
With this thought, a wicked idea suddenly popped into Steven's mind.
He had an abundance of toilet paper in his warehouse, more than anyone would need, but his neighbors probably didn't have that luxury.
If they ran out of toilet paper, what would they use to wipe themselves?
Soon, he shook his head again.
"They probably aren't eating well every day, so they probably aren't using the bathroom much either!"
However, this also indicated that the fragile peace they were currently maintaining would soon be shattered.
Steven knew that once food was completely cut off, people would turn into terrifying beasts.
The next day, Alice and Ivy knocked on Steven's door again.
They pleaded outside, hoping Steven would let them in, saying they were about to freeze to death.
Steven paid them no attention.
Were they about to freeze to death?
That was exactly what Steven hoped to see.
Seeing no response from Steven, they mentioned their past relationship, even saying that if he just gave them some food, it would be enough.
Through the surveillance camera, Steven saw that they had come with umbrellas.
It seemed that after being splashed with urine yesterday, they had developed a psychological trauma.
But Steven wasn't foolish enough to open the door for them.
If his guess was correct, they were carrying knives and were ready to kill him at any moment, then seize the house and supplies.
Steven thought for a moment, then opened the extradimensional space.
There were many miscellaneous items in the warehouse that he never used, but Steven had stored them away.
His extradimensional space was large enough, so he wasn't concerned about taking up space.
He didn't expect to need it now.
He took out two stink bombs from the toy area.
These toys were used for pranks; once ignited, they emitted a very foul odor that was difficult to wash off with water and detergent.
Listening to Alice and Ivy outside, Steven smirked mischievously, picked up the stink bombs, and walked over.
