Chapter 539 The Final Battle 5

Hurricane winds ravaged the space, tearing the ground into fragments. Yet Steven appeared elsewhere in the next instant, completely unharmed—his expression remained as calm as ever.

From a distance, Theron, Megan, and the others watched in astonishment.

Megan couldn't help but mutter, "So he never showed his true capabilities in front of us before!"

Perhaps only Lily and her companions truly understood how terrifying Steven's survival abilities were.

His Dimension Door was already overpowered, but now with spatial travel added to his arsenal, he could effectively immune himself from almost any physical attack.

Seeing Steven unscathed, Natasha's eyes flashed with surprise. But she quickly sneered in contempt. "Is running away all you can do?"

Though Natasha despised Steven's abilities, she wasn't afraid. They had gathered intelligence on every Psychic in Starlight City long ago.

Their analysis of Steven had concluded that while his defense was maxed out, his offensive capabilities were insufficient.

Even with his newly acquired Martial Prowess, the ability consumed too much energy and had an obvious wind-up.

Unless he ambushed her, he could never harm Natasha in direct combat! Natasha believed herself undefeatable.

Steven, however, thought the same about himself. The sharpest spear versus the sturdiest shield—which would prevail?

The onlookers watched with unbearable tension, able only to pray for Steven's success.

"Come and kill me if you can!" Steven taunted, making a provocative gesture toward Natasha. Her response came in the form of even more ferocious attacks!

Steven's form flickered continuously through space. With his spatial teleportation ability, his survival skills were truly first-class.

Natasha couldn't lock onto him for targeted attacks, and conventional physical assaults were simply absorbed by his Dimension Door.

Her only option was to expand her attack range, attempting to create an inescapable field of destruction.

What she hadn't anticipated was Steven revealing yet another ability.

While Dimension Door was massive with powerful defensive capabilities, its weakness lay in providing only unidirectional protection and being immobile.

Since acquiring this ability, Steven had continuously refined it. Finally, he had developed a more versatile defensive technique—Dimensional Shield!

He could compress his Double Dimension Door to the size of a shield, controlling it with his hands.

Though smaller in area, this adaptation made defending against attacks from all directions far more flexible and efficient. Moreover, he didn't need to free his hands to launch attacks.

Against Natasha, his only effective offensive weapon was his Pupil Technique [Martial Prowess].

The battle had stretched to Snowfall Cult's outskirts, obliterating everything in its path.

With his nearly flawless defensive capabilities, no matter how terrifying Natasha's attacks became, Steven's Dimensional Shield absorbed and redirected them.

Steven wasn't purely on the defensive. Whenever he spotted an opening in Natasha's guard, he struck with Martial Prowess!

Natasha remained wary of Martial Prowess's power, preventing her from attacking recklessly. Whenever Steven deployed Martial Prowess, she was forced to counter with Oblivion.

Using Snowfall Cult's ruins as their arena's center, their battlefield expanded across a six-mile radius.

Spherical, ethereal light clusters appeared in mid-air, devouring everything within their range.

Logically, Steven's combat power should be far inferior to Natasha's—he shouldn't be able to sustain such prolonged combat.

However, two factors worked in his favor: Sebastian's Legion power enhancement and the massive reserve of Supernatural ability food stored in his extradimensional space.

While fighting, he continuously consumed these resources to restore his stamina and Supernatural ability.

Without this advantage, he would have collapsed after using Martial Prowess just five times. This reality made Natasha even more terrifying in his eyes—despite fighting for so long, her Supernatural ability remained vast as an ocean!

Steven gained a profound understanding of Level 5 power through this encounter, despite Natasha's relative inexperience in combat.

The others could only watch and cheer from the sidelines. Even Theron eventually abandoned any attempt to join the battle, recognizing that at this level of combat, he would only become a liability.

Because of this, everyone's attitude toward Steven transformed from initial skepticism to utter amazement! "His defense is absolutely terrifying!"

"Thank goodness we never continued fighting against Steven—if we had, we would have been the ones annihilated in the end!" Megan and Leonard shared the same thought.

"But dragging this out won't solve anything," Eris said, her expression grave. "The difference in Supernatural ability reserves between Psychics of different levels is astronomical."

"Especially after reaching Level 5—it can't be understood through the lens of ordinary Psychics."

"Steven's attacks have no effect on her. Even if he can delay her, he can't win. Once Natasha grows bored, she could easily abandon him and attack us first."

Everyone's hearts sank. Eris made a valid point.

Steven's formidable defense merely prevented Natasha from killing him immediately. But if Natasha decided to leave, Steven couldn't stop her.

With Telekinesis at her disposal, her flight speed rivaled teleportation. She could absolutely abandon Steven and prioritize killing the others.

"Besides trusting Steven, we have no other options," Theron said gravely, arms crossed. "If Natasha truly wants to kill us, there's no escaping from a Level 5 Psychic."

They had heard rumors about The Astralium Kingdom's first Level 5 Psychic, the mysterious powerhouse from Everglow City District, who could reportedly kill from thousands of miles away!

Everyone knew Theron spoke the truth. Faced with such an absolute power disparity, all clever strategies became futile.

Unless Steven could defeat Natasha—or at least drain her until she lacked the strength to pursue them—even running away would be meaningless.

On the battlefield, Steven and Natasha had been fighting for over ten minutes.

Impatience gradually appeared in Natasha's eyes. She had deployed dozens of techniques against Steven, yet his Dimensional Shield and spatial travel abilities were like exploits in reality itself!

She couldn't hit him or catch him. This infuriated Natasha, who now considered herself nearly divine.

Her attacks grew increasingly devastating!

"Oblivion!" "Martial Prowess!" Another collision of ultimate techniques! Space once again erupted in prismatic colors.

A nearby skyscraper, caught in the crossfire, had a spherical hole melted through its midsection before collapsing with a thunderous roar.
