"And what happens if he absorbs too much energy?" Elmer asked.
Elmer's explanation was straightforward, and Charles quickly answered, "It'll collapse!"
Elmer nodded. "He just took our explosives, but he might not dare to absorb them when they're detonated. After all, that's 1100 pounds of TNT!"
Shane asked, "What if he can absorb the power of the 1100 pounds of TNT explosion?"
Elmer took a deep breath and said, "If that's the case, even if we use all the power of West Mountain Base, we won't be able to defeat him!"
He was being honest.
In that event, all thermal weapons would be useless against Steven.
So, thinking they could break through such a stronghold with just human effort was foolish.

Charles didn't rush to act but ordered his soldiers to start heavy fire from all directions towards the shelter to distract Steven.

Charles walked over to the explosives, patted them, and exchanged a glance with Shane.

But then, Shane showed her why.
Every muscle in his body started wriggling like worms, twisting and bulging.
His entire body began to swell, and a layer of silver hair sprouted from his pores.
Sharp teeth grew in his mouth, and his fingers turned into claws.
Shane transformed into a 20-foot-tall giant ape!
Lily thought, 'So that's his ability!'
Shane and Charles grabbed the bundle of explosives.
After Elmer set the timer, he gave them the signal, and the two of them hurled the explosives towards the shelter with all their might!
Charles, even though he was much smaller than Shane in his transformed state, didn't seem to struggle at all when throwing the explosives.
The bundle flew towards the shelter like a cannonball.
According to Elmer's calculations, it would explode just 165 feet from the shelter!
Even if it didn't blow a hole in the shelter, it would cause significant damage!
If this worked, they could keep up these attacks. They had plenty of explosives back at the base.
The bundle of explosives flew through the air, the target clear as day, and Steven spotted it immediately on the surveillance.
"So that's the plan!" Steven instantly got their intention.
He moved to where the explosives were headed, and a white light flashed in his right eye.
A huge dimension door opened above the shelter, covering hundreds of square feet!
At the same time, he divided the Extradimensional Space.
Steven separated the area storing supplies from the area ready to receive the explosives to keep the energy from damaging his hard-earned supplies.
The bundle of explosives fell into the Extradimensional Space in a perfect arc.
With a simple act of will, Steven observed the internal changes.
What he saw shocked him.
The large bundle of explosives had already started to expand, showing intense energy reactions.
The time flow in the Extradimensional Space was much slower than outside, but time still passed.
So for the outside world, this process made no difference; everything would still happen as it should.

Steven's dimension door shattered!
The surging energy spread above the shelter, and the explosion was deafening.
Even Lily and the others 1.2 miles away had to cover their ears.
But Charles and the others were ecstatic. "It worked, this method is indeed effective!"
