Chapter 534 Invincible

Countless massive boulders rose into the sky, then plummeted toward the ground under the terrified gaze of everyone below.

For miles around, the indiscriminate attack fell like a meteor shower—not beautiful, but horrifyingly destructive.

With escape impossible, every survivor desperately deployed their abilities in self-defense.

Theron laughed loudly, spinning his massive knight's lance like a windmill.

As the boulders crashed down, he physically deflected them with his weapon, altering their trajectories through sheer strength and masterful technique.

These weren't small rocks—each weighed tons, enough to flatten a truck into scrap metal. Yet Theron stood his ground before the others, refusing to retreat a single step.

With Otha gone, he was now the investigation team's leader—and he would shield his people with his life.

Steven handled the assault with comparative ease. His Dimension Door opened silently in the path of each falling boulder, making them vanish into another dimension before they could strike.

Others weren't so fortunate. Megan's fire abilities had little effect on the massive stones. She could only rely on Inferno Forge to enhance her body's capabilities as she dodged frantically between impacts.

The air filled with death as Psychics who couldn't evade fast enough were instantly crushed to paste without even time to scream.

"Get to me!" Steven shouted above the chaos.

If they were to have any chance against Natasha, they needed to preserve their strength in numbers.

Steven couldn't defeat her alone—he needed to protect the others.

Seeing how effectively his Dimension Door repelled the stone rain, the survivors rushed toward him.

Those who had once cursed Steven's spatial abilities as enemies now found profound relief in them as allies.

Steven expanded his Dimension Door into a massive shield overhead—an otherworldly umbrella protecting them from lethal impacts.

But not everyone could shelter beneath Steven's protection. The ordinary Snowfall Cult followers and their remaining Psychics stood exposed and vulnerable.

Initially, they had knelt in reverence at Natasha's display of power, hearts filled with joy at witnessing their deity's might.

But Natasha's attack made no distinctions—her own followers were caught in the same deadly rain. Unprepared, they were annihilated instantly.

"Come back to me," Natasha said dispassionately.

The remaining Snowfall Cult Psychics had no further value to her alive. Better they return to the divine realm, their powers transferring to strengthen her.

With Neil dead, Natasha had to win this battle—only then could they create a world purged of impurity.

Dean and his two companions had kept their distance, sensing something wrong from the beginning.

Now, witnessing Natasha slaughter her devoted followers, their faith collapsed entirely.

"How could this happen? Why would Ms. Carter kill her faithful?" Tammy cried in despair.

Dean gritted his teeth, pulling his companions back as they dodged falling stones. "Steven was telling the truth all along. She's no savior—she's a monster, a madwoman!"

Natasha noticed them but regarded them with eyes cold as winter frost. Her attention remained fixed on Steven's group rather than specifically targeting the three fleeing priests.

Had she focused on them, their deaths would have been trivial for someone of her power.

She lowered her gaze to Steven. "Your ability... I want it too," she said softly.

Like a deity passing judgment, she raised her hand and pointed a single finger toward the group.

The boulders that had already crashed to earth began to tremble violently, then rose again, forming a chaotic stone vortex around Steven's group. Massive rocks whirled in all directions, trapping them at the center of the storm.

Steven's expression tightened. His Dimension Door could only exist in two places simultaneously—he couldn't defend every angle of attack.

Natasha's telekinetic control vastly exceeded Neil's; they weren't even comparable.

But the others weren't idle. Sebastian activated his ability—"Sebastian Legion"—a power that enhanced everyone nearby.

Already Starlight City's strongest surviving Psychics, with this additional boost, their combat effectiveness increased dramatically.

"Flame Dragon's Breath!" Megan shouted.

"Ice Blizzard!" Leonard called simultaneously.

Fire and freezing winds surged in opposite directions, battering against the swirling stones.

Leandro from the investigation team raised his black sniper rifle toward Natasha, his expression grave. "We need to kill Natasha first!"

Countering the stones alone would achieve nothing—only eliminating their controller would end this.

A dark projectile flashed from his barrel toward Natasha. She regarded it dismissively, unconcerned—until it pierced her telekinetic barrier.

The bullet stopped just one foot from her face, but her eyebrows furrowed slightly in surprise.

"She has too many different abilities to counter," Leandro said grimly.

Steven glanced at him curiously. "What kind of bullet penetrates a telekinetic barrier like that?"

He clearly remembered Lanny's numerous Levitating Energy Cannons failing to make even the slightest impact on her defenses.

"Mutant Bullet," Leandro replied. "Specifically designed to counter mutated creatures."

Including Psychics, naturally.

Steven couldn't help but marvel—Silvercrest District was truly formidable.

Less than six months into the apocalypse, they'd already developed ammunition specifically designed to combat Psychics.

Though he realized such bullets likely wouldn't affect his own abilities, since Dimension Door wasn't technically a defensive power but a gateway to another dimension.

The Mutant Bullets were probably designed to penetrate defensive abilities like those in the Strengthening System, Orcs System, or telekinetic barriers.

Theron's commanding voice interrupted his analysis. "We can't let her dictate the battle any longer. From now on, everyone follows my orders!"

He studied Natasha hovering above them, his gaze intensely focused. "No matter how powerful her abilities, she's still a young woman lacking combat experience."

His lips curved into a determined smile. "And that means she'll inevitably show us an opening."
