Facing Natasha's terrifyingly powerful abilities, everyone struggled desperately to defend themselves.
Even Steven's Dimension Door couldn't protect everyone completely.
But this glitch-like defensive technique that could repel all physical attacks at least kept him, Fluffy, Lily, and the others unharmed.
"How are we supposed to fight this? She has too many abilities—finding her weakness is impossible!"
"Captain, let's escape!" Earl suggested.
"Escape? To where?" Steven coldly stared at Natasha in the center of the storm. "Do you really think we can still escape now?"
If it were just Steven alone, escaping would be no problem at all. But not while bringing the others with him.
After all, he could react at the speed of spatial travel, but they couldn't. Any delay would waste precious time, allowing Natasha to quickly catch up.
"Our only option is to fight! If we win, Starlight City will know peace from this day forward!" Steven's voice hardened.
"If we lose—well, we'll worry about losing when it happens!"
Steven locked his gaze on Natasha hovering above, the Martial Prowess in his right eye building with lethal potential.
Natasha sensed this power, and her form suddenly became ethereal, as if countless afterimages overlapped, making it impossible for Steven to lock onto her position.
However, Steven's side had one major advantage: numbers. Theron had mentioned that Natasha's combat experience was limited—even with her overwhelming power, she had weaknesses.
Now with Steven's Martial Prowess keeping her occupied, Natasha couldn't focus exclusively on them, giving them an opportunity to attack from the flanks.
Sebastian pushed his Supernatural Ability to its limits, empowering everyone on their side.
Leandro raised his sniper rifle, aiming a Mutant Bullet at Natasha's head, adding another layer of pressure.
Though she didn't fear Leandro, taking even one shot would be an unwelcome outcome for her.
Theron gripped his knight's lance, carefully searching for an opportunity to land a killing blow.
Despite his incredible defenses, taking another point-blank hit from [Oblivion] would likely shatter even his bones!
"You dare to resist me? You actually think you can?" Natasha's cold voice echoed from above.
As she waved her hands, an even more terrifying storm swept out in all directions, as if intending to annihilate everyone in a single strike. And her primary targets were Steven and Leandro!
Steven sensed this immediately and activated his Double Dimension Door, making everyone vanish from their positions!
The moment they disappeared, countless stone fragments smashed into the spot where they had just been standing.
But Leandro didn't have Steven's convenient escape ability, and Natasha's power engulfed every corner around him.
Looking up, he saw himself trapped in the center of a black tornado hundreds of feet tall!
There was nowhere to run!
Natasha seemed like a being from a higher dimension, toying casually with his life!
"Break through!" Just as Leandro stood helpless, a familiar roar came from beside him.
A massive knight's lance tore a gap through the storm!
Theron, clad in black combat gear, charged in, tucked Leandro under his arm, and burst back through the storm!
"Such impressive defense," Natasha observed, recognizing him as Theron, the deputy captain of the investigation squad—a top-tier Strengthening System user. "But how long can you withstand my attacks?"
Within a 1.8-mile radius, stones flew through the air as everything in existence became subject to her control.
Her energy seemed endless as she continued her relentless assault.
"Martial Prowess!" Steven's attack came again!
Natasha's attention had never left Steven, and seeing his move, she unhesitatingly unleashed [Oblivion] to counter it.
The greatest threat to her was Steven, the one with the one-hit-kill ability!
The two forces erupted in strange radiance where they met in midair, before mutually annihilating.
Steven drew a deep breath and spoke rapidly to Lily and the others, "Get out of here! This battle has escalated beyond your ability to contribute!"
Overwhelming numbers meant nothing against a Psychic who transcended normal limitations.
Across the entire battlefield, only a handful of them could have any impact on Natasha.
Anyone else would just be a living target for Natasha and an additional burden on their teammates.
So Steven ordered Fluffy to take the others away. Even Lily, with her close-combat abilities, would struggle to be effective in this situation.
"But..." Lily started to argue, but stopped when she saw the terrifying seriousness on Steven's face.
Time was critical, and Steven had no desire to waste breath arguing. They needed to obey his commands!
Lily was somewhat frightened by Steven's gaze. But she quickly realized that her abilities would be of little help to Steven and might even hinder his spatial movement capabilities.
"Fine, we're going!" Lily jumped onto Fluffy's back. Henry and Earl called out to Steven, "Be careful!"
Then they too climbed onto Fluffy. The three humans and one beast cast a worried glance at Steven before fleeing the scene.
In the center of the battlefield, Megan, Leonard, Sebastian, and some members of the investigation squad became the main force.
Having mastered Telekinesis, Natasha floated high above, looking down on everyone as she fought.
So all the Strengthening System users except Theron retreated to the back, providing support and protection for the main attackers in front.
And utility-focused Psychics like Eris and Rolf unhesitatingly left the battlefield entirely.
Hatred blazed in Lanny's eyes. Levitating Energy Cannons surrounded his body, brilliant orbs releasing terrifying force as they fired toward Natasha like a devastating rainstorm!
Simultaneously, Sebastian used his ability to empower everyone. Leonard's Ice Blizzard and Megan's flame dragon all worked to wear down Natasha and divide her attention.
At this moment, everyone understood one critical fact:
To defeat Natasha, Steven was the key! Because only his attacks posed a genuine threat to her!
So even Lanny, who normally treated Steven with the most contempt, now showed the professional quality of an investigation squad elite, giving his all to create openings for Steven's attacks.
Facing the attacks of over a dozen Psychics, Natasha felt increasingly irritated.
These attacks meant little to her. But she had to constantly guard against Steven with his one-hit-kill ability!
If she showed any defensive weakness and Steven's Martial Prowess connected, she could be critically wounded!
