Chapter 365 The Great Battle

Outside the headquarters of the Snowfall Cult, the sound of artillery fire filled the air.

The combined forces of Emberwick Base and Silverlake Base had arrived here.

The disappearance of their Psychic subordinates had enraged them, and they directed their fury at the Snowfall Cult, whom they suspected the most.

In the apocalypse, power was the absolute truth.

They didn't need to seek the truth; as long as they believed the Snowfall Cult was responsible, they could launch an attack.

In the process, they could also eliminate this increasingly powerful religious force that had long been a thorn in their side.

Megan and Leonard personally led the team, with dozens of modified snow vehicles carrying hundreds of fully armed soldiers, attacking the outskirts of the Snowfall Cult and starting to assault its guards.

The disparity in weaponry and equipment between the two sides was too great.

Both bases were built by the military for wartime preparation, so they were not lacking in advanced weapons and ample ammunition.

However, the Snowfall Cult was a mixed bag, and even if they had some firearms, most were just ordinary goods from the black market.

Even if some people could shoot, their marksmanship was terrible.

In no time, the defending soldiers suffered heavy casualties.

Crimson blood stained the white snow.

"Hold on! We must hold on! We can't let them destroy our home!"

"For the Snow God!"

The armored vehicles drove down the street, heading toward the massive cathedral at the end of the road.

On both sides of the road, on the buildings, many Snowfall Cult warriors were ambushed.

They held simple weapons and even started to fight back with stones.

Some even fearlessly strapped explosives to themselves, charging forward with Molotov cocktails!

Although their weapons were rudimentary and their tactics crude, their fearless charges managed to hold back the combined forces of the two bases.

Megan saw this and a shadow crossed her eyes. "This damn cult has brainwashed its followers into monsters who aren't even afraid of death. They should indeed be eradicated!"

There were simply too many followers of the Snowfall Cult. Fearless individuals charged from the streets, jumped from buildings, and launched suicide attacks from sewer entrances.

The combined forces of the two bases were prepared for this kind of attack, because this wasn't the first war between them and the Snowfall Cult.

But even so, they still felt a bit of horror seeing it again.

"Push through and capture that bitch Natasha for me! I want to tear her apart!" Megan waved her hand, pointing at the distant cathedral. "Whoever captures her, I'll reward them with fifty pounds of beef!" she shouted.

Hearing such a generous reward, the soldiers raised their submachine guns and roared as they fired.

The Snowfall Cult members weren't afraid of death, so did they. Living in such times, life and death didn't matter much.

The firefight continued, and the Snowfall Cult's tactics could only delay the advance of the two bases but couldn't stop them.

After all, the disparity in weaponry and combat skills was too great.

At this moment, several figures appeared at the end of the street. Seeing them, the Snowfall Cult soldiers' eyes lit up with hope. "The priests are here!"

Neil, leading three priests, coldly stared at the enemy.

"Kill them!" he ordered.

The soldiers saw that it was just a few important figures and immediately turned their guns on them, bullets pouring out.

But facing such a barrage, Neil remained unfazed. He slowly raised his right hand, blocking in front of him.

This simple gesture seemed to form an impenetrable wall. All the bullets suddenly stopped in front of him, as if embedded in a soft rubber wall.

Neil released his hand, and all the bullets fell to the ground.

He calmly looked at the combined forces and asked, "Are you tearing up the peace agreement?"

Megan stared at the stern man and said, "Neil! Tearing up the peace agreement? Weren't Snowfall Cult the ones who struck first?"

After saying this, she didn't give Neil a chance to retort. She took out a large flask from behind, pulled out the stopper, and took a big gulp.

Then she exhaled, spewing out a massive fire dragon from her mouth!

The crimson flames lit up the entire street at night, melting the snow on the 100-foot-long street instantly. The intense heat turned a dozen Snowfall Cult followers into charred corpses!

The flames rushed toward Neil and his group. Even though they were powerful Psychics, they couldn't help but look serious in the face of Megan's terrifying attack.

Neil spread his hands to both sides, using his psychic power to pull two old trucks from the snow to block in front of them.

The flames were blocked by the trucks, but the intense heat still made Neil and the priests feel their faces burning.

They quickly retreated a few steps, and Neil shouted, "Is there some misunderstanding? Our Snowfall Cult has always remained neutral and doesn't oppose any force!"

But Megan and Leonard ignored him. They had come to deliver a heavy blow to the Snowfall Cult. The truth could wait; they would fight first and talk later!

"Kill them!" Megan waved her right hand forward, and the soldiers immediately jumped off the vehicles with their weapons.

They might not be able to handle the Psychics, but they had no problem dealing with the ordinary followers.

Leonard also waved to his subordinates, and the soldiers of Silverlake Base charged as well.

Seeing that they wouldn't talk, Neil's eyes grew colder. He understood that they had come to destroy the Snowfall Cult!

To make them stop, they had to show enough power!

"Counterattack! We must not let them get close to the cathedral!" Neil shouted.

The soldiers of Emberwick Base and Silverlake Base began slaughtering the followers of the Snowfall Cult.

They had superior weapons and armor, especially in terms of cold resistance, they were far better equipped than the Snowfall Cult followers, who were only wearing down jackets.

Fighting in the icy night, they were confident they could easily break through the Snowfall Cult's defenses and make them flee.

As for the priests of the Snowfall Cult, they were attacked by Megan and Leonard, along with their Psychics.

Megan raised her flask and took a big drink, then exhaled a massive fire dragon that covered the long street!

A fire-type ability user could exert such powerful combat strength in the Ice Age, thanks to her vast energy reserves.

Beside her, Leonard also attacked without hesitation. In the battlefield, life and death were decided in an instant; a moment's delay could mean total defeat!

Leonard took a deep breath and exhaled white mist, causing the surrounding temperature to drop. "Lord of Ice and Snow!"

A thick layer of ice and snow quickly covered Leonard, forming a heavy and sturdy armor.

He lightly pressed his right hand on the ground, and the surrounding ice and snow exploded, sweeping toward the Snowfall Cult members.

His figure became blurry and hard to detect in the snowstorm.
