Chapter 323 Dodgeball Fight

Charles didn't want to waste any time; he wanted to eliminate Steven as quickly as possible to avoid any unexpected incidents.

Even if Steven activated quadruple speed, he couldn't match Charles, who had the Strengthening System, in terms of physical abilities.

However, before entering the valley, Steven injected himself with the remaining two doses of stimulants all at once.

At this moment, Steven was in a state even better than his peak!

Steven quickly retreated, extending his right hand forward, and a Dimension Door instantly opened in front of him.

The massive Dimension Door blocked Charles's path.

But after several encounters, Charles had already understood this Dimension Door.

With his strong intuition, he could sense its presence.

Seeing Steven use this move again, Charles couldn't help but let a cold smile creep across his lips.

As long as his speed was faster than Steven's ability to switch the "door" direction, he could plunge the military dagger in his hand straight into Steven's heart!

But suddenly, a huge object appeared out of thin air in front of Charles, smashing toward his head.

It was a massive heavy truck.

Charles was startled and quickly dodged to the side.

'Does his Supernatural ability also include the power to throw objects?' Charles wondered.

Charles had seen the Dimension Door's ability to reflect attacks, but this was the first time he saw it throwing objects.

However, Charles didn't care because such attacks were mere child's play and couldn't affect him at all.

But this was just the beginning.

After one truck appeared, more objects were thrown out.

Pickup trucks, Bentleys, Rolls-Royces, excavators, large lathes...

These were all things Steven had collected in his spare time, planning to put them to good use someday. But now, they'd turned into tools for crushing people.

Charles was extremely fast, but the things Steven's Dimension Door threw out were too many, making it impossible for him to dodge.

Charles pulled out a combat knife from his back and, facing a car in front of him, roared and slashed at it.

The car, weighing 2200 pounds, was directly cut in half by him, falling into the snow on both sides.

"Nice knife! Let's continue!" Excitement flashed in Steven's eyes. His Dimension Door now had a very large range, so various debris kept pouring out like garbage from a dump truck!

For this fight, Steven had hit up a bunch of supermarkets and malls, gathering all kinds of stuff.

Charles's close combat ability was extremely strong, but he didn't have the Supernatural ability of the Release system, nor did he have the ability to clear a large area.

So these debris were extremely annoying to Charles.

"Ridiculous, do you think these things can hurt me?" Charles said with a cold smile, casually slashing through the large amount of debris pouring in front of him.

Steven kept retreating, laughing. "If that's the case, then why are you dodging?"

Charles said he didn't care, but he was worried Steven had some scheme, so he was desperately dodging the debris, choosing a roundabout way to approach Steven.

But Steven was going all out, and Charles kept getting tripped up by the random crap flying at him. No matter how hard he tried, he couldn't close the gap.

"You can't keep this up forever!" Charles glared, his voice icy. Thanks to that damn Dimension Door, he couldn't just shoot his way through. He had to find a way around it and get up close and personal with Steven.

As long as he got within 10 feet of Steven, he could end Steven's life in an instant!

Steven stopped talking and continued to control the extradimensional space, throwing out a large amount of debris to block the way.

Cars, toys, wood, colorful women's underwear...

The first few items were fine; Charles could slash them apart with a single stroke.

But those colorful underwear and panties gave Charles a headache.

The valley wind caught them, sending the delicate lace fluttering everywhere, messing with Charles's line of sight.

Although Charles could smash a multi-ton truck with one punch, he had no way to deal with these lightweight lace garments.

'Despicable behavior!' Charles cursed inwardly.

To him, it was less about the damage and more about the sheer disrespect. Steven was clearly just buying time, and it was working.

"I don't believe you can keep throwing things forever!" Charles shouted.

Charles was unaware of the intricate specifics of Steven's capabilities, nor did he comprehend the capacity of Steven's extradimensional space.

Steven hadn't fully explored the extradimensional space—what he'd already mapped out was so massive that it could hold as much as he wanted.

Charles gritted his teeth and pulled two black lace lingerie pieces flying toward him to the side.

But those things stuck to his hand and wouldn't come off his arm.

Charles was extremely annoyed, and before he could clean them off, more and more clothes fell on him, making his movements very inconvenient.

With a forceful pull, Charles tore these clothes to shreds.

Although these things could cause some obstruction, they couldn't trap the immensely powerful Charles.

With a loud bang, another pile of broken wood, machinery, and iron barrels was thrown at Charles.

Seeing those iron barrels, Charles vaguely sensed something was wrong.

If those things were filled with gas, it wouldn't just mess with his sight—Steven could light it up and turn this into a firestorm.

So Charles quickly dodged.

As he expected, the iron barrels Steven threw out were all filled with gasoline!

And they were wide open.

Dozens of barrels of gasoline fell from the air, and although Charles tried his best to dodge, some gasoline still splashed on him—and not just him. The snow around him was drenched in gasoline, too.

"You're too insidious!" Charles cursed through gritted teeth.

Steven took out a handgun and fired a shot at the ground near Charles's feet.

A tracer bullet, shining with a brilliant glow in the midnight, hit the gasoline on the ground.

Raging flames immediately shot up high, covering a large area where Charles was.

But Steven didn't let up. He knew this fire wasn't enough to take Charles out—that high-tech combat suit could handle the heat. But in a raging inferno like this, Charles's vision would be be toast. Forget about using infrared or night vision; that wasn't happening.

In the flames, Charles looked at the fire licking his body, completely unfazed. He didn't even bother to put it out.

This fire couldn't hurt him, but the blazing flames posed a problem by making it impossible for him to locate Steven.

Charles sneered. "How long can you keep using this stalling tactic?"

Charles thought Steven's approach was too foolish. Tactics that couldn't cause substantial harm were meaningless.

"Perhaps you are a genius in defense, but when it comes to offense, you resort to nothing but contemptible and treacherous measures."

Charles despised Steven's underhanded attacks, but as he tried to step out of the fire, Steven launched another round of attacks.

This time, dozens of iron barrels appeared above Charles's head again, and they were filled with some milky white unknown liquid.
