Chapter 391 The Snowfall Cult's Scheme

Sebastian didn't give an answer on the spot. As the leader of Frostwood Base, his every move now affects the lives and deaths of thousands of workers at Frostwood Base.

He wasn't some wise sage, but he was very steady in his actions.

Therefore, he always thought things through carefully, ensuring he made no mistakes.

Shortly after ending the call, Megan sent him the promised information about the shelter.

Sebastian glanced at the information, and that one glance made him slightly stunned. He then sat up straight and stared at the screen intently.

At the forefront of the information was Steven's personal data.

"It can't be that coincidental, can it?" He muttered to himself.

Seldwa District.

Leonard also contacted Neil from the Snowfall Cult, asking them to join forces and attack Steven together.

Unlike Megan's smooth talk with Frostwood Base, Leonard didn't bother sugarcoating it for the Snowfall Cult.

Out of the four major players in Starlight City, the Snowfall Cult was the weakest link.

Sure, they had numbers, but in every other way, they didn't hold a candle to the others.

Moreover, they had been proselytizing and absorbing people from other forces, so none of the other factions were very friendly towards them.

So, Leonard's attitude towards Neil was very tough. It was more of a command than a request.

"We three major bases will send people over. We hope you will also send a team to assist. We don't want anyone eyeing us from behind while we fight hard."

Neil frowned. He knew that with the current strength of the Snowfall Cult, it was impossible to refuse Leonard's suggestion.

Otherwise, the three factions might clean them out first.

"Alright, I understand. We will send people over." Neil had no choice but to agree with Leonard.

Leonard laughed, "You're a smart man."

After ending the call, a murderous intent began to spread wildly in Neil's cold eyes.

He punched the wall beside him with his right hand, and his immense strength directly destroyed it!

"Leonard, Megan, Sebastian, I'll let you be arrogant for a while! When the Snowfall Cult rises, I'll kill you all!"

The affairs of the Snowfall Cult were all presided over by High Priest Neil.

Natasha, the cult leader, usually did not interfere in other matters as she was the spiritual leader.

However, this matter was of great importance, so Neil went to report it to Natasha.

After listening, Natasha's calm face showed no signs of emotion. "Another war? How many people will die this time?"

She clasped her hands together and looked devoutly at the statue of the Snow God at the top of the church. "May the merciful God have pity on everyone and lead them away from the sufferings of the world!"

Neil, standing behind her, said helplessly, "The three factions are acting together. We have no choice but to send troops. I'm just afraid they'll make our people go first."

Natasha said, "Death is not terrifying. Everything will return to the embrace of the Snow God."

Neil said, "I'm just afraid that after taking down the shelter, we won't get anything. And when the three factions grow stronger, they'll eventually come after us!"

A dark light flashed in Natasha's eyes.

She slowly turned around and looked at Neil. "Perhaps this could also be an opportunity. We can send people, but we must get a share of the spoils!"

Neil took a deep breath and shook his head. "Territory is not important to us."

"Then we want people!" Natasha said, "Once we've taken the shelter, we'll pass on the territory. But they've got to allow us to proselytize in their zones. And no hunting down the defectors—they're already chosen by the Divine."

Neil pondered for a moment, "Proselytizing might be difficult, but it can be negotiated."

At that moment, there was a sudden knock on the church door.

Neil frowned. Who dared to interrupt him and Natasha while they were talking?

"Who is it?"

A familiar and weathered voice came from outside the door. "Neil, it's me, Jordan. I have something very urgent to report to the cult leader and you!"

Hearing that it was Jordan, Neil restrained the cold glint in his eyes.

In the entire Snowfall Cult, Jordan's status was very special. He didn't hold any official position within the cult, yet his importance was second only to Neil.

This was all thanks to his unique ability, Intuition Sensing.

Without him, the Snowfall Cult wouldn't have been able to gather so many powerful Psychics.

"So it's Jordan who's back. Come in!"

As soon as Neil finished speaking, the church door was pushed open.

Jordan walked in with a cane and first bowed to Natasha.

Neil asked, "Jordan, how did your investigation of Steven go?"

The Snowfall Cult's intelligence system wasn't just poor; it was almost non-existent.

Unlike other base organizations, they didn't have advanced network systems or professional investigators.

So they had to rely on Jordan to use his Intuition Sensing ability to assess Steven's team's strength.

Jordan stepped up and gave a respectful nod to both Natasha and Neil. "I've got something big, which is why I'm cutting in. But trust me, once you hear this, neither of you'll be mad."

Natasha and Neil's expressions became more serious. "What did you discover?"

Jordan raised his head, his cloudy old eyes gleaming with a hint of sharpness. "I picked up on something massive out there—a presence so strong, it might just rival yours, Ms. Carter."

Upon hearing this, Natasha's stern face finally showed a slight change.

Even Neil's eyes widened, seemingly unable to believe what he had just heard.

"Jordan, what did you just say?" Natasha asked in a cold voice.

Jordan threw his hands up, his voice earnest. "Ms. Carter, I'm all in for you and the Snowfall Cult—every word I'm saying is gospel. In that shelter, there's someone with powers that could match yours. Maybe they're God's chosen, sent to help you make miracles happen!"

Natasha's eyes fluctuated intensely.

Neil lowered his head in thought; Jordan's words had a tremendous impact on him.

Natasha's Blessing ability could awaken Supernatural abilities in others without any cost, a power that could be considered miraculous.

And Steven or someone around him had a Supernatural ability strong enough to rival Blessing?

Even when meeting Charles, Megan, and Leonard, Jordan had never given such high praise.

Doesn't this mean that the mysterious Steven and his team possess extremely formidable strength?

If that's the case, can this attack really be as simple as Leonard said?

It's likely that Leonard and Megan are unaware of this intelligence.

They have underestimated Steven's team's strength!

Natasha's eyes flickered briefly, then steadied.

"Got it. Thanks for the heads-up, Jordan. Go take a break. I've got some fresh faces lined up for you—you'll dig them." She clapped her hands, signaling the end of the conversation.

The church door slowly opened, and a nun led two delicate-looking boys over.

They had just undergone the "exorcism ritual" a few days ago, and now their faces were pale, giving them a sickly, ethereal look.

A fervent light burst from Jordan's cloudy eyes.

"Thank you for your grace, Ms. Carter!"

After saying this, he turned around, ran to the two boys, and left with them, smiling.

The nun slowly closed the door.

Inside the church, Natasha looked at Neil. "That just changed everything."

Neil's brow furrowed, his voice low and serious. "Seems like we all underestimated Steven and his crew. Even if the four of us team up, taking down that shelter from a distance won't be that easy."

He paused, letting the weight of his words sink in.

His brows sharpened like blades, his tone growing fiercer. "But if we switch sides—team up with Steven and turn on the others—that'd be different!"
