Chapter 102 A Pretty Woman Weighs No More Than a Hundred Pounds

Aurelia's mouth twitched as she turned to see Nathaniel waving at her after finishing his call.

"Aurelia, come over here first."

Aurelia didn't understand what he meant, so she returned to the rest area with her golf club.

"Are you hungry? I'll have some food sent over first." He finally remembered that they hadn't had breakfast before leaving.

Aurelia was straightforward. "I want pasta."

Nathaniel had already instructed the waiter to bring a sandwich and milk. As he looked at her slender limbs, he couldn't help but mock, "Being picky isn't good. Just eat whatever is served!"

While saying this, he picked up his phone and said to the waiter, "Cook a bowl of pasta and bring it over."

Ashley was left out in the sun. Seeing that Nathaniel had left and Aurelia, whom she was supposed to compete with, was also absent, Caleb was leisurely sitting in a chair drinking water.

Were these three people here to watch her perform?

She angrily dropped her golf club and walked back, sitting down next to Caleb.

"Caleb, will you play a game with me?"

After finishing a bottle of water, Caleb replied, "I don't want to bully a little girl. Nathaniel will definitely take care of me."

Ashley started to act coy. "Caleb, will you play with me? If I win, you have to tell me one of your little secrets."

Ashley was now full of curiosity about him. She knew little about her fiancé, so she wanted to spend more time with him and know everything about him.

With a bottle of water in his hand, Caleb asked, "What if I win?"

"Then I'll also promise you something."

With the match set, Caleb became interested. "Let's play a game. Don't cry if you lose."

Ashley was very confident in her golf skills. She had started learning from a top coach invited by Reed and had never been beaten by anyone among those socialites.

Except for Nathaniel, she had never been beaten by anyone.

On the other side, Nathaniel and Aurelia sat there waiting for breakfast.

Soon, the waiter brought a sandwich, a cup of milk, a bowl of pasta as per Nathaniel's instructions, and also a blue shirt.

Aurelia recognized the shirt Nathaniel had worn not long ago. She was curious why he had the waiter bring the shirt. His white shirt was clean and not dirty.

Noticing her confusion, Nathaniel said, "Your skirt is too short for sports."

Aurelia reacted by looking down at her above-the-knee skirt.

She usually didn't dress like this, but this morning, she was in a hurry and grabbed one quickly.

Now, it seemed indeed unsuitable for sports, although it wasn't revealing.

"I'm wearing safety shorts."

Nathaniel, holding the sandwich, looked slightly puzzled. "That's still not okay."

Aurelia fell silent and ate her pasta sullenly.

She was very hungry, and she appreciated that he remembered she hadn't had breakfast yet.

The cook had prepared a small portion of pasta according to a girl's appetite, which was usually enough for her. However, today, she was extremely hungry, and on top of that, she had to share the nutrition with two little ones.

After a few bites of pasta, she felt like she hadn't eaten anything at all.

Wiping her mouth, she still wasn't full.

At this moment, Nathaniel was elegantly eating his sandwich, his eyes on the two playing golf in the distance.

Sensing Aurelia's gaze, he glanced over. Seeing the empty bowl in front of her, he realized she had finished everything. She was still eyeing the milk on the table with a greedy look, which was quite amusing.

He was surprised that this picky eater also had a day of craving, like a cat begging for food, as if he usually starved her.

"Do you want some milk?"

Aurelia swallowed. "Can I?"

He was curious why she suddenly had a bigger appetite today. Normally, she couldn't finish that bowl of pasta.

"If you want it, get it yourself. I won't let you go hungry."

Upon hearing that, Aurelia didn't hold back and took his cup of milk, drinking it greedily.

Nathaniel's gaze remained fixed on her, unable to look away as she finished the milk, unconsciously reaching out to wipe the milk stain off her lips.

As he leaned in, a faint scent of the sandwich wafted over.

Aurelia, feeling resentful, glanced at the half-eaten sandwich in his hand, her appetite clamoring in her stomach.

Nathaniel immediately caught on, raising an eyebrow and asking, "Do you want more?"

This time, he sounded somewhat surprised. He couldn't recall Aurelia ever eating so much in one sitting. She used to be picky, which had caused Betty at home a lot of trouble. Betty had even taken a cooking class to learn how to cook various dishes to get her to eat more.

Aurelia felt embarrassed to admit that she really wanted to eat. It was the first time she felt this awkward in front of him. Today, her stomach seemed like a bottomless pit, never getting full, no matter how much she ate.

Although her stomach felt round and full to the touch, she still felt hungry.

Nathaniel held out the sandwich to her mouth, offering her a bite.

Aurelia didn't care much at that point; she just wanted to fill her stomach first.

Nathaniel's face showed a look of relief. "Eating like this, you won't end up as skinny as you wished."

Aurelia disagreed, "I'm not thin. I'm just right. Actresses as tall as me weigh only around eighty pounds, and I'm almost over a hundred."

"That's a sickly sense of beauty, you know. Beauty is based on health. Being skinny isn't attractive."

"Have you not heard the notion that a beautiful woman weighs no more than a hundred pounds?"

"Have you ever heard that a woman weighing less than a hundred pounds is either flat-chested or short in stature?"

Aurelia almost choked on her sandwich, unable to help but look down.

Nathaniel chuckled lightly. "You know yourself pretty well."

He didn't finish the second half of the sentence, knowing she was sensitive about her chest size.

Hearing his words again, it felt like psychological manipulation between a couple. Aurelia became agitated.

"My chest isn't small. If you don't believe me, look up the average data online. I'm definitely above average."

Nathaniel's lips curled involuntarily. He extended his left hand halfway in front of her.

"Still think you're not small?"

Aurelia swatted his hand away.

"Your hand is too big."

"Alright, I'll try to make it smaller."

Aurelia was speechless and thought, 'Your hand size has nothing to do with me.'

Caleb, watching Nathaniel feed Aurelia the sandwich, lost focus and hit the ball off course.

He couldn't even see where the ball had rolled to.

He stood there in a daze.

According to the rules set with Ashley, two out of three wins. Each had won a game, and the third ended in a tie. This mistake caused him to lose the match directly.

Clutching the golf club under his arm, Ashley looked triumphant.

"How about it, Caleb? Will you accept the bet?"

Caleb didn't even hear what she said. He saw the intimacy between the two in the rest area, feeling a sourness in his throat as if he had swallowed a lemon.

"I'm done playing."

He tossed the golf club aside, wiped his forehead, and walked towards the rest area.

Ashley found it strange and followed him, hearing Nathaniel and that annoying woman arguing about something big or small from a distance.

"Nathaniel, what are you discussing? Big or small?"
