Chapter 211 Personally Feeding Her Abortion Pills

Nathaniel directly shoved the medicine into her mouth, not even giving her a sip of water.

Chelsea dry-heaved a few times, but the medicine had already traveled down her esophagus into her stomach. Overcome by despair, she collapsed.

After ensuring she had swallowed the medicine, Nathaniel stayed for another half hour, probably to prevent her from vomiting.

Half an hour later, he returned to the car and told Zack, "Go to the psychiatric hospital."

Upon receiving the order, Zack immediately headed to the hospital where Maria was staying. As he witnessed his boss finally taking action against Chelsea, a wave of joy surged through him, though he regretted that Aurelia couldn't see Nathaniel's efforts.

The city was completely shrouded in darkness. Earlier, thick clouds had covered the sky, and now a torrential downpour was falling relentlessly.

The car stopped at the gate of the psychiatric hospital.

Nathaniel got out, holding a large black umbrella. Through the relentless rain, he looked at the hospital obscured by the downpour. His anger had reached a breaking point, more intense than the storm surrounding him.

Zack had already contacted someone to inform the hospital director of their visit. A few minutes later, the director hurried over with a leaky umbrella.

The director apologized, "Mr. Heilbronn, Zack, sorry for the delay. Please follow me to the office to talk."

Zack stepped forward and said bluntly, "There's no need to head for the office. Our Mr. Heilbronn doesn't have that kind of time. Isn't your hospital is sheltering a murderer, Dean Rivera? That's quite bold of you."

Zack's calm question made Dean Rivera's legs go weak, almost causing him to fall into the rainwater.

Dean answered anxiously, "Mr. Heilbronn, Zack, you must be mistaken. I'm a law-abiding citizen. How could I do such a thing?"

Zack replied, "Is that so? Maria's medical records and her psychiatric certificate were issued by your hospital. As for who in your hospital was bribed by the murderer, you can explain that to the police."

"Now, bring her out immediately. If she escapes, your position as director is over," Zack ordered.

Terrified, Dean Rivera wiped the sweat from his forehead, nodded in understanding, and hurried back with his shabby umbrella to find Maria.

Meanwhile, the police had arrived.

Nathaniel had kept the recording of Maria's call and had called the police on the way over.

His wife and child had been brutally murdered, and the killer was still at large. It was his own incompetence to blame.

He couldn't endure it for another minute. Even though it was already late in the evening, he had to send the malicious Maria away.

The police car stopped at the hospital entrance just as Dean Rivera brought Maria out.

Maria was wearing a handmade dress, her permed hair soaked by the rain. She was being held by security guards on either side, and panic washed over her face when she saw the people outside.

The rain drenched her loose hair, sticking it to her face.

When she called Chelsea, she had already sensed something was off. Chelsea's tone was completely different from usual, and the call was abruptly cut off.

Her right eyelid twitched violently, and her instincts told her something bad was going to happen.

After the other patients had gone to sleep, she had changed her clothes and was planning to escape.

Seeing the flashing police lights in the distance, Maria's heart pounded.

At the entrance, the security guards pushed her, causing her to fall to her knees.

Two police officers approached and handcuffed her hands behind her back.

Maria tried to argue, "Who are you? How can you arrest me without reason?"

The police officer snorted, "The law won't let any criminal go unpunished. Arresting you was only a matter of time. Face the consequences."

Maria struggled in the rain and shouted, "Let me go! I haven't harmed anyone. I'm a legal citizen. You can't just arrest me. I'll report you for police brutality."

Crying and shouting, she was dragged and pushed into the police car.

The lead officer walked up to Nathaniel and said, "Mr. Heilbronn, we'll keep you updated on the case. Thank you for providing us with the information. If you have any other leads, please let us know. We'll ensure justice for the victims."

"Thank you," Nathaniel's voice was chilling in the rainy night. His gaze pierced through the car window, looking at the struggling Maria inside the police car. His aura was terrifyingly cold and intimidating.

He wouldn't let her off easily.

After the police left, Nathaniel returned to the car and instructed Zack, "Inform the people inside to take good care of her. Let her experience what true madness feels like."

Zack, turning the steering wheel, smirked,

Zack assured him, "Don't worry, Mr. Heilbronn. Once Maria is in there, even if she's not crazy, we'll make her crazy. I'll arrange for her to have some 'good' cellmates."

Nathaniel nodded in agreement and added, "One case alone won't be enough to sentence her to death. We still need to investigate Aurelia's mother's case and find the evidence."

Zack agreed, "Mr. Heilbronn, we can't let her be sentenced to death too quickly. Let her suffer in there first. I bet she's done plenty of evil deeds. Dying too quickly would be too easy for her."

At this point, the two were on the same page.

Maria had harmed Nathaniel's beloved Aurelia and her mother. He would make her life a living hell, making her suffer before finally sentencing her to death to atone for her sins.

Nathaniel glanced out the window. They were heading towards the Bloom Villa. He instructed Zack, "Head back to the office."

He had made the office as his home. Whether it was the Bloom Villa or his grandfather's new mansion, everywhere held memories of Aurelia. He couldn't bring himself go back there, only staying in the small rest area.

Nathaniel stayed up all night. Since Aurelia's passing, his insomnia couldn't be cured even with sleeping pills.

At dawn, he got up. Standing by the tall window, he looked over the commercial street below, chain-smoking until the pack was empty.

He had Zack cancel all his morning appointments and headed to Diamond Crest Estates before work.

Today, he was determined to divorce Chelsea. Being tied to her for even a moment longer made him feel utterly disgusted.

He went upstairs and entered the passcode to unlock the door. The living room was silent. The medicine box he had opened yesterday was still in the trash.

Two maids, hearing the door, quickly came out.

They greeted him, "Mr. Heilbronn, you came back so early."

Nathaniel responded indifferently, "Wake her up and prepare all her documents. We're leaving in five minutes."

The maids hurried to comply. One opened Chelsea's bedroom door and called out, "Miss Thompson, Mr. Heilbronn is here. Time to get up."

No response.

The maid called again, "Miss Thompson, did you hear me?"

She walked to the bed and lifted a corner of the blanket. The next second, she screamed.

Can't win me back
