Chapter 229 No Name of Mrs. Heilbronn

She calmed herself and asked, "What is he doing here?"

Joe took a sip of his tea and said, "Still haven't found out then reason yet. The first thing he did after he arrived here was buy a house. He probably wants to live there himself."

Aurelia broke out in a cold sweat and asked, "Does that mean he wants to live in Coral Bay permanently?"

For Aurelia, this was a real problem, even a ticking time bomb.

Aurelia felt uneasy, even suspecting that Nathaniel might have caught wind of something and come to take the kids.

"Joe, does he know something?" she asked.

Joe paused for a moment and said, "Probably not. Given his personality, if he knew something about you and the children, he wouldn't hesitate to act immediately. So far, we haven't noticed any other moves from him, I think it’s safe to assume he doesn't know."

Joe looked at the worried Aurelia and comforted her, "Don't worry, I won't let him buy a house in Coral Bay."

Coral Bay was the Semona family's territory. If Joe wanted to make things difficult for Nathaniel, he wouldn't be able to easily settle down here.

Joe and Aurelia were speaking in riddles, thinking the two kids didn't understand.

Jacob, holding a toy, was eavesdropping on his mommy and uncle's conversation. From the talk, he figured out that the person they were discussing was his flirtatious father.

'Dad actually came to Coral Bay. I should take this chance to mess with him a bit' Jocod thought.

His eyes sparkled with mischief as he hatched a new plan.

Meanwhile, Nathaniel was going around various real estate agencies but couldn't find a house he liked.

The houses he was interested in were all said to be sold out. For the first time, he felt the frustration of having money but not being able to spend it.

In the evening, Zack came back after a busy day to report his findings.

Zack informed, "Mr. Heilbronn, I have obtained the list of all the people buried in Coral Bay's cemeteries. I roughly checked, and didn't find Mrs. Heilbronn's name. I'm not sure if I missed it."

Nathaniel took the list and checked it name by name. After going through the densely packed names three times, he still couldn't find Aurelia's name.

Zack's phone rang, and he stepped aside to take the call. Moments later, he came back to report, "Mr. Heilbronn, our contact in the prison reported that Maria couldn't take it and passed away. She suffered inhumane torture before her death."

Nathaniel asked, "Who did it?"

Zack replied, "Currently, it's still under investigation, we should be able to find out soon. But we haven't heard of Maria having any other enemies."

Nathaniel narrowed his eyes, curiously, and said, "Let me know as soon as you find out."

After Zack left, Nathaniel stared at the pages of the list. He had come here with the certainty of finding Aurelia's burial place, but there was still no clue.

All the cemetery lists in Coral Bay were here, yet her name was not on them. Could she be buried in another city, or had she changed her name?

After pondering for a while, he thought it might be the latter.

Thinking of this, he marked all the names with the surname Semona on the list and sent them to Zack, asking him to investigate their family backgrounds.

While Nathaniel busy, a call came in on his phone.

He glanced at it and saw it was from Chris. He answered the call and got straight to the point, "Chris, any findings?"

Chris informed, "Nathaniel, hacker J has resurfaced, in Coral Bay."

Hearing that, Nathaniel's eyes gleamed with a cold light and asked, "Where exactly?"

He had come to find Aurelia's grave, but he didn't expect J to be in Coral Bay too. He wasn't sure if this J was an enemy he had offended before, following him here for revenge.

If that were the case, he would need to hire a few bodyguards.

He could hear the sound of Chris typing on the keyboard in the background. Nathaniel knew Chris was working on it and patiently waited for his answer.

Moments later, Chris finally replied, "J has enhanced the information security code and strengthened the protection. I can only determine the general area, not the exact location."

"Which area?" Nathaniel asked.

Chris answered with certainty, "The Willowshire County."

Nathaniel was left speechless for a moment.

Willowshire County was so large; how was he supposed to find someone whose name and even gender he didn't know, who only operated online?

It was harder than finding a needle in a haystack.

After hanging up, Nathaniel threw his phone onto the bed, and a Mickey Mouse making a funny face popped up on his phone screen.

Nathaniel felt a surge of anger. He even regretted not choosing computer science in school. Now, he was being bullied by J and had no way to fight back.

His phone had been hacked!

He couldn't figure out what kind of audacious person would dare to provoke him repeatedly like this.

Although it hadn't caused him any serious trouble, it was an insult to his intelligence, and he felt his dignity was being trampled on, and yet, he could do nothing about it.

Meanwhile, Jacob stayed in his room, secretly looking through Nathaniel's phone gallery.

He had hacked into Nathaniel's phone and was flipping through the photos stored in it.

Most were of jewelry, some from the Heilbronn Group, and some popular items on the market.

In those photos, Jacob saw many pieces of jewelry similar to those in his mommy's safe, and even a few design sketches made by his mommy. Going further into the photo gallery, the dates went back to four years ago, and they were all photos of his mommy.

There were pictures of her dressed up in formal attire, wearing an apron doing housework, and even casual photos in home clothes.

Seeing this, he was more certain that this person was his father.

Mommy wouldn't casually live with someone.

A knock on the door startled Jacob, and he quickly closed the laptop and went to open the door.

Seeing it was Aurelia, he said, "Mommy, why aren't you asleep yet?"

Aurelia had developed a condition of mental exhaustion over the years. If she slept late, she would suffer from insomnia, so she usually went to bed before ten in the evening.

Aurelia brought a glass of milk and said, "Jacob, your sister is already asleep. I saw the light in your room was still on, so I came to check on you."

She placed the milk on the table and pulled Jacob into her arms, gently stroking his eyebrows, which were identical to Nathaniel's.

Jacob asked her gently, "Mommy, why are you unhappy?"

Jacob could tell that Aurelia was troubled today, despite her efforts to hide it.

Aurelia shook her head in denial and said, "Mommy is not unhappy. Mommy just hasn't seen you two for a few days and missed you very much."

Jacob snuggled into Aurelia's arms, rubbing his little head, and asked, "Mommy, do you miss Daddy? Don't worry, Jacob will find a suitable daddy for himself. He will be tall, handsome, and only love Mommy."

Aurelia was momentarily stunned by Jacob's words. She rarely talked to him about his father, only making up lies when he asked.

She felt bad about it, knowing the feeling of not having a father, always feeling inferior and without support. Aurelia's eyes filled with tears.

The two kids were growing up and had reached the age where they envied others for having a father.

"Jacob, do you want a daddy?" she asked.

Jacob thought for a moment and said, "I do, but he has to get my approval to be my daddy."

In his mind, someone as foolish and flirtatious as Nathaniel wouldn't do. He wouldn't pass his test and wasn't worthy of Mommy's love.
