Chapter 214 Order from Imperick

Aurelia hired two assistants, and Anne Studio officially opened for business.

On the opening day, Joe sent over many flower baskets. He knew Aurelia wanted to keep a low profile and start her business with her own efforts. Although he still wanted to help her, he respected her decision and only sent over flower baskets instead.

He was also eager to see what Aurelia could achieve on her own.

Aurelia was organizing books in the office while the assistants; Luna Everhart and Aurora Blake were arranging the flower baskets in the workspace. Luna was neatly arranging the blooming flowers and stared at the last oversized flower basket.

Ordinary flower baskets were over a meter tall, but the last one was a full two meters high. It was practically a giant flower post, seemed to be a custom order than something from a flower shop.

"Anna, where should we put the largest flower basket?" she asked.

Aurelia glanced up and casually said, "Put it by the tall window."

After a busy morning, Aurelia received her first order of the day.

A fashionably dressed woman, exuding wealth and confidence in her eight-centimeter stilettos, entered the room, asking, "Is anyone here? I want to order a diamond bracelet suitable for young people, a set of gemstone necklace, ring, and bracelet for my mother, and a hair accessory for an updo. Money is no object; use the most expensive materials."

The two assistants were delighted. On the first day of business, they received a big order and quickly invited the customer inside, offering her good tea and snacks.

Aurelia brought over a computer and noted down her requirements one by one.

When it came time to leave contact information, the lady gave an address located in a wealthy area of Imperick, which Aurelia was somewhat familiar with.

Hearing the familiar address, Aurelia's hand paused on the keyboard, asking, "Ms. Sinclair, if you don't mind me asking, how did you find our studio?"

Nova straightforwardly said, "I saw the ad in Mr. Semona's office. Any designer who catches his eye must be extraordinary. I trust you."

Joe's extensive business connections made it no surprise that he knew socialites from Imperick. Aurelia felt reassured hearing her say that.

A month later, the first order was perfectly completed. When Nova came to pick it up at noon, she was stunned upon opening the box. Initially, she had been disdainful, thinking little of this small studio. She held no expectations from the beginning.

She hadn't expected that this three-person workshop could produce such stunning and unique jewelry. Especially the set for her mother, which was both elegant and one-of-a-kind on a global scale.

The design could easily outshine those of major brands, eliminating the worry of someone else having the same piece. It was a real treasure.

Nova happily paid the balance and put on the diamond bracelet she had ordered for herself before even leaving. As she walked out, she called her brother, "Bro, where did you find such an amazing designer? Why didn't you introduce her to me earlier?"

On the other end of the line, Caleb chuckled, thinking to himself that her works weren't something someone could just buy anywhere.

If he hadn't accidentally discovered in Nathaniel's office that Aurelia was the internationally renowned designer Lolly, there would have been no opportunity to acquire her coveted creations now.

He said, "Hurry back. Don't be late for Mom's birthday party tonight."

Nova pouted as she replied, "If you hadn't made me go so far to order jewelry for Mom, I wouldn't have to travel so much. You're making me go back and forth between Imperick and Coral Bay in one day."

Caleb teased, "Stop complaining and get back here. Mom's waiting for you."

After hanging up, Nova took a photo of the jewelry set for her mom and posted it online. Although her brother paid for it, she did the legwork, so the gift could be considered from her.

At the Sinclair family's birthday party, Mrs. Sinclair invited the city's elite and even some wealthy ladies from out of town.

Mrs. Sinclair, dressed in luxurious attire and wearing the jewelry set Nova had bought from afar, became the center of attention among the ladies.

Mrs. Sinclair's birthday party was something Ashley would never miss.

She had her hair done beautifully in advance, picked up the most gorgeous dress from Marcus's store, and then pestered Beatrice to go through all the jewelry at home. None of them seemed satisfactory.

Finally, she found a necklace in Beatrice's treasured jewelry box that matched her dress.

As she was about to leave, she noticed the jewelry Beatrice was wearing and her eyes widened, asking, "Mom, when did you get this jewelry set? It suits you so well."

Beatrice smiled as she revealed, "This is the jewelry set your brother is launching next quarter. It's not on the market yet. This is the first set produced, and he sent it to me."

Ashley huffed, "Nathaniel should have thought of you earlier. He always sends the new pieces to Aurelia first, even though you're the lady of this house."

Beatrice's face darkened with anger, but she didn't scold her.

Beatrice said dismissively, "Let's go. We don't want to be late."

Beatrice and Ashley, adorned in dazzling jewelry, arrived at the Sinclair Estate, and Beatrice instantly became the focus among the ladies.

The Heilbronn family was already a prominent family, and since they were in the jewelry business, Beatrice always wore jewelry that other wealthy ladies couldn't buy, making them envious.

Someone inquired, "Mrs. Heilbronn, your jewelry set is stunning. Where did you get it?"

Beatrice straightened her neck and smiled, replying, "Do you like it? It's the new collection from the Heilbronn Group for next quarter. Nathaniel brought it to me as soon as it was produced."

Everyone knew that the Heilbronn Group's new collections were hard to get in the first few months. Without connections, you couldn't even get in line. Most people could only buy the previous quarter's featured pieces.

These wealthy ladies didn't lack money; they didn't want to wear something everyone else had. They just wanted to get something fresh and unique.

Someone squeezed to the front and flattered, "Mrs. Heilbronn, could you reserve a set of the new collection for me, please?"

"Mrs. Heilbronn, please save a set for me too," Another one added.

Beatrice smiled proudly as she replied, "I don't handle business matters. You should ask Nathaniel."

The ladies secretly rolled their eyes in dismay. Everyone knew Nathaniel was a tough businessman who didn't give favors. It was easier to find a second-hand seller than to ask him.

At this moment, someone asked creatively, "Mrs. Heilbronn, your son has been single for a while. Is there a suitable girl for him?"

This question hit Beatrice's heart. Thinking of her unfortunate daughter-in-law, who had tragically died in a car accident while pregnant, Beatrice realized that Nathaniel hadn't dared to come home since. The whole family had kept Reed in the dark about Aurelia's death.

In her eyes, Nathaniel had suffered too much, unable to return home and without a woman to care for him. He was almost thirty, and as his mother, she felt it was her duty to ensure Nathaniel's marital happiness.
