Chapter 64 Catching Adultery (Part 1)
Aurelia's movements while blow-drying her hair stiffened. She turned to look at him, astonished at how shameless this person had become, able to say such things with a straight face.
She didn't need his help to get dressed.
He was trying to take advantage of the situation.
Nathaniel wasn't joking; he had already gone back to the main bedroom to find clothes. In no time, he came back with a light gray long skirt in hand, casually grabbing some underwear as well.
Aurelia felt a chill down her spine. She thought, ‘What is he up to again?’
"Nathaniel, can I not go? I'm a bit sleepy."
Aurelia wanted to say she was a bit tired but changed it to being sleepy at the last moment, not wanting to boost his ego too much.
"Aurelia, don't dawdle. I really have something to do. You never try on the clothes Zack sends every quarter; many still have their tags on. This skirt suits today's weather. Change into it later."
Aurelia's gaze fell on the skirt and found that its color matched the color of his suit, almost like a couple's outfit.
By now, her hair was dry, but she hesitated on how to change clothes, wearing only a nightgown on top.
"Can you leave first?"
Nathaniel approached with the clothes. "If I leave, I won't be able to help you change."
He was serious, hanging the skirt on his arm, reaching to untie the belt around her waist. He had done it in the morning, and now he was even more skillful.
Aurelia blushed; in broad daylight, he was about to undress her again, and she didn't know what he was planning this time. His temper was unpredictable, making it hard to guess his intentions.
She lowered her head, holding her hand at her waist. "I'll change by myself. Don't mess around."
Nathaniel stood with his hands on his hips, a mischievous smile climbing his lips. "You know what? I can do it again."
Aurelia was taken aback, looking up at him. His words carried an overpowering aura, causing her to release her grip and let him dress and undress her like a Barbie doll.
She wasn't sure what this new excitement was about; Aurelia felt he probably didn't have the patience to cater to her; he was more of the enjoying type.
The nightgown fell silently to the ground. Under his burning gaze, Aurelia felt like she was being grilled over a fire.
His hand landed on her neck, tracing down the marks he had left before, finally resting gently on the slightly bulging area he had touched, causing Aurelia to shiver involuntarily as if an electric current had run through her body.
"Hurry up."
She urged him to dress quickly.
Nathaniel gently toyed with Aurelia's breasts, much gentler than his actions on the bed just now.
"I suppose no man would like to hurry up when doing such a thing. Will you like it if I hurry up when having sex with you?"
Aurelia's face blushed; he was dressed up while she had nothing on top, which left her feeling embarrassed.
He enjoyed teasing her like this.
"Don't you have something to do?"
Nathaniel replied with a hint of restraint in his voice.
He did have something to do.
Reluctantly, he let go of her, helping her put on the bra.
Aurelia stared at the two small pieces of semi-transparent lace in his hand, realizing men indeed liked this style.
"Aurelia, your bra needs a size change. Have you had a second growth spurt?"
Aurelia didn't want to discuss this topic; she hadn't worn her old bras for a long time. Due to pregnancy, her breasts had increased by a size, necessitating a change in bra size.
That one was indeed a bit small, but wearing it once wouldn't hurt.
With the dress on, Aurelia felt a sense of relief wash over her.
Nathaniel expertly zipped up the back of the dress, his movements swift as if he had done it a thousand times before. Aurelia felt a twinge of sadness; he probably often helped Chelsea dress.
His taste was impeccable; the clothes he picked suited her temperament well.
The knee-length long-sleeved dress was perfect for the spring climate in Imperick, and it complemented her tall figure. Her long hair cascaded down her shoulders, carrying a faint scent of shampoo.
She looked elegantly poised.
This time, Nathaniel didn't push her onto the bed; Aurelia sensed that the matter he mentioned was probably urgent. Otherwise, with his nature, another round of sex would have been inevitable.
Aurelia sat in the passenger seat, leaning over to fasten her seatbelt.
She asked, "Where are we going?"
Having been bewildered upstairs while changing clothes, Aurelia finally remembered to ask this crucial question.
Nathaniel glanced at her as she fastened her seatbelt. That done, he sat in the driver’s seat and stepped on the gas to drive out of the villa area. It took him a while to respond,
"Your friend and Oscar are cornered by the media in a room; we're going to help them out."
Aurelia responded, carefully considering his words. She thought back to the phone call she received from Ulysses in the morning. The next second, she was so shocked that her mouth opened wide.
"You mean, the two of them?"
She had always been curious; Oscar drove around in a flashy-colored sports car all day, and she had never seen any girls in his car. She hadn't even thought in that direction.
"Oscar, he..."
Nathaniel nodded as he drove. "Just as you thought. This is something others don't know, so don't spread rumors."
Aurelia nodded.
Nathaniel glanced at her and chuckled when he saw her lapse into silence as if she had discovered a big secret.
"Are you scared?"
Aurelia shook her head. "No. I was thinking you should have told me earlier; I could have introduced them to each other."
Nathaniel was taken aback by her words. "I didn't expect you to have such a hobby. But which one of them do you think is the bottom?"
Aurelia felt he was about to say something lewd again; it was getting a bit warm in the car, so she opened a window to skip over this topic.
At the Imperial International Auction Center, Ashley was waiting anxiously, even calling Chelsea to witness the commotion. They were rubbing their hands together in the hallway, waiting for Nathaniel to arrive alone.
Seeing him leading Aurelia, both of them couldn't believe their eyes at the approaching figure.
Chelsea's right eyelid kept twitching; they said it was an ominous sign. She felt this scene was frightening enough.
She was waiting for him to catch Aurelia and Oscar in the act, but what she got was a loving couple.
Although they weren't holding hands, Nathaniel was clearly adjusting his pace to match Aurelia beside him as they walked.
This reality was hard for her to accept.
"Ashley, who are the people inside?" Chelsea inquired.
Ashley was completely stunned. She had indeed handed Aurelia the juice with something added yesterday, but she hadn't seen her drink it.
The man in the room was definitely Oscar, but who was the other person?
That didn't matter now; what mattered was that their plan had failed once again.
At that moment, the media gathered at the door started snapping photos of Nathaniel and Aurelia. One reporter said to the person next to them, "Today is so exciting; we didn't catch the popular female star, but we got a scoop on Imperick. Don't lose the recording from this morning."
The person next to them kept pressing buttons, capturing Nathaniel and Aurelia on camera.
"We won't lose it; such a juicy story, I could listen to it for a lifetime. Whatever the news is, getting an exclusive is always good."
Nathaniel was used to speaking in front of cameras like this. He quickly took off his jacket and covered Aurelia beside him.
The entertainment reporters were going crazy today, daring to provoke Nathaniel.
"Aurelia, don't be afraid."
