Chapter 411 Joy
Nathaniel strolled over to her, took the towel from her hand, and helped her dry her hair.
Her hair was thick and smooth, with water droplets falling from the ends into his palm, the cold sensation turning into heat in the next second.
He mechanically dried her seaweed-like hair.
"Aurelia..."
No matter how slow Aurelia's reaction was, she could hear the hoarseness in his voice, a seductive mix of desire.
Memories from four years ago suddenly flooded back to her, and countless inappropriate scenes flooded her mind. She couldn't count how many nights of passion there were, with him pressing her down, calling out again and again.
"Aurelia..."
"Aurelia, why aren't you crying?"
"Hold on, just one last time."
"Aurelia, don't be shy, it's sweet."
Between adults, things didn't need to be spelled out clearly; a look or a name was enough to convey the meaning.
Aurelia carefully inhaled, thinking that her skin must be flushed with embarrassment, unable to hide that she was successfully seduced by him.
Nathaniel gently lifted her chin and kissed her according to his desire, tasting her lips bit by bit, then easily prying open her teeth to intertwine with her tongue.
His kiss was passionate and domineering, as if he wanted to suck the air out of her mouth and merge her into his body to fill his emptiness.
It had been too long since he had her, and at this moment, his body, suppressed for four years, was awakened. His entire being cried out for her, longing to be close, to touch her soul, and to possess her completely.
The glass door of the kitchen reflected their entwined bodies.
"Aurelia..." He whispered softly in her ear, "How long has it been? Almost five years, right?"
Aurelia tried to find a trace of calm, "Nathaniel, not today."
After saying that, she added, "My period is here."
Nathaniel kissed her forehead, the heat in his eyes gradually subsiding, but his face still showed dissatisfaction. He had indeed been overwhelmed by lust just now, but now that he calmed down, he remembered seeing sanitary pads in her bag when she took something out.
"I'll go take a shower." Unlike before, his voice was now filled with restraint.
Nathaniel let go of her and walked straight to the master bedroom. Aurelia stood there for a moment, feeling a bit sorry as she watched his lonely back.
When she appeared at the bathroom door, Nathaniel was shocked for a few seconds before turning his back to her. Even though they were familiar with each other's bodies, he still felt awkward.
He didn't expect her to follow him in. "Aurelia, don't come in..."
Aurelia ignored him, stepping closer and hugging him from behind, her delicate hand sliding down his abs.
Nathaniel shivered all over.
Aurelia said, "Let me help you."
The water above continued to flow down, drenching both of them, and Aurelia's newly changed clothes were soaked again.
The cold shower he was taking made her shiver.
Nathaniel immediately adjusted the water to warm, his eyes showing some reproach, "Why did you come in?"
They looked at each other through the water, her hair, which he had just dried, now clinging to her scalp, water flowing down from the top of her head.
The thin fabric of her dress, soaked with water, clung to her body.
Nathaniel looked into her eyes, feeling the pleasure her hands brought him, and his heart was filled with joy.
After a long time, they finally came out of the bathroom.
Aurelia went to the dressing room to find new clothes to change into, while Nathaniel hand-washed her previous clothes and hung them on the balcony of the master bedroom.
After Aurelia tidied herself up, Nathaniel had also finished his task.
"It's getting late." Aurelia's hair was half-dry, and at this time, she indeed should go home. She wondered if Dorothy, the clingy one, was waiting for her to tell a story.
Nathaniel walked over and hugged her, his heart and eyes full of reluctance, "Aurelia, when can you move in with me? I want to hold you every day."
Aurelia suddenly remembered that he had mentioned bringing Reed over, and she became nervous. Was Reed resting in one of the bedrooms now?
Thinking of this, Aurelia felt a bit embarrassed.
Recalling their cheeky remarks in the public area, it would indeed be very embarrassing if an elder had heard them.
"Nathaniel, where's Grandpa?"
Seeing her horrified expression, Nathaniel could guess what she was thinking.
"Grandpa is downstairs."
"What?"
Nathaniel patiently explained to her, "Grandpa said it was inconvenient to live with me, so I bought the house downstairs for him. Zack came over to tidy up a few days ago, and at this time, Grandpa should be resting."
Hearing that Reed was living downstairs and not in this house, Aurelia felt relieved. However, hearing his statement about Reed finding it inconvenient, she couldn't help but blush.
Considering what had just happened, the inconvenience was self-explanatory.
Nathaniel now belatedly realized that Reed was indeed experienced and thoughtful.
Aurelia snuggled in his arms, "I should go, Dorothy might be waiting for me."
Dorothy had been increasingly clingy lately, needing her mommy to put her to sleep, tell her stories, and hold her mommy's fragrant pajamas to fall asleep.
Nathaniel checked his watch, "The rain has stopped, I'll take you back."
His car keys lay quietly in the hallway, indicating that Zack had left them in a conspicuous place after bringing Reed and Marcus back, proving himself to be a meticulous assistant.
As they changed shoes and went downstairs, Aurelia asked again, "Do I need to visit Grandpa?"
"No rush, there will be plenty of opportunities. Grandpa should stay here for a while. If possible, I hope he stays here with me. The dry season in the north is bad for his respiratory system and not suitable for recovery."
Nathaniel got into the car, buckled her seatbelt, and then his own. He continued, "The Heilbronn Group's business will gradually move here too. Aurelia, home is where you are."
Aurelia sat quietly in the passenger seat. She licked her lips, "Won't it be difficult to move the Heilbronn Group here?"
Nathaniel didn't want to hide anything from her and said directly, "It's indeed not an easy task. The Heilbronn Group has been in Imperick for so many years, with complex networks and partnerships built over decades. It's not easy to move all that, so it will take some effort and the development of new partnerships."
Nathaniel smiled after speaking, "But, as long as there's determination, nothing is too difficult."
He wanted to follow her, and there was nothing he couldn't overcome.
